Posted on Jul 17, 2026|Deluxe Room with 2 Queen Size Beds, Heritage View
Anonymous UserMy last stay here was in winter and it was great, but this time the air conditioning in the room was terrible. Even on the lowest setting, the room was still hot and stuffy. I had to use a fan all night to cool down and couldn't get a good rest for three consecutive days. Other amenities and services were decent, but the AC issue significantly lowered my comfort level. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here in the summer.

FlaxhThe hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Susukino subway station and very close to Tanukikoji Shopping Street. The room was impeccable as it's a new hotel. The breakfast tasted good, but the selection of dishes was a bit limited. There are three Lawson convenience stores right next to the hotel, which was very convenient for buying things.

Guest UserThis hotel is in a great location in central Sapporo, just opposite the Old Red Brick Government Building. Daimaru is only a 10-minute walk away, while Tanukikoji Shopping Street (Susukino) is around 15–20 minutes away on foot. You can walk directly between Odori Park and Susukino. Useful facilities include private parking, a laundry room, and a microwave for heating food. We had a pleasant and convenient stay here.

lxxzt3The room was quite spacious, but the bathroom counter was too low. At 185cm, I had to bend over significantly just to wash my face. You can tell it's an older, established hotel, and the facilities are still quite convenient. The front desk wasn't particularly warm, and the service was just average. Also, they didn't provide any extra bottled water, which I found really unacceptable.

Pearlyn TangGreat stay of family of 4. Room consider big in Japan. Location ia great as near to susukino/Tanukikoki/Park. And stay during the Hokkaido Shrine festive, happening near the hotel. Room overall is clean but toilet with a stale smell.
If visit Sapporo, will stay here again. Thanks

Jeab.thThe hotel has a very convenient location, with easy access to shopping areas, restaurants, and public transportation. The staff members were friendly, helpful, and provided good service throughout the stay. The room size was not very large, but it was still acceptable and comfortable enough for a short stay. However, the breakfast was somewhat disappointing, as the variety and overall quality were not particularly impressive. Overall, it is still a good option for travelers who prioritize location and convenience.

Maria Sigrid JimenezI almost gave it a perfect score - gave location only a 4 because there is no subway station nearby. But there is a bus stop for both local buses and the airport limousine. The hotel has a vintage feel but it was clean and the service was really superb. We were given a comfortable room for the three of us.
Breakfast options were the same everyday except for the soup. It would have been nice if there was a variety for the fruits and desserts.

xxxOSCAI stayed here for four nights during the Snow Festival.
The location is near the main street of Susukino and very convenient.
However, I found the hotel's operations lacking, as the reception was often unattended in the mornings.
The twin room was quite cramped for two people, making it difficult to pack and unpack.
With only three laundry machines (one of which was broken), the facilities felt insufficient for the size of the hotel.
While the breakfast had a good variety and didn't get boring, don't set your expectations too high for the 'signature' seafood bowls

Anonymous UserThere's a free shuttle bus service from JR Station, I took the 13:00 bus and arrived at the hotel at 13:45. The staff kindly allowed me to check in early, which was really nice. They have a water park and large onsen facilities. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious; even though the variety wasn't huge, the food quality was consistently good. The Chateraise desserts and ice cream bars were especially tasty! On the day I checked in, there were Japanese, Hong Kong, *********, Korean tour groups, and even a Japanese school group. Although there were a lot of people, the hotel grounds are extensive, and the buffet items were refilled very quickly both morning and evening.
The hotel has a classic feel, but everything is very well-maintained. The most traditional thing was that the air conditioning in the room was pre-set to 25 degrees Celsius, and the windows couldn't be opened. Given the current weather, it was a bit stuffy...
