Edinburgh Hotels with balcony

This hotel boasts the best location in Edinburgh, very close to the Old Town and super convenient for visiting several attractions. The highlight, though, is definitely the breakfast! Great views, and they even serve champagne, which really brightens up your morning. The entire minibar is complimentary and well-stocked. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to the UK.

The hotel is perfectly situated right on the Royal Mile – the location is absolutely superb! It's just an 8-minute walk from the train station. Be aware that there are some steps along the route, which might be a bit of a workout if you're carrying heavy suitcases. It's a very family-friendly hotel. The bedroom has a large bed, and the living room sofa converts into a double bed, comfortably accommodating two adults and two children. Our room was incredibly clean, newly renovated, and surprisingly quiet. Even though the Royal Mile is bustling with street performers and activities, we couldn't hear any noise from our room at all. Having amenities like a washing machine and oven in the room was a huge plus. Just a note: toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers aren't provided as standard. We brought our own dental kit, so we only needed to ask the front desk for slippers. Breakfast is served à la carte; you order what you like, and top-ups are available if you're still hungry. Edinburgh Castle is a mere 5-minute walk to the right from the hotel's entrance, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby – incredibly convenient!

The apartment is half an hour's drive from the city center, but there is a bus downstairs to the city center, which is quite convenient. The apartment is fully equipped, there are cooking tools, and the room is large. However, the water pressure in the toilet of the high-rise unit (5th floor) is insufficient. The unit is old and uses a water storage hot water stove. If many people take a shower, you need to wait for a while. Self check in, check out, hand in information and £100 deposit will be provided after the mailbox password lock key. Pay the deposit with credit card, the money will be returned 5 to 10 days after check out, but if you do not use the Bank of England account, you do not know that the bank will not charge a handling fee.

Great location, right by the castle and attractions. It's also very close to museums and popular photo spots. There's a highly-rated breakfast place downstairs, and Victoria Street has many pubs frequented by locals. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Everything was perfect Great location Health is very good No seasoning But the kitchen is perfect The bed is not 1.8 meters, the big bed has two 1.4 meters, and the small bed has 1.2 meters, which makes six of our family unable to sleep in the bedroom, and someone can sleep in the living room. Ctrip communicated in time. Special attention: This hotel is an agent and not directly connected by Trip.com. It will send an email at one or two in the afternoon saying that you need to provide a credit card information payment deposit, otherwise you will not be checked in. The hotel can communicate by email or phone, and needs a little English foundation

Everything about this hotel is great, except for the James room type, which I wouldn't recommend. There's currently a large construction site right in front of the James building, so you'll be woken up by construction noise every morning at 7 am. The staff at the front desk, concierge, and breakfast restaurant are all very warm and welcoming. Rooming, in particular, and a Chinese girl at the breakfast restaurant were absolutely fantastic. Housekeeping is very professional and keeps the rooms spotless every day.

The service was great as soon as you entered the store! During the Chinese New Year, I also gave small gifts and cards, but the greetings on the cards were not in Chinese! The room I booked was relatively small, but it was enough for me. The heating was not enough and not bad. The heating of the room and the exhaust fan of the toilet are noisy! For some friends, the bathtub in this hotel is necessary and quite large. Toiletries are from Sudan. Breakfast is not too many, but very delicious! The surrounding attractions can be reached in about 17-20 minutes, Calton Hill is about 29 minutes, and Edinburgh Railway Station Waverley is 21 minutes.

Location is excellent, walkable to all the tourist spots.I literally walked to all the places without taking bus ride at all. I booked for studio suite, it has kitchen in it, equipped with microwave, electrical stove, dishwasher and washing machine!! It has more than everything you need in the room. There is Tesco express just 2 mins walk from the hotel. Super convenient! The only minor down side is house keeping not provided everyday , but u still can request the amenities or coffee refill if you need to. But this doesn’t bother me at all. I highly recommend to traveller who wish to do small cooking during the trip to stay here. It worth for the price u pay.

Wonderful location with an adorable room. I also bought a some food for a pack lunch for a tour the next day but there wasn’t a fridge and the staff was super helpful by keeping the food in a fridge until the morning for me.

The hostel is clean and close to the Meadows. Good experience overall, the dining room is cute. Public area gets cleaned regularly, the bed was comfortable. The only thing I would say is that some bathrooms don’t have mirrors, would be good to have.
