The room is really nice, with a great view outside the window, perfect for aviation enthusiasts. The hotel's location is quite close to several plane spotting locations, just a 10-15 minute walk. There are also two subway stations nearby, making it very convenient to get to both the city center and the outskirts. The front desk staff were very welcoming upon check-in. Breakfast is downstairs, and the selection is quite rich; the satay noodles are especially delicious! The hotel's hygiene is excellent; the bedding and everything else are very clean. The cleaning staff are also very thorough, tidying up promptly every day. The hotel also has a garden, tennis court, swimming pool, and gym, so it's quite well-equipped with amenities. I highly recommend this hotel!

The room was very spacious, and the little decorative items inside were thoughtfully designed. Daily necessities were fully provided. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. When I ordered food delivery, a robot helped deliver it directly to my room. The outdoor environment was quiet and not noisy at all. The bed was large and very comfortable to sleep in. There was also a free shuttle bus to the airport that could be reserved in advance, which was very convenient.

Checked in on May 3rd, and the price was significantly higher than usual (nearly double). However, having direct access to the beach anytime makes it a great choice for families with kids. One of the boys in our group played at Dreamland Island for 3 hours, which was a nice break for the adults. The breakfast was quite rich, and the paid lunch buffet was also good. The room was clean and tidy, and we got an automatic upgrade to a sea-view room with a beautiful view.

As a born and bred Xiamen native, I brought my boyfriend to stay at the Paragon Hotel and Resort, and the experience far exceeded our expectations.

As soon as our car pulled up, the doorman quickly came over to open the door and help with our luggage. His movements were swift and steady, creating an excellent first impression. During check-in, the front desk proactively upgraded our room, which offered a more expansive view. The decor was simple yet grand, incorporating Fujianese elements, making for a very comfortable stay.

The room was fully equipped, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a solid night's sleep. The service was always available, prompt, and unobtrusive – attention to detail was evident everywhere.

Upon check-out, we received a thoughtful little gift from the hotel: some childhood snacks and a special local drink, which was a lovely touch. As a landmark hotel in the area, the Paragon Hotel and Resort excels in both its facilities and service. It will definitely be my top choice for entertaining friends or for a short personal stay in the future ❤️

Overall, it was pretty good. The room was clean, and check-in/check-out was efficient. A really nice perk is that you get a full 24 hours from when you check in, so there's no rush to leave if you arrive in the afternoon. There's also a subway station nearby, which makes getting around very convenient.

I'm quite sensitive to room odors, so my room was changed to Ruihai. Since they're under the same management, the bill was still processed under XiHai, so I'm leaving my review here.

The most disappointing aspect was the attitude of some of the shuttle bus drivers. We asked if he could take us for a quick spin around the area, as we thought it was beautiful. His response was a blunt 'No.' That was it, no explanation. Wouldn't a standard service industry reply be something like, 'I apologize, but we don't currently offer that service. Due to the high number of guests, we are only providing point-to-point transfers at the moment'? He also responded to walkie-talkie messages impatiently. Can you please not take your frustrations out on guests? You're at work!

Then there were bugs in the room... and when I moved the sofa, there was trash underneath it... I'm not sure what else to say...

The hotel is super pretty and I absolutely loved the bathtub – such a nice way to relax after a long day. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast spread was good with a wide variety of food options to choose from.

However, the location is quite far from most attractions and shopping districts. During peak hours, it can take more than an hour to get to the shopping areas, which is a bit inconvenient.

One disappointing experience was during breakfast. I came with my 16-year-old sister. I went down early while she was still sleeping, and later went back to bring her along. But the staff did not allow me to enter again unless I paid, even though I wasn’t planning to eat again. I felt this was quite inflexible and disappointing.
Overall, the hotel is beautiful, but the location and service experience could definitely be improved.

We had a very pleasant stay and truly appreciated the thoughtful room arrangement with toy, which made our little one feel welcomed right away.

The lunch buffet at the restaurant was excellent, offering good quality and variety. The airport shuttle service provided by the hotel was extremely convenient and made our travel much easier.

Special thanks to the reception staff Anna (Lim Anna) for her kind assistance with a domestic phone call using her own mobile phone. Her willingness to help was deeply appreciated and reflected genuine care for guests.

Overall, a comfortable and considerate experience. Thank you to the team for the warm hospitality.

It was my first time to travel to Xiamen. Huang Zhiwei, the hotel receptionist, was enthusiastic and greeted us with a smile. He accompanied us throughout the check-in process, helped with the luggage, and accompanied us to the room. During the period, he enthusiastically explained the hotel check-in knowledge and travel guide, which made us feel like home. The scenery inside the hotel is super beautiful, there are many play facilities, and the children had a lot of fun. The room is very large. The living experience is full. The lobby is just outside the sea and beach, an excellent parent-child travel experience. If you come to Xiamen again, this parent-child hotel is the best choice🌸🌸🌸

The best decision for the 2026 Chinese New Year! Due to changes in our holiday schedule, we only had three days. I checked Ctrip, and Fuzhou's flight prices hadn't increased. We wanted somewhere with a beach and warm weather, and the Haiyingwan Hotel met all our needs. Perfect for a seaside stroll with the kids!

The breakfast was absolutely amazing – they had Fuzhou fish balls and 'guo bian' (local rice-flour soup), plus a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. We stayed in Building 2, and the ocean was just a three-minute walk away. During low tide, the kids were so engrossed in collecting shells they didn't want to leave. The sand was fine and soft; it was incredibly relaxing, especially if you just want to entertain kids and seniors. Even my 73-year-old mother loved it.

The hotel grounds are like a park. For kids who love planes, this is a treat! I heard it's the only seaside airport, so you can watch planes to your heart's content. It's not noisy at night either; with the windows closed, you can barely hear anything.

**Amenities:** Very child-friendly, everything you need is there.
**Hygiene:** Excellent.
**Environment:** A coastal garden.
**Service:** Excellent.
**2-3 Person Family Package:** Truly too much food, I suggest they make it available for lunch as well in the future.
**Fuzhou Airport Shuttle:** Departs every 30 minutes, always ready to go.
**Seaside Mini Train:** Absolutely a favorite for little ones.

The hotel has been renovated for a while, but thankfully it's still clean and quiet. It's very close to Hongqiao Terminal 1, but quite a distance from Terminal 2, about 5 kilometers, which is around a 20+ RMB taxi ride. There are no supermarkets or restaurants around the hotel. When checking out, the front desk arranged a complimentary airport drop-off, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.
