The room is big and clean. The service staff took the initiative to upgrade our room. The service attitude is good. The bathroom is spacious, the shower water is strong, the location is very convenient, and it is very quiet at night. I stayed for one night and the experience was great. It was a good choice.

ivyzlhReally loved it! We got an early check-in and a room upgrade, and the room was huge! Both the kids and adults enjoyed it. I noticed a lot of people from Shanghai choose this place. The location is excellent; it's diagonally opposite Northeast Normal University, and just a 10-minute walk to Guilin Road. The subway station is right across the street downstairs, super convenient! The service attitude was also great!

Loud_SpeakerPros:
- Great location with access to many small convenience stores and restaurants around
- Hotel is housed within one of the highest building in Changchun
- Breakfast selection was great and service of staff there was superb
- Room assigned was on 33rd floor with great view of the city
- Room size was big despite having a small window space
- Futuristic and minimalist hotel with robot to send food to your door (deliveries)
- About 10 mins walk to “The Hill”/“Wanda Shopping Mall” and Tram 54
Cons:
- Not easy to find the exact location in Didi App as it’s very new and there are a few hotels of the same name around the area
- Was told that they have disabled the aircond (Cold air) during winter and it will only blow warm air. With that, we were advised to turn off the aircond and we slept sweating as the temperature was not low enough for a great night sleep
- To maximize space, there wasn’t any proper hanging (wardrobe) area that we can use to hang our winter jackets
Overall (Summary)
- Great hotel for its location and with much local delights around. Service was great with great selection of breakfast. High floor view of city. Just too bad there wasn’t any cooling aircond we could use as the window was tight shut. Great room size for family which is a plus point. Happy to come back again perhaps in the summer next time. Cheers

Jessica YipWe are very happy with our stay. All the staff were very helpful especially our receptionist 小果,she arranged us free transport to airport and late checkout, also offered free use for the mini bar in fridge although we didn't use it but we are very appreciated her her offer. I would also like to mention the duty manager and her team was very helpful too , her and her colleagues helped us to take our laugages to the hotel mini bus, the journey to the airport was fast and smooth and the driver was very polite. There's so much good things I want to mention about including their cleaning team, including the cleaning supervisor and their team member孫娟,they were very attentive, they seen my glasses was on the table and she left me some cleaning wipes for my glasses. Their breakfast was so delicious and so many options too , including my favourite dim sum, the server 刘奎志was very friendly he can communicate with us in English too. The hotel itself is very large and have a fantastic gym and spa , there's also music restaurant and Japanese restaurant too. We will definitely come back to stay in this hotel if we visit Changchun again and definitely recommend this outstanding hotel to everyone!

JilinliyuanMy stay at Lavande Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortably laid out, and the soundproofing was excellent – I couldn't hear any outside noise at all, which made for a very restful sleep. The hotel's location is superb, offering great access to transportation and dining options. It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I'd definitely come back again.

Tujidamowang&xianshengThe hotel lobby is quite clean, consistent with the Hampton by Hilton style. The room is well-equipped with facilities, including a mini-fridge. The breakfast offers a good variety, with both Chinese and Western options, as well as local specialties. The restaurant is quite spacious; it didn't feel crowded when we went for breakfast at 7:30 AM.
We had a small incident during our stay:
We checked in a little after 2:30 PM and went out to explore without going into the room first. When we returned around 9 PM, we found the room to be quite spacious. However, it didn't feel warm when we first entered, and actually got colder the longer we stayed. I turned on the AC for heat and saw the room temperature was 14 degrees Celsius, but the air blowing out didn't feel warm. Then I noticed the curtains kept moving, and realized someone had kindly opened the window for ventilation and left it open until evening. The front desk was quick to resolve the issue. They first sent a space heater, but it didn't really warm up the room. I wasn't satisfied, so I checked the AC again; it only went up 2 degrees in half an hour, so the heating was very slow. Eventually, the front desk moved us to a different room. Although it wasn't as large as the first one, being warm was the most important thing.

Choosing to stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun, was one of the smartest decisions I made during my Chinese New Year trip to Changchun. My experience showed that it offers excellent value for money, in terms of both its facilities and service.
**Location: The Absolute Center of the City**
The hotel's location is truly prime, right next to People's Square. It's incredibly convenient for taxis or ride-sharing services. Downstairs, you'll find the Zhuozhan Shopping Center and Wanda Plaza, so shopping, dining, and catching a movie are all just steps away. What was even more delightful was discovering that just across the street is the former site of the Bank of China's Changchun headquarters from before liberation. For history buffs and photography enthusiasts, you can easily snap some fantastic photos when passing by in the morning or evening.
**Room Experience: Spotless and Cozy**
Staying during Chinese New Year, the room was decorated with a lovely festive atmosphere. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and they even offered a choice of pillows, which meant even someone like me, who struggles with sleeping in new beds, had a great night's sleep.
Shangri-La's renowned 'hospitality' was fully evident here. From the concierge proactively helping with luggage and guiding me to the front desk, to the warm towels and tea offered by the front desk staff during check-in, every detail exuded warmth. I asked a lobby staff member about local dining recommendations, and she not only described the dining environment and approximate distance in detail but also thoughtfully reminded us of the convenience of getting around: a central hub for exploring attractions.
Using the hotel as our base, our itinerary for the past few days was incredibly smooth: a taxi ride to Nanhu Park, Changchun Zoological and Botanical Garden, Ice and Snow World, and Ocean Fantasy Park were all within a reasonable distance. After a day of exploring, returning to the hotel meant easy access to the bustling commercial area downstairs for food and shopping.
If you're planning a trip to Changchun, especially in winter when you want both comfort and convenience, the Shangri-La Changchun is an choice you won't regret. It's more than just a place to sleep; it's the perfect base to truly experience the charm of this city. Clean, welcoming, and well-located – I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Changchun.

Guest UserI was very satisfied with my stay. The room was spacious and well-ventilated. The front desk staff were polite and communicative. The breakfast was plentiful, and I loved that a robot delivered my takeout directly to the room! The housekeeping staff were attentive and proactive in asking if I needed anything. The hotel's location is excellent. I accidentally left a charger when I checked out, but when I called, they found it within minutes and immediately arranged for it to be mailed back to me. It arrived the very next day! I'm truly grateful for their excellent service.
