this hotel is good overall, but when we arrived, they told us that we didn't have a booking with them and they couldn't locate our booking and details. the room was also said to be taken, and they are waiting for a cancellation in order to get our room. There is a lot of confusion among staff. some visitors were told to leave their rooms once they have entered. we waiting 1 hr 30 min to get our room. so check in was at 4.30pm. parking was also very inconvenient, as we had to park at the basement, which was impossible to even get one if you came into the hotel late and a T&G card was also needed to get validated before leaving the hotel if we wanted a free spot. Room was very spacious and clean. the tea and coffee was hard like its never been changed.

After much thought, I still believe that a well-established five-star hotel is the most reliable choice. This Jen hotel is incredibly close to all the attractions, and you can even walk to the street art murals. There's a decent-sized shopping mall nearby, along with a supermarket and Starbucks. Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the service is still excellent. The breakfast, in particular, offers a great variety, including freshly stir-fried kway teow and freshly cooked noodle soup. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Penang!

The hotel's location is fantastic! Right outside, there's a night market with the famous Stir-fried Kway Teow Grandpa's stall, which always has a queue. It's also super close to other attractions. They have a gym and a swimming pool. We didn't book breakfast, so we just grabbed a bite at a place right outside the hotel.

It was a great stay. The room was spacious and clean. Free parking and the welcome drink were a nice bonus. The only downside was that the air conditioner was a little noisy, and the shower water temperature was a bit inconsistent, sometimes hot and sometimes cold. However, the water pressure was really good. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would still recommend this hotel.

Overall, it's pretty good and offers good value for money. Transportation: You can take a taxi to the Old Town or walk for 20 minutes. The hotel's area is relatively quiet and tidy. As an aside, I struggled with the accommodation area for a long time before my trip. I'm fine with the OZO area, but if I were to go again, I personally would prefer the Gurney Bay area. The atmosphere and cleanliness are much better there. Many parts of the Old Town are too old and chaotic. Cleanliness was satisfactory, even exceeding expectations. For service, I didn't encounter any Mandarin-speaking staff, but everyone was very friendly. Facilities: The rooftop pool has an excellent view directly facing the sea. It was wonderful to relax there every day. The breakfast restaurant also has a good view, and while the variety isn't huge, it's sufficient. In-room facilities are standard for a business hotel. I actually found it very convenient to get water from the water dispenser on my floor. There are two downsides: 1. The towels are very old and should be replaced; I used my own the entire time. 2. For some unknown reason, the Wi-Fi was extremely poor during my stay. My World Cup viewing corner's internet TV was almost unusable due to buffering. For tourists, poor internet is a significant issue.

The place it self was great, the cleanliness was very good and the service was excellent. The only downside we had was the neighbours upstairs kept making loud noises through out our stay, however credit to the agents they replied back to us promptly when we brought this up and had notified their landlord. Unfortunately this didn’t still resolve the loud noises. The building it self is nice, the pool is clean and well maintained, however the building does have a lot of regulations in place which we thought was quite excessive. Other than these minor issues we had a great time and the apartment is well kept.

The staff were friendly, polite, and generally helpful throughout our stay. The location is also a strong point, with plenty of restaurants and shopping malls nearby, and the Clan Jetties are within walking distance. Unfortunately, the check-in experience left much to be desired. Before arriving, I had emailed the hotel to enquire about an early check-in as we were travelling with elderly family members. I fully understood that this might not be possible due to the peak holiday season, which was perfectly reasonable. Upon arriving around 11am, we were advised to return after 1pm. We came back shortly after 2pm but were informed that our rooms were still not ready. We were prepared to wait until the official check-in time of 3pm, but even then, the rooms were unavailable. We were repeatedly told ”10 more minutes”, only for those 10 minutes to become 30 minutes and then even longer. In the end, we did not receive our rooms until approximately 3:40pm. What made the situation particularly frustrating was seeing guests who arrived after us being checked in ahead of us. The explanation given was that a supervisor needed to inspect the rooms before they could be released. While delays can happen, clearer communication and realistic timelines would have been far more appreciated than being repeatedly asked to wait another 10 minutes. To make matters worse, one of our rooms had pillows and blankets with an unpleasant odour, which raised questions about the room readiness that had caused such a lengthy delay. For guests driving, parking may be challenging as there are only a limited number of parallel parking spaces available. Even for those arriving by taxi or private hire, the drop-off and pick-up process can be somewhat inconvenient. There is also a Heritage Fee payable upon check-in, which was acceptable and clearly communicated. Complimentary coffee and biscuits are available, and water dispensers are conveniently located near the lifts, although bottled water is not provided in the rooms. The check-out process was also slightly unusual, as guests are required to wait for staff confirmation before leaving. Overall, the stay was comfortable and the location was convenient. However, I value hotels that provide a smooth and efficient check-in experience. Delays are understandable, especially during busy periods, but guests deserve honest communication and accurate updates rather than repeated promises of ”10 more minutes.” With better management of the arrival experience, this would have been a much more enjoyable stay.

Overall, the rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, with balconies offering views of both sunrise and sunset. I booked two rooms; my friend's room had a sunrise view, while mine had a sunset view. My first booking was on a weekend, and the breakfast experience wasn't great due to the large number of guests – many items ran out before they could be refilled. However, for my second stay, I chose a weekday (Monday to Friday), and the experience was much better. I booked for five consecutive days, and the hotel gave me two complimentary breakfast vouchers. The breakfast selection was quite rich, and the staff were patient and could communicate in both Mandarin and English. The rooms also had some smart features, which is quite good for the local area. I had staff clean my room daily, and overall, I'd give it a 9 out of 10. The cleaning staff were very responsible, but perhaps the cleanliness standards didn't quite meet our personal expectations.

I had a really pleasant stay at this new hotel. The location is very convenient, and I was impressed by their high-tech automated parking system. It was a unique and interesting experience to use such an advanced parking facility. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. One thing I really want to highlight is the shower water pressure. Whenever I stay at a hotel, one of the first things I look for is whether the shower water is strong enough. Many hotels I have stayed at have weak water pressure, but this hotel really surprised me. The water flow was powerful and comfortable, making the shower experience very enjoyable. Overall, this is one of the most comfortable hotel stays I’ve had. The modern facilities, friendly service, and excellent shower experience made my stay memorable. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel location. The fully equipped kitchen, ironing board with iron, and hairdryer are all available. If you need anything, you can contact staff via WhatsApp, and it will be delivered quickly. The room was clean and spacious. Nice pool and jacuzzi, plus a well-equipped gym. Upon check-in, we were asked for a 200 RM refundable deposit, but only in cash. We had a pleasant stay.
