Guest UserOverall, it's pretty good, but the Wi-Fi on the 5th floor isn't great, and the mattress isn't very comfortable. I recommend booking a lower bunk bed, as climbing up and down from the top bunk is a real struggle because the footrests are too small. The space is a bit cramped, but the price is reasonable, and the storage space is good. I noticed that the cleaning staff frequently tidies up, so it's quite clean.

Right next to Shin-Imamiya subway station, so getting around is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff rotate, with two people on duty at a time, including locals, Chinese, Koreans, and Indians. There's a women's shower on the 4th floor, men's showers on the 6th, and a men's bathhouse and microwave on the 10th. Downstairs, there are convenience stores, pharmacies, and places to eat nearby. The room was super small, but quite clean, and they provided towels and plastic slippers. Because it's close to the train tracks, there's a bit of noise. Plus, there's some noise from motorbikes speeding by. I stayed for 3 days, and there was hardly any noise from other guests.

Fatiha MustaffaWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Although the space is compact, it felt surprisingly spacious for the two of us and had everything we needed.
The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment was well equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, TV, microwave, kitchen, and cooking utensils. We especially loved the balcony, as it was perfect for drying our clothes every day.
What impressed us the most was the host's kindness and hospitality. We arrived in Osaka after a long flight, feeling exhausted and sleep-deprived, so we asked if an early check-in might be possible. The host kindly accommodated our request at no extra charge, which we truly appreciated. Being able to rest before exploring Osaka made a huge difference to our trip.
Thank you for your warm hospitality. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Osaka and would happily stay here again!

Guest UserFirst hotel once touched down in Osaka. It was great as they allow early check in which is so so grateful and thankful for after a long flight due to long layover time. The staff is friendly and nice. But there’s one disturbing thing is every morning around 7/8/9 am, there will be door banging constantly and I assumed it’s the cleaning process which need to open some kind of room constantly. It was quite disturbing as it awakes me almost everyday. There’s the only downside. Other than that, location is great with walking distance to Tsutentaku and near to Zoo and Museum. It’s quite comfortable and will be perfect without the banging noise. Might hesitant to book again due to the noise as a light sleeper. Hope it can be improved in future. Overall, great stay and it’s near to a great luggage storage shop which named Daikoku Locker. Extremely cheap and easy to store,

Here is a natural traveler-style review in English:
I had a really comfortable stay at Hotel Sunplaza in Shin-Imamiya. The hotel felt safe, clean, and was perfect for travelers looking for good value. The location is one of its biggest advantages—it’s just a short walk from Shin-Imamiya Station, where you can take the direct Nankai Airport Express to Kansai International Airport (KIX), making airport transfers incredibly convenient.
There are also plenty of convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and Don Quijote within walking distance, so shopping and finding food is never a problem. Popular areas like Shinsekai, Tsutenkaku, and Namba are also easily accessible.
If you’re looking for an affordable hotel with a great location, easy airport access, and everything you need nearby, I would definitely recommend Hotel Sunplaza. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Osaka. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

DexQlfI spent several weeks at 3u Namba. The receptionists were always very pleasant and often helped me keep the same room between reservations. There's a significant dust problem because of the carpet everywhere, leading to dust bunnies all over, so if you have allergies, you should be aware of this. The location is perfect, close to stations, and the showers are generally clean. My only very personal negative point is that I find it a bit disappointing when you've been staying for several weeks and have to check out for just one night because the hotel is full, only to have to wait until 3 pm the next day for check-in. A bit more flexibility for regular guests would be a real plus. The rooms are good, but the view really depends on your luck. Thank you for the stay, and I will return. I recommend it if it's less than €20 per night outside of peak season.

A cozy place, just like home. It was super convenient having the bedroom, sink, and bathroom all on the same floor. But the best part was being able to freely socialize with friends from all over the world.

LandoXThe hostel is conveniently located near the metro station. The area outside is a bit like a bar street, but once you step into the hostel, it feels new, modern, clean, and comfortable. There are several common areas on the ground floor and upstairs, which are great for chatting, using your phone, or working. They also have a shared kitchen, washing machine, and dryer.
The dorm room had a bit of a strange smell, but it felt clean. The beds were spacious enough for a comfortable sleep, and each bed had its own private locker.

Guest UserI stayed alone for one night and it was quite convenient to get to the airport the next morning. For the price of a capsule hotel, you get a private room with AC, a TV, and a fridge, though there's no space to lay out your luggage. The area isn't the safest, but there are convenience stores and restaurants around. The vending machines are very cheap, and there's a takoyaki place with good food. Overall, it's great value for money.

Guest UserStayed in standard twin shared toilet room from 20 - 22 June 2026 2 nights for MYR180 and 14-15 June 2026 1 night for RM57. Highly recommended for solo travellers as the hotel is clean, convenient, walking distance to Shin Imamiya Nankai Line station, Shin Imamiya JR Osaka Loop and Dobutsumae / Tennoji Zoo Metro Station (Interchange for 2 metro lines). Nitori, Donki, many hotels and some eateries are also within walking distance. Shower room is at ground floor and gender-separated. There are 4 shower cells with high privacy and 3 washing basins. Washing machine and drying machine is inside the shower room and you can pay by coin or apps. There is a common area at lobby with toilets, microwave oven, electronic kettle and kitchen basin. No water refill machine is provided, I need to buy water bottle at convenience store nearby. The room is very clean and comfortable, it comes with Wi-fi, air conditioner, smart TV (need to pay for certain programme), small fridge, 2 sockets for charging phone and window. There is toilet at every floor.
After booking, you will receive email to pre register your particulars, upload passport photo and selfie photo. Then you will receive QR code. On arrival, you need to scan the QR code pasted at entrance by typing your name. One set of password will be generated for you to enter the entrance, your room and shower room. Receptionist only work at counter from 9 - 6pm. You can store luggage before check in but cannot store luggage after check out. Check in time is 3pm while check out is 9am.
Overall I am very satisfied with the hotel and will definitely come back in future.
