Huiyin Gaoli Temple is located in the northwest of Yulu Mountain, Liwan, Zhejiang Province, southeast of Wulaofeng, adjacent to the tomb of Yuquyuan, Chen Yulong Tomb, Yu Qianqian and other monuments. It is free to visit. Huiyin Gaoli Temple was originally named Huiyin Temple and was built in 927 (two years after Tang Tiancheng), by Wu Yue Wang Qianqian. Huiyin's fame as Gaoli Temple is closely related to the fourth son of King Wenzong's Hui, the Yitian who is named "You Shi Monk Tong". In 1085 (the eight years of Yuanfeng in the Northern Song Dynasty), Yitian traveled to Hangzhou to ask for Buddha's law, and stayed at Huiyin Temple with the master Jingyuan. After the return of the kingdom, the three 170 volumes of "Hua Yanjing" were sent to Huiyin Temple, and the donation of funds to build Huayanjing Tibetan Jingge and Bodhisattva statues made Huiyin Temple famous and known as "Huayan First Road Field", commonly known as Gaoli Temple. Huiyin Gaoli Temple was repeatedly destroyed and built, and the temple building was basically no longer available in the early years of Guangxu. The temple was rebuilt in 2007.
