Our stay in July was a truly beautiful memory! The owner was fantastic, and it was so welcoming to communicate in Chinese. The place itself captured the essence of Penang with its charming vintage vibe. The colorful windows filtered light beautifully, casting a dreamy glow, and the cozy atmosphere truly made us feel right at home. If we ever come back to Penang, we will absolutely stay here again!
Forum Hotel is centrally located in Georgetown. There are some popular food spots near the hotel eg wanton noodles, nasi kandar and prawn noodles. Though in the city, it is located in a quieter area with less heavy traffic. Thus, it's easy to drop off or be picked up by Grab.
The room is clean and comfortable. However I wish they would provide soap at the basin for washing hands. Though they provide tooth brushes, there wasn't any shaver.
Do note that the shower tap should be turned in clockwise direction for hot water and check in is at 3.00 pm.

TTravel King of the KingThe location is superb close to Penang international airport, it's convenient for those who plan to stay one night for the next morning early flight. The hotel has a lift, but the tooth brush and tooth paste is not provided , please bring your own prior to arrivals.
The durian store opposite the hotel (outside of Giant bayan baru) is bad, please don't be cheated by them, , they won't change it for you although it was wet with water inside, bad taste and it's hard like stone. Furthermore, the price is expensive compared to market prices.
JJaycee JjHi . Newly open hotel , i think this one also room for rent monthly . Need to call staff when arriving and got public parking as well. Not a very convenience place but for the price and the cleanliness, is very high recommended. They only provide u soap, so u need to bring your amenities like toothbrush . The towel is for kids size but since I’m travelling w my mom then no issues . Very could and nice place for a short stay. Below at morning time got the nasi lemak viral for rm1, and the green thai tea also very delicious .
MMOHAMMED ARKAN MAJEEDI had a wonderful stay at this central Penang hotel; the lobby was stunning and the room was very clean, complemented by an exceptionally friendly staff member. For future guests, it's worth noting that a thin ceiling and outside work caused some noise, which a little added insulation could fix. The shared bathroom was functional, though it could use a bit more attention to keep the floor dry. We also appreciated how easy it was to get around from this location.
GGuest UserI found it quite good and excellent value for money. The accommodation is right across from Chew Jetty, and the street opposite is packed with delicious food, including durian, char kway teow, seafood, and Mixue (an ice cream/drinks chain). It might be due to the heat, but I found all the iced drinks here to be really tasty. Be aware that at night, you might hear motorcyclists speeding, a common occurrence I've also observed in Kuala Lumpur where I am currently. The location is really good and I found it very convenient. A deposit is required, which will be refunded before check-out. The room was also very spacious. Oh, and a heads-up: remember to bring your own travel adapter. There's a convenience store right next door that's also somewhat of a hardware shop, and they sell adapters for about 7.9 MYR each.
GGuest UserQuite a pleasant Stay Over Here.

WiFi excellent even I stay on 8 floor still connect well, they gave me the room can see the mountain and sea perfect view for me. Price was affordable for everyone I can say, locate was near the bar, restaurant, pasar, sea view as well.
Didn't expect the room like this 👌
JJaeikThe host was friendly to provide midnight check in and room condition was clean and tidy with good air conditioning. And the location was convenient from Queensway mall.
JJess CollinsMy friends and I stayed for 3 nights in a Family room. Room layout was great, perfect for what we needed for 3 friends, two of whom were working remotely while in Penang. Nice view from the window. The bathroom was a good size - looked to be a handicap accessible bathroom - but no hooks for hanging anything, and the shower head couldn't be moved up high enough, so it was awkward. Good temperature and pressure, though. Hallways were run down and dirty looking. We booked this hotel also for the breakfast option as well, but that wasn't great - ”hot” food was not actually kept hot despite being in chafing pans that could very well have been heated. Toaster was broken on the 2nd day so one friend had cold bread with butter (probably margarine). Breakfast was set to run from 7am to 10:30am; we went down at around 9am the first morning. The noodle dish was already run out, and we were told there would be no more. Coffee was good and hot. It was fine but overall disappointing. It was an okay stay but not great, and I'm not sure it was worth the price paid. I dont think I'd stay again unless some improvements were made.
