"The hotel gives people a very warm feeling. From entering the lobby to the room, every service staff is very enthusiastic. The hotel has been newly opened and the facilities and equipment are all new. The restaurant on the second floor has a rich breakfast, including Chinese and Western dishes, and the taste is very good; the gym on the fourth floor is also well-equipped. The room is large, spacious and bright, and the cleaning is very thorough. It is close to Longma Lake Park, with pleasant scenery and within walking distance. "I enjoyed my stay at this hotel more than I expected. It's not too far from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, compared to the city of Chengdu, and the location is not too remote or rural. In fact, it's in the town of Jianyang, which has its own high speed rail station. I arrived late, almost midnight, and the hotel still provided a bus to pick up from the airport at Gate 13 on the departure floor. I recommend you ask for their WeChat in advance so you could arrange the pickup with them. The bus dropped off people at different hotels along the way before it reached Jianyang, but it didn't take long. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast (Chinese, salad, bread, soups - noodles or wontons/dumplings, juices, coffee, fruit) is better than I expected in terms of variety and taste. The kitchen ladies were very kind and helpful, even when I can't speak Chinese. The staff - front desk and doorman - were also caring and helpful. Obviously, the hotel trained their staff well. FYI. The hotel is great for those who arrive late and want a comfortable place to sleep for a night before moving on. Jianyang South Railway Station is less than 10 minutes away, and is just one high speed railway station from Chengdu (20 minutes). I highly recommend this hotel."

In general, although the hotel has some inconveniences, the price is cheap, so the cost performance is high."

"The room is very nice, the linens are very clean, it is a good choice for business trips, vacations and leisure, quiet and comfortable, and a good rest. 👍 The service of the lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic. Because we booked a waterfront lake view room with a terrace outside, we needed help to prepare more mosquito coils and insect repellent spray. They were also very efficient and arranged quickly. "The one night stay was okay. The service desk was prompt to our response. Airport transfer was okay. The location was quite isolated, there is a slope from their registration office to the room so dinning out is definitely a no no. They need to tidy up thr garden, the overall garden is quite messy. There is nothing around the hotel, it was really a “stay in the room“ for resting."

"Chose Holiday Inn because it was one of few hotels in Changdu to offer Non-Smoking Rooms. And the guaranteed 1600 check out time since our flight ETD was 1825. Alas the experience is less than stellar. First was the weird request to reserve the free airport pick up at least 2hrs in advance! Luckily, I asked our guide to do the reservation and he told us to meet the shuttle at T1 4F door 21 around 1825. The shuttle did arrive at 1828. The check in lady spoke good English, honoured our 1600 late checkout, advised and booked us to depart the hotel on their 1500 shuttle upon hearing our international flight was 1825. Room is pretty standard for 4 star Chinese hotels - with a dizzying array of switches and the usual modern looking shower with impractical features - no place to put your towels within easy reach while showering. It is not the worst though. Hotel is in a cluster of hotels around a 'food street' that was pretty sad state with little food and dining traffic. We opted to eat at the food stalls set up just across the road from the hotel. Hotel breakfast did have some western food but NO butter in the toast bread section! Due to it's distant location, we opted not to take a 2h public transport to Chengdu central but went to the central of the Jianyang satellite town that the hotel was in. Took 30min and 2 CNY pax. The other difficulty was trying to get back to hotel. The hotel doesn't show up in Amap or Didi app! Luckily, Amap does have the next door Ji Hotel which worked to guide us back."

"Because I had to catch the early flight at Tianfu Airport the next morning, I booked a night at Mingyue Hotel. In the evening, I took a bus from Chunxi Road to Tianfu Airport. I tried it and called to ask if I could pick you up at the airport. As a result, the boss really drove a business car to pick us up. The hotel is in a small village next to the airport. As soon as I entered the door of the hotel, the boss's wife personally helped with the luggage, which was very enthusiastic. There were welcome fruits at the front desk, and one of the dates was also very delicious. The hotel is very clean and still uses memory pillows. It was the first time I slept with a memory pillow in Chengdu. It was so comfortable. I had dinner at a small restaurant next to the hotel at around 8 o'clock in the evening. The crayfish was very delicious and I was amazed. At 7 o'clock the next morning, the boss also drove us there in person. Tianfu Airport, feeling the enthusiasm of the people of Chengdu, was a little reluctant to leave. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone. If you are going to transfer at Tianfu Airport, this hotel is your best choice."
