君君:“This is a must-see attraction, but after all the hassle, I didn't find it particularly interesting. You can book tickets in advance or buy them on-site. Once you get there, go to the information desk to exchange your tickets, then take the shuttle bus in. Unfortunately, we were caught in a strong wind and heavy rain, so the place was quite empty, but I decided to check it out anyway.”
lama sherpa:“I enjoyed a day at Thermea! It’s true … this is not a quiet spa! But we didn’t mind that as we like to chat as well. At other spas we’ve been to there is little or quiet chatter and people are often asked to stay quiet. At Thermea guests can get pretty loud in the hot springs or by the fire. We enjoyed a couple of sessions, like stretching and concentration. We really loved how these were offered to us. There is one steam room available for use and the other one is for an extra co”
xplorer_fc:“One of the nicest historical sights I have visited. Was not completely aware that I would get to see a Roman architecture in Britain. I must say, it was a day well spent!”
萨拉热窝的夏雨荷:“A very historical town. The car shuttled through the streets and alleys of Bath, and it turned out that this is the hometown of "Jane Austen", the female writer who wrote "Pride and Prejudice". Simple, beautiful, leisurely, peaceful, elegant and quiet. It can only be said that it is difficult to describe its beauty. very nice. There are many tourists, but it is very orderly. The air is also very good. It felt nice to take a quiet walk.”
Open tomorrow at 10:00-17:30 (admission ends at 16:30)
开心马铃鼠:“Bath's most famous attraction is also one of the most magnificent Georgian buildings in the UK. The Crescent Building is a group of 30 connected houses. It looks like a crescent moon from the distant mountains, and it echoes the circus, which represents the sun. There is a lawn for tourists and local residents to rest and play.
House No. 1 is a museum (don't go if you don't want to go), two houses in the middle have been converted into hotels (very expensive), and the rest are private property. It's very beautiful when the sun is full~”
Open tomorrow at 10:00-17:30 (admission ends at 17:00)
diyan cute:“bath abbey
Bath Abbey is a beautiful Gothic church located in Bath, England. It's known for its stunning architecture, including its intricate stained glass windows and the fan vaulting in its ceiling. The abbey has a rich history dating back to the 7th century and is a significant landmark in the city of Bath.”
Open tomorrow at 09:45-18:00 (admission ends at 17:00)
M43***62:“The Jane Austen Centre is a must for any enthusiasts of the writer. The presentation about Jane's life was very informative and brought to life by the presenter being dressed in the style of the day.
I did feel however, that the entrance price was a little high and also items in the shop .”
西溪老翁:“Pulteney Bridge
Pulteney Bridge is an arch bridge over the River Avon in Bath, England. Built in 1773, it is listed as a Grade I building by English Heritage.
Pulteney Bridge was designed by Robert Adam, whose construction drawings are preserved in the Soane Museum. It is one of only four bridges in the world with shops on both sides of the entire bridge. Shops on the bridge include a florist, an old map shop, and a juice bar.”
萨拉热窝的夏雨荷:“Nice circular square, very beautiful, very beautiful, very excellent. The circular square located in the center of Bath can be said to be a beautiful landscape of the city. Good experience. There are many tourists. People who come here to visit and take pictures. It is really good. The building has a classical beauty. Very good.”
TheForkUser:“Nice atmosphere, busy yet cosy restaurant. The food is superb and the service was exceptional. I would certainly highly recommend it and will go again.”
淼淼0301:“This restaurant is great. The food is made from the freshest local seasonal vegetables, so the food is very fresh and delicious. The environment is also great, the environment is classical and elegant, it's great to come here.”
Kevin:“A nice breakfast shop. The full breakfast there is very good, with fried eggs, sausages and bacon. The pancake with double eggs is also very good. The price is a bit expensive because it is located in the suburbs and a bit remote.”
TheForkUser:“We arrived for a 12.15 pm lunch in order to beat the busy period. Most customers were outside in the sunshine but we had chosen to eat indoors. The chairs were very comfortable and the ambiance very tasteful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My sister in law and I had the sea bass fillets and my husband had the gammon. Plates were all clean and my husband and I had a dessert. We will be back the next time we visit the area.”
Kevin:“It is the largest and longest-opening restaurant in the Roman Baths. The taste cannot be said to be the best, but at least it is acceptable, and the service level is also the best. The salmon inside is well cooked and quite flavorful.”
TheForkUser:“We attended the Elder to try their new tasting menu and wow!!! It exceeded all expectations and took a tasting menu to a whole new level. The food was phenomenal - taste wise and presentation. The flavours were beautifully thought-out. I opted for the rabbit and veal and the meat was cooked to perfection and again, outstanding flavours! We spoke to the owner, Mike who took the time to talk through the menu and where the produce and ideas came from - it was fabulous to know that even the honey came from his very own bees! The staff and chefs put their heart and soul into every aspect and into ensuring the overall experience is a good one! Gerda was a fabulous waitress - she spoke about the menu and wine pairing (which is highly recommended) with so much passion and was attentive and warm. The fish options looked equally as beautiful and we cannot wait to return to try! An absolute VALUE for money - it was worth every penny and more!”
tigerie:“This restaurant is the best one we have tasted in the local area. There was no seat when we went there for the first time, so we went there again the next day. It is really worth the trip. The taste is very authentic and the waiter's attitude is very good. It is worth recommending.”
TheForkUser:“Impeccable food (Sunday lunch) and service in a slightly out-of-the-way spot that’s absolutely worth the short trip from the centre of Bath.”
TheForkUser:“Fantastic food. Great balance of flavours across lots of dishes. The wine was an excellent example of Alsacienne pinot blanc. Relaxed and informal. Loved it”
358***33:“This western restaurant is located on Milsom Street in Bath. It is a seafood restaurant with a good environment and looks very clean. There are fresh seafood from Scotland here, and oysters are a must-order delicacy for most guests. The waiter will also introduce it to the guests. The price is not expensive and it is worth it.”
