"We got a low floor room facing inside, thus there was no view at all. You wouldn't want to open the window, which was opaque to ensure some privacy. Facing inside had an unexpected advantage, though, because you didn't get any noise from the pedestrian street out there, compared to the rooms facing outside.
The room card didn't work, and the front desk re-programmed it twice. Even then you had to place the card for about 5 seconds before the door would unlock.
Our room looked basic, but everything seemed to be there: wardrobe, safe deposit box, TV, small refrigerator, luggage rack, hair dryer, even reading lights above our beds.
The location is, undoubtedly, very central and convenient with all kinds of shops and restaurants right there.
In summary, if you want a basic bed/room on a budget, you are in the right place."
"It’s so loud outside, I had to use a pillow to seal the noise from my ears. Would highly recommend bringing earplugs.
Also, the front desk literally did not tell me ahead of time that I had to pay a 80,000 Pesos tax to the city, especially right when I had to check out and had no money left.
Would highly recommend someplace not too close to the beautiful Obelisk."
"Overall, I really liked the hotel.
The location is excellent – it's literally within walking distance of the Obelisco de Buenos Aires. There's a subway station right outside the hotel, which is super convenient for getting around the city. Across the street, there's a 24-hour convenience store, and a supermarket is just two minutes away. Plus, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.
The hotel is situated on Avenida de Mayo, and you can walk directly to the Casa Rosada and the waterfront from there. Basically, everything is close by – all the main attractions are within walking distance.
The room was quite spacious, and the bedding was clean.
As for the downsides, there was a peculiar smell in the room, so I had to keep the window open the entire time.
Overall, it's a good option thanks to its location and convenience."
"We had a wonderful stay at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Buenos Aires and couldn’t be happier with the experience. We were three couples traveling together and stayed in three separate rooms, and everything was handled smoothly and professionally.
The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. What truly stood out was their generosity and flexibility — they kindly allowed us to store our luggage for several extra days while we continued our travels, which made a huge difference for us and took away a lot of stress.
The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the hotel felt safe and well organized. The location was also very convenient for getting around Buenos Aires.
We sincerely appreciate the hospitality and excellent service provided by the entire team. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Buenos Aires, especially travelers who value friendly service and thoughtful support."
"Tripeca Hotel is a great place to stay. The rooms are surprisingly big, giving you plenty of space to relax and unpack comfortably. The location is excellent — close to everything you need and perfect for exploring the area on foot. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready with a smile and good advice.
Overall, a very solid hotel experience. I’d happily stay here again."
"The hotel is conveniently located in a bustling downtown area. The rooms are rather small and don't have refrigerators. Breakfast wasn't included in my booking. Transportation is convenient; it's easy to get around. The hotel is clean and hygienic; overall, it's acceptable."
"Recommended by a client, it's located in the city center, close to various attractions.
The room isn't large, and the shower is just average. There are street performances in the evenings, usually lasting until around 10 PM.
There are many restaurants on both sides of the street. A taxi to the airport takes about 30 minutes."
"I stayed here for a month while I was looking for a new apartment in Buenos Aires and I was happy with it. I appreciate the people who work there, Fernando, Mariana, Ivan and others. It's a great staff in a great location, close to Avenida 9 de Julio. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're price conscious."
"The location is very good. There is a hot pot restaurant next to it. It is located in the city center. It is very convenient to take a taxi there. However, because it was built around 1933, there is a bit of smell in the room."
"I had a great stay at Deluxe Apartments in Downtown by BueRentals.
The check in process was smooth and easy, and the location is excellent, very central and just a few blocks from Obelisco de Buenos Aires, which made getting around the city really convenient.
The room was clean and well maintained, and the amenities met all my needs. One thing I really appreciated was that they were able to hold my bags after checkout since I had a late flight, that made a big difference.
I also want to give a special mention to Julia, who was incredibly helpful throughout my stay and made the whole process seamless. The building also felt secure, with controlled access for entry and exit.
Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient experience. I’d definitely recommend staying here."

Amazing
GGuest UserFierro Hotel is a true gem! The location is good but we took a taxi nearly everywhere. There are lots of eateries all around this neighborhood though.
The people at the desk exceed themselves in giving the best service they can. We arrived mid-morning, and we only had to wait a few minutes before our 2 rooms were ready. We waited in their dining room where they served us their amazing breakfast that comes with the room.
We ate many of our meals here because the food is amazing, chef-prepared. The wines recommended by their in-house sommelier are delicious.
The rooms are big with a fridge stocked with champagne if desired. Also a separate wine fridge stocked with several wines.
The desk folks have great suggestions for things to do as well as calling a taxi, English-speaking if desired. We asked about a dinner show with tango. It did not disappoint! They made our reservations, we were picked up and taken to the venue and it was great!
We needed a late checkout and they allowed us to stay til 2 pm.
I can't guarantee that on busier days the same accommodations to time in and out can be given. But we can leave our luggage safely if needed, even use of the facilities of pool, dining and sauna were offered after checkout.
I can't say enough positive things about this hotel. The only negative thing was having to leave!
GGuest UserThe rooms are fully equipped, comfortable, spacious, and bright. The kitchen is clean and well-maintained, and the service is friendly and attentive. The environment is elegant and pleasant, with flowers and greenery. Parking is free and convenient.
GGuest UserGood location. Older building complex, does tje job well, and meets the price requirements. The staff is very helpful and thus staying here was comfortable and worked well. Overall a descent hotel and comfortable rooms. Didn't try the food.
SSZ2020Relatively new, very clean, the surrounding facilities are very complete, there is a park downstairs, the environment is good. Not very far from the subway station industry, travel is very convenient. The landlord is also friendly?
LLKHAGVASURENI'm always so happy to stay in the Top Rentals Downtown hotel in Buenos Aires. Very good location in the heart of Buenos Aires. Very clean and comfortable rooms with so beautiful views of the city in the high floors. I really would like to say my thankfulness for Nelson, Rocio, Agostina, Indra and all of other Team of the hotel. They are all very warmly, friendly and such a helpful and strong team. The breakfast in the Saint Moritz Restaurant is so fantastic. One of my favourite hotels in the Buenos. Strongly recommended
Ainda assim, indico.
VVickie TehI was initially worried after reading some negative reviews, especially since I had a late check-in around 10pm. However, my experience turned out to be completely different.
I contacted the staff via WhatsApp, and they were very responsive and helpful. The check-in process was smooth and completely hassle-free, which was a huge relief after a long day of travel.
Considering the price and location in the city, I think it’s definitely worth it. The accommodation itself has a very creative and unique design, which adds to the overall experience.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would highly recommend it 👍
GGuest UserThis is the 4th stay. The staff is friendly and very nice. The room has a simple kitchen, but it's very spacious and easy to use. I think that it is beautiful as a whole because it is not so many years since it was built. There are rooms with showers only, but I don't feel so inconvenient. Obelisco and Florida Street are within walking distance, and the subway station is also nearby. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. Breakfast is perfect continental, so if you are not satisfied, you should buy it at a supermarket. Recommended hotel with high cospa.
