Guest UserWe stayed at the hotel for the first time and booked a sea-view room.
The room initially assigned to us faced the sea, but due to a large building platform blocking the view, we were completely unable to see the ocean. Therefore, we returned to the lobby to request a room change.
Our service was provided by a young lobby staff member, Mr. Io Choka, who was extremely courteous and professional. After checking the availability, he informed us that another room could not be prepared immediately, and he promptly contacted his supervisor. Following their communication, the hotel prepared another sea-view room for us within approximately 15 minutes.
During the waiting period, he updated us on the progress every 5 minutes. Both my husband is and I felt his professionalism and attentiveness to our needs. Afterwards, Mr. Io Choka also carefully assisted us by carrying our luggage to the new room and ensured that we were satisfied before leaving. We sincerely appreciate Mr. Io Choka and his supervisor for arranging such a wonderful room for us. Staff like him make guests feel truly secure and comfortable, which is indeed rare. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude once again to Mr. Io Choka and his supervisor for their outstanding service.
Besides, the room are excellent and many travellers stay in the hotel restaurant to enjoy the dinner. I guess the food there must be good.
I am forward to returning again.

헤수스Perfect if you have an early flight in the morning. The hotel is just 5-8 min walking from the airport. The staff was very polite and really helfull, they speak japanese, english and korean. For breakfast you get different options of rice; bread, fish, etc. If you don't want to eat in the dinning area, you can bring the food to your room. Also, you can always walk to the airport and get food and drinks at the convenience store. Keep in mind there is nothing besides the airport and the hotel, so don't expect much. This is perfect to rest before or after a flight.

류효철It is a great place to relax and heal in peace.
Surprisingly, it is a traditional Japanese house located in the city center.
Therefore, it offers excellent accessibility to izakayas, convenience stores, and more.
The Sugao Room I stayed in was approximately 30 pyeong in size and featured two bedrooms, making it perfect for families.
The garden is also beautifully landscaped.

Windgun14Although the facility is relatively old, it is located close to Kokura Station and the service is good. If you don't want to take the key with you every time, you can leave it at the front desk and pick it up every time you come back, which is very convenient.

Guest UserThis was an odd stay. My check-in was postponed until 20:00. No idea what happened, perhaps it was a misunderstanding? They do allow to keep baggage in the halway however. So it wasn't a problem. Just felt odd. The room isn't very comfortable, but it got the job done. I got my sleep.
That being said, they offered free food and drinks all the time during stay. Overall it's both the best and the worst stay of my trip. I think I'd book again just for the rice curry.

This hotel locates near by the Kokura train station makes it one of the most convenient hotel I have ever lived.
Unfortunately I could only reserve a smoking room, but the smell was not too strong to clear out by some splash. I would suggest the manager to inform smoking customers not to smoke in the bathroom, in order to avoid the smoke on the shower curtain.
And the services are pretty good provided by kind stuff with multiple language skills. There is even a snack and drink corner 24 hours on first floor.
The only deficit of this hotel might be the sound proof of the top floor, 6th floor I lived. The sound could not penetrate through rooms, but there were multiple huge machines on the top of the room running through day and night and generated big noises. During the last night I lived, one of the noises was similar with the sound of unlocking the door, so I couldn' t sleep well because I felt like somebody was unlocking the door.

sai HyaIn conclusion, it was the best accommodation for this trip, but there were a few issues.
It clearly says that there is a luggage storage service in the accommodation service details, but when I arrived, it was unmanned and I couldn't receive any service, so I walked around for almost 30 minutes, went back to the JR station, stored my luggage for 700 yen, and started my trip. Something happened that didn't exist
Also, there was an issue with the door lock not working in my room. To resolve this, I was able to resolve the issue within an hour by talking to the manager (the door did not close tightly, so I had to push it with force)
The room condition was excellent and everything in the bathroom and toilet was good. There were some inconveniences, but I spoke to the master and he said he would fix it, so I think it will be a better hotel.

Guest UserNice self-check in hotel; door code is sent on day of check in. Hotel was nice, comfortable bed with free parking for 3 cars upfront. I had to chase for the door code as I didn’t want to arrive when it’s dark and struggle with the entry. It was sent to me with the help of Trip customer support. There is lift so no problem with my heavy luggage. Unlike other Grand Base hotels, this one has no laundry, no washing machine, no cooking stove, no utensils, just one kettle, 4 cups, one microwave and one fridge. Carpet had visible stains so not clean.

It was lovely to be able to relax in the hot spring while enjoying the sea view. The weather was cloudy so we couldn't see the stars, but I'm sure it would have been beautiful if it were clear. The food, especially the seafood, was excellent, probably because of the hotel's proximity to the ocean. I also really appreciated the late-night ramen service.

It's a typical small-town tourist hotel. I liked the spacious parking lot. There's also an Aeon nearby, so the location is great.
