As for the service, it wasn't as outstanding as typical Asian hotels. I had to manually pull out the door next to the Concierge room, and the Asian female staff member there didn't budge at all; this attention to detail was quite poor."

"The room was smaller than it appeared in the photos, which was a bit disappointing. I was also surprised that there was no proper blanket on the bed. There was an old, thick blanket in the closet, but since it was summer, it wasn't practical to use. I ended up sleeping with the air conditioning on and no blanket at all. The room didn't have a refrigerator, and no complimentary water was provided, which would have been a nice touch. Another downside was that the hotel rooms were accessed via the garage elevator, which wasn't a very pleasant experience, especially at night. On the positive side, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the location of the hotel itself is good."

"The hotel is right in the heart of Barcelona, just 200-400m from Casa Milà and Casa Batlló – literally a street away. Sagrada Familia is a bit further but still a pleasant 15-minute walk (about 1.2km). The area around the hotel is fantastic, packed with delicious restaurants and luxury shops. The hotel is on a secondary one-way street, so it's not too noisy. Just a heads-up, the bar on the second floor can have some bass noise from music on weekends. For its size, the hotel facilities are surprisingly complete and exceeded my expectations. Upon check-in, I received a welcome card for a complimentary drink (including alcoholic options) at the first-floor bar. When I went, they generously poured me what felt like two glasses of wine! The room felt a bit dim, likely a design choice to reduce lighting for ambiance, but it was still a bit dark. The bedding was decent – comfortable, but a little thin. The hotel breakfast was simple but professionally done, and I'd give full marks for the pleasant dining environment and service. The only downside was my room being near the elevator. It was only noisy in the mornings, but also, one night around 4 AM, there was a vacuum cleaner-like sound coming from next door or outside my room that lasted for over half an hour. It seemed to stop after staff arrived."

"We checked in quite late on the first day, and the front desk gentleman, perhaps noticing we were staying for 7 nights, kindly upgraded us to a club room. It was an amazing experience waking up to a direct view of the Sagrada Familia, and just around the corner, you could see the Mediterranean Sea – it really brightened my day! The room was spacious, and so was the bathroom. For breakfast, there was a buffet, plus a à la carte menu with various egg preparations, all beautifully presented and delicious. Getting around was easy, as there were always taxis lined up right outside the hotel. All in all, besides the price, I have no complaints!"
