"I stayed at your hotel one night . Unfortunately, there was no hot water available during the night, which caused significant inconvenience. I understand that the issue was resolved in the morning, but I was unable to use the shower or facilities during that time. I also had difficulty to figure how to call reception, because the room has no phone list and the room phone had no indication on the buttons . After i figured out how to call reception I was advised to let the water run for 10 mins or so and I told them that I did so"

"I was skeptical when I booked this hotel, but was wowed when I checked in. The guy at the front desk (Ryan) was super helpful, patient, and full of smiles. The hotel was super clean starting from the lobby to our room. Our room was spacious and I love everything about the room - clean, comfy bed with extra pillows, clean bathroom. The breakfast had lots of options that suited everyone from cereal to oat, toast, pancake, muffins, yummy cinnamon roll, pork sausage, turkey sausage, and cheese omelet. As a non-pork eater, I love the fact that they had the turkey sausage option. The checkout was seamless. I recommend this hotel."

"This place is a 4-star hotel on Google Maps, but it is extremely, extremely, extremely bad. Be sure to avoid it! I brought an elderly person over 80 years old here. This place has no elevator, the stairs are extremely steep, and the service attitude is very poor. It was really hard for the two of us to get to the second floor from the parking lot with all our luggage. Their parking lot is very small and crowded, and the location is also awkward. You need to park in a circle around the block, and then you have to use a small key to open the door from the back door. The staff passage is very dirty and old, and there are many turns and stairs, which can make you tired. It's still the basement. All the rooms are on the second floor and above, which is especially not suitable for the elderly, pregnant women, and friends with strollers, wheelchairs, and crutches. And this place is extremely small, even smaller and more broken than the three-star hotel I stayed in yesterday."

The room was very clean, the day of my stay was my husband's birthday, the hotel upgraded the room for free, the view was beautiful, and also sent a birthday card and lobster chocolate. "We had the absolute pleasure of staying three nights at The Pebble Bed & Breakfast in Halifax, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Liz, the owner and host, is a gem. Energetic, warm, and full of stories only an Irish woman could tell with such charm, she made us feel instantly at home and like family. We felt so welcome and Liz went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. From her wonderful restaurant recommendations to suggesting both hikes and other “must sees”, her guidance helped us discover so many hidden gems around Halifax. In addition to all of the luxuries you would expect at a 5 star hotel, her breakfasts were another highlight—absolutely delicious and always flexible around our daily schedule. Every morning was a fantastic start to our day. One morning we had the added treat of meeting Liz’s husband, David, who stepped in for breakfast duty and completely blew us away with his specialty dish. Every room is beautifully appointed and carefully maintained. Ours was bright, spotless, with a cozy feel that made it hard to leave. The location couldn’t be better—close to downtown Halifax yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful, with a stunning view of the Northwest Arm right outside the property. The Pebble is charming, comfortable, and perfectly situated, but it’s Liz and David’s warmth and thoughtfulness that make it truly special. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Halifax, and we can’t wait to return!"

"You have to check in 48 hours in advance, there is no front desk service, and you have to pay for parking. After completing the steps, you still can't enter the hotel and have to rely on the help of guests coming in and out to resolve the problem. I called the hotel phone many times but no one answered. There were traces of orange juice on the water glass and large stains on the bed sheets! Only the living room has air conditioning, and there are only two fans in the three rooms, so the ventilation is very poor! What's even more outrageous is that the music from the bar downstairs is so loud that it even shook the bed. It didn't stop until 2:07 am! I reported it to the hotel, but their attitude was tough and unfriendly. I will definitely complain to the relevant government departments‼ ️"

"Very satisfied with the service. I have stayed in some hotels in Canada, including several five-star Fairmonts, and in comparison, the service in this hotel is indeed very comfortable. The location of this hotel is also very good. It takes seven or eight minutes downhill to the beach, five minutes uphill to Castle Hill, and less than ten minutes to the Public Garden. Breakfast is weak and lacks variety. Next time I come to Hafa, I might consider choosing this hotel again."
