Excellent location! It's just across from the Hakata Exit of Hakata Station, visible as soon as you cross the street. The hotel offers direct elevator access to the subway via its B1 level. The rooms are spacious enough to fully open two 26-inch suitcases. The Hakata Underground Mall, with its array of supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants, makes shopping and dining incredibly convenient, even on rainy days. I'll definitely stay here again next time; it's simply too convenient! A taxi to and from the airport takes only 15 minutes. The hotel's front desk and concierge service are also very helpful with calling taxis. And they offer complimentary luggage storage.

This was my first time in Fukuoka, and a friend recommended this hotel. It's located diagonally opposite Hakata Station, and catching a taxi from the airport was incredibly easy. Although the hotel is a bit older, it definitely feels like a grand, classic establishment. Crucially, the rooms are quite spacious, especially for Japan. The hotel service was also excellent; staff helped me with my luggage all the way. There's a direct passage from the hotel's lower level straight to Hakata Station. Plus, there's a rather large 7-Eleven right downstairs and a popular bakery nearby. Overall, it's incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around.

The female staff member at the front desk who spoke Chinese was very kind. We had an accommodation tax to pay upon checkout. Also, a tall male staff member was incredibly thoughtful during checkout; he noticed us packing our luggage, brought us two bags, and asked if we needed them.

Old japanese hotel with good maintenance and housekeeping.

The hotel is incredibly convenient, just a two-minute walk from Hakata Station's West Exit and right next to Hankyu Department Store. Tenjin is easily reachable by subway or bus, and the subway also offers direct access to Ohori Park and Fukuoka Art Museum. Check-in was swift, and the service was decent. My only complaint is that the 'single luxury room' was much smaller than expected. It felt cramped even for one person, and frankly, couldn't have been any smaller. What's more, it wasn't cheap either.

You can tell the hotel was built some time ago judging from its style, but this has not compromised its service and cleanliness. It is very well managed, the tub is spotless and the staff members are all helpful and professional. They also offer two different styles of breakfast for you to choose from, and I am more than satisfied. Location-wise, it is right across Hakata station which connects you to pretty much everywhere in Fukuoka.

Love the breakfast and the hospitality! All staff are nice and polite. the location is great too if you know how to walk through the connecting tunnel underground directed to the main station.

Close to train station, especially enjoy breakfast buffet with good choices. It provides mix fruits juice , and vegetables juice .

The location it just less than 5 minute from Hakata station . It have Shinkansen line too . And if you wanna rent car for day trips or out of Fukuoka, it is very convenient too . The station come with few shopping malls connecting together and if you are not familiar you will get lost ! Haha but nothing to worry about it as long you follow the sign board , and food paradise eat whatever you like and craving for . Walking back in winter weather was amazing cool breeze! The hotel was quiet too , and you seldom will see anyone while in the hotel . Staff are friendly , attentive approachable. You can enjoy bath tub to release the tiredness when you have walk too too much after your sightseeing. To international airport it just 10 min by cab , around $1850 Yen , if you do not want to drag your luggage after your full full shopping. Happy staying 👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I stayed for four nights and appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the thoughtful, responsive staff. However, the gym was under renovation, and the kids in the neighboring room were constantly noisy, which made it hard to relax. It’s a shame, because the service was excellent otherwise.

Very classy and comfortable hotel. Building quality was excellent. The service is definitely a highlight and there was a concierge to help with your needs such as booking of restaurant if you do not speak Japanese. The hotel was built back in 1989 but it was so well maintained! Everything is classic. Parking is convenient as you only pay 1500 yen (in this central location right next to Hakata station) for two days one night. You can drive out before 2400 on the checkout day. Will come back when visiting Fukuoka next time!

Pretty good service, you can drop your luggage there at the morning and someone will deliver to your room later.
