Room Condition: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Restaurant: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Facilities: ⭐⭐⭐ Hotel Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Staff Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel doesn't have a coin laundry on-site; there's one about 500 meters away, so be prepared for a short walk. On the bright side, a Seven-Eleven convenience store is conveniently located right near the hotel entrance. The rooms themselves are quite spacious and comfortable. Do note there's no clock or TV, which makes for an incredibly quiet stay. While there are hot spring facilities, they are gender-separated, and there are no private onsen baths. This is something to keep in mind. Finally, if you have a car, you'll be perfectly fine. If you arrive without one, the hotel offers a pick-up service, so there's no need to worry. Additionally, a bus stop right by the hotel entrance makes getting to tourist attractions easy. Just remember to check the bus schedule.

I first stayed here last year and absolutely loved the ambiance, so I decided to return again this time. The peaceful surroundings allowed me to truly unwind, and I felt completely relaxed, both mentally and physically. I will certainly choose to stay here again on my next trip to Hakone.

This charming inn is a hidden gem nestled in the forest, just a stone's throw from the Hakone Garasu no Mori Museum. Surrounded by nature, it was a true luxury to experience both the peaceful ambiance at night and the refreshing morning views. I arrived a bit late and unfortunately missed the welcome drink, but it sounds like guests who check in earlier can enjoy it. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary coffee and tea available for guests at the cafe, perfect for a little break. The hot springs were wonderfully relaxing, and the in-room amenities were all thoughtfully chosen and stylish. Every small detail made me feel incredibly glad I chose this place, ensuring a truly relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was absolutely captivating, with so many delicious options it was hard to choose! There was an impressive array of dishes, many of which aren't typically found in everyday meals, making it easy to overindulge. It definitely set a happy tone for the whole day. From my room window, I had a beautiful view of the autumn leaves, which were absolutely stunning. I'd love to visit again in autumn to enjoy the seasonal scenery.

The complimentary shuttle service for nearby locations was a huge help. The breakfast buffet was truly exceptional, boasting a wide and diverse selection that you rarely encounter. We were also extremely satisfied with the tranquil, nature-filled surroundings.

The facilities were spotless, the service was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Soaking in the hot springs both in the evening and in the morning was absolutely superb. It was also wonderful to enjoy sake outdoors while relaxing in hammocks and playing games.

The hotel was very accessible, as we could take a direct bus from Hakone-Yumoto Station without any transfers. I was really looking forward to the Kaiseki dinner at Tawaraishi within the hotel, and it was truly wonderful. I would absolutely love to stay here again.

What an incredible experience and getaway. Such special, humble and warming people that went above and beyond in every way. The amount of extra little touches are countless. The onsen was a delight and rooms so large and relaxing. Coffee was brilliant and selection of desserts a delight too if you want to treat yourself. Just wonderful!

Beautiful resort in the middle of a remote forest area, perfect for relaxation and connecting with nature. The rooms are cosy and clean. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with chefs preparing freshly made dishes right in front of you! We did find a bug in the room but the hotel is in the middle of the nature so we didn't mind really. The onsen was ok but it was not mixed. Note that if you are not arriving by car and you have luggage, the hotel is uphill so better contact the staff in advance so they can arrange a pick up for you.

The hotel's condition doesn’t match the photos you can find online. It is not well maintained, the garden and trees are not taken care of, and the facility is getting old with molds and paint peeling in the rooms. Extremely cheap room speakers, no television, cheap hairdryer, cheap amenities. Not what we are expecting for such a price. I paid 95,000¥ for one night without dinner included. Overpriced.

It was cool and comfortable after the evening. The bath was slightly lukewarm, so I was able to take my time in it. I was happy that they offered free shaved ice and fruit tea after my bath. Free herbal tea and coffee are also available in the evening and morning. The breakfast buffet was very luxurious.
