A great 4 star hotel just 900 meters (about a 10 minute drive) from Xiamen T4 and T5 airports.

⭐️Positive aspects: 

Probably the biggest win is their airport shuttle service.  They have a nice new Buick van (that is bright purple 🟪- so it is pretty hard to miss) and the van can be there within 10 minutes of when you call the hotel or message them from baggage claim.  So the transportation is well organized and very efficient.  Mr. Li the van driver was very sweet and kind.
  
The hotel room was nice and big and has very cozy carpet and a nice soft bed with good linens. Shower is hot and amenities in the room are thoughtful, including white tea scented 🫖 soaps and shampoo. 

The breakfast, service, and furnishings are comparable to other 4 star chains in China like Holiday Inn or Hampton by Hilton or Lavande. 

Breakfast has a nice spread but mostly Chinese and not so western.  That said, the food they do provide is high quality and the noodles are great and the coffee is real. I enjoyed the breakfast. 

⭐️A few negative points:
I liked the art theme in the hotel and they pull it off well. Each room is themed around a famous painting and I was in the Salvador Dali’s “melting clocks” ⏰ 

The only thing I can complain about is there are moments when the art feels a little cheesy.  For instance- the little ash trays at the elevator with sand in them have kid’s decorations that feel a bit more like kids’ zone stuff than professional artwork.  Also the shower 🚿 doors are red glass and that felt like more of a playful Kindergarten space than something matching Salvador Dali.  Not a deal breaker but an observation.  This kind of art theme can be difficult to pull off in China 🇨🇳. 

The only other small negative is there is some wear on some of the spaces and walls.  At the front desk counter I noticed some old looking and chipped areas of the desk.  

Overall a great choice next to the airport.  I would stay here again.

Extremely satisfied! I specifically brought my plane-enthusiast son to Xiamen Gaoqi Airport to watch planes, making it our farewell trip to the airport. After getting off the plane, it took us about ten minutes to walk to the hotel (as we weren't familiar with the area), and it's truly close to the runway! My son even said it's closer than the Aviator Hotel at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. The front desk ladies were all very kind and lovely, and they specifically gave us a high-floor view room on the 11th floor (out of 12). My son was so excited when he entered the room and didn't sleep until 1:30 AM, still busy taking photos. The next morning, we went to a nearby plane spotting point. Xiamen's thoughtful design really deserves praise; it fulfills the wishes of everyone who loves taking pictures and plane enthusiasts, and it's comfortable and safe! I must specially mention that we thought breakfast ended at 10 AM, so we went down late, past 9:30 AM. We originally thought we couldn't eat, but a very enthusiastic and handsome waiter told us to quickly grab some food, so we were able to eat our fill before happily heading out to watch planes. Every staff member at the hotel was excellent; the cleaning auntie would proactively greet us, the shuttle bus driver kindly helped me find food delivery, and the front desk ladies and gentlemen helped me receive and locate parcels, and even booked a driver to the airport for us. Even though the kids were reluctant to leave after taking so many plane pictures, no one rushed us to check out. I'm very grateful that Hualuxe Hotel provided such a solid base camp for our children's plane-spotting trip. The only minor drawback was the lack of a delivery robot, but there are delivery lockers downstairs, and the elevators don't take long to arrive, so ordering takeout here is super convenient! Highly recommend for little plane enthusiasts to visit!

The front desk staff, both the guys and the girls, are incredibly good-looking!

Facilities: Very comprehensive and great for families. There's a 'Children's Dream Island,' a gym, and a heated indoor pool.

Hygiene: Very clean. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, the environment is lovely, and there's even a special dining area for kids.

Service: Very attentive. We received welcome fruits. The auntie on the 17th floor was especially kind, proactively offering us water (unlike other hotels where you have to constantly ask) and giving small toys to our baby. You can reach Sunrise Beach directly from the hotel, and they offer free rental of sand-digging tools (with a 38 RMB deposit). If your flight is after 4 PM, they can help you with direct check-in and baggage drop-off (it's recommended to do this a day in advance, or before 11 AM on the day of departure).

The service provided by Xiao Yin at the front desk is very considerate. I brought my baby to Xiamen. The hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool and a small animal park for my child to play. The bed in the room is large, clean and tidy, and comfortable. The hotel also has children's slippers and children's toothbrushes. It is very suitable for bringing children. I will recommend it to friends who bring their children to Xiamen.

Traveling with a child, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded our room to a super-sized bed room with two beds put together. The room was excellent, with great natural light and ventilation. The layout was very practical, with the sink, shower, and toilet all separate. All the toiletries were provided, offering great value for money. The only downside was the lack of good restaurants nearby.

Booked an open-plan suite, and the front desk upgraded us to an Executive Suite. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered incredible views, and the living room and bedroom were well-separated. Plus, having two toilets was really convenient, especially for business接待 (business entertaining). We were traveling with two kids, which can be a bit inconvenient, but the hotel went above and beyond to meet all our needs, providing a crib, low pillows, and children's toiletries. 

We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel, and the buffet lunch was much better than what I remembered from a few years ago. While the variety wasn't extensive, everything they had was excellent, and the hot dishes tasted great. Breakfast had a good selection of Southern Fujian specialties: mianxian糊 (vermicelli paste), peanut soup, and satay noodles were all available.

Overall, our stay was very comfortable and pleasant.

Cleanliness: Good
Environment: Right inside the airport, a few minutes' walk. The greenery and environment should be very nice, but I woke up late after staying overnight and didn't see anything.
Service: The gentleman at the front desk was excellent. He alleviated my anxiety about missing my flight when I missed the shuttle and helped my mother with her luggage into a taxi. When we checked in at night, he thoughtfully provided breakfast, which isn't easy to get early in the morning the next day.

Both the hotel and Airport Baixiang Media are subordinate and equal-level enterprises of Xiamen Airport, making them trustworthy.

Drawbacks: The phone operators and front desk staff could use more training. The hotel actually has designated parking spots with signs at Airport Gate 6, but the staff didn't mention it, perhaps because they haven't seen it themselves at the airport. This would give customers more confidence in finding a spot. It's also quite difficult to reach the driver by phone, probably because many people are calling. When boarding, it would be best if staff could maintain order, perhaps by issuing numbers. People were haphazardly loading luggage and getting on, and then some had to get off because it was full. Also, it would be better if the signs clearly indicated where to get off for each stop. There are 3 stops, and the stop names don't perfectly match the room/hotel names, which makes it confusing, so you have to ask the driver each time.

This holiday, I brought my family to stay at the Fuzhou Haiyingwan Baixiang Resort, and it was truly a delightful and memorable experience. The hotel is located on the Changle coastline, very close to the airport, and offers a 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle service. For families traveling with children like us, it was incredibly convenient and stress-free!

The hotel's environment is absolutely beautiful, truly embodying the phrase ”facing the sea, with spring blossoms.” The garden design is unique, with swaying palm trees. Opening the window reveals a spectacular sea view. Strolling along the seaside boardwalk in the evening, with the sea breeze and the sound of the waves, was incredibly relaxing. The beach is right outside, where the kids had a blast catching crabs, digging in the sand, and playing in the waves.

The hotel breakfast was very rich, with a wide variety of fresh ingredients, and the taste was excellent. I especially want to thank Pudding for her incredibly attentive service. After we checked in, she meticulously helped us arrange the complimentary airport drop-off service, ensuring a seamless transition once the time was confirmed. It was fantastic.

In summary, whether it's the environment, facilities, or service, Haiyingwan Baixiang Resort left us with an excellent impression. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, and family-friendly or couple-friendly getaway near Fuzhou! We will definitely come back again if we have the chance!

**Amenities**: Very complete. There's a safe, a fridge, a scale, hot and cold water in the sink are easy to control, and even an old-fashioned telephone like the one in 'Lurk' – what an experience!

**Cleanliness**: Very clean.

**Service**: Impeccable. We got a free room upgrade and complimentary airport transfer, and they proactively helped with our luggage 🧳. Absolutely fantastic!!!
