the owners were pretty chill and helpful as they recommend places and drove us to and from the XiaoWan bus stop, the room is huge and has a smart TV and apparently a small balcony even if the room's on the 1st floor.
the location of the hotel is pretty far from Hengchun and sometimes the bus time schedule gets unpredictable, the nearest 7 eleven is less than a 8 minute walk away. the closest beach was Small beach that i didnt get to visit but being near the coast was very beautiful. you could have a run in the sunrise, its lovely
Kenting was actually breezy rather than hot in April

An absolutely excellent hotel! The views, ambiance, facilities, and service are all top-notch. What truly stood out was the service. Even though the hotel was very busy, everything was incredibly well-organized, from reserving a dinner table at the restaurant to borrowing bicycles, helping us find a table at breakfast, and managing the pool and beach lounge areas, as well as the fitness and recreation center – everything was handled perfectly. The staff were all very friendly, warm, and thoughtful. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide, this was by far one of my most satisfying experiences. We booked for five nights and still felt it wasn't enough!

Booked a sea-view quad room for three adults and one child. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and bright. All the staff, including the cleaning ladies, were very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven and various restaurants right next door, and Nanwan Beach is just across the street – perfect for kids to play in the sand and burn off energy. Overall, we had a very satisfying experience and would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit.

We stayed at the 海景三合院特色民宿 Seashoy BnB during the Qingming Festival holiday weekend. The architecture is stunning.
The owners contacted me before we traveled to the island, asking if we wanted help booking the ferry and a scooter. They're very helpful people! Once we arrived, they gave us maps showing tourist places of interest, and which beaches are safe for swimming.
They can also give advice about restaurants. The location is great, there's a beach within walking distance and a few restaurants and bars. But if you have a scooter/motorbike then it's easy to get around the island from anywhere.
I really liked that there is a building with extra showers, sinks and mirrors- and you can wash your swimsuits and towels without having to trek messy sand into your room after a day at the beach.
Even though the room was a little small, it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was OK, you should collect it from the reception early or it'll get cold.
When we checked out, we were kindly given traditional Liuqiu cookies and cards with artwork.
I know that the price was a bit high because of the holiday weekend demand, but it was definitely worth it for a comfortable and relaxing stay on Liuqiu Island.

Fu Bin met my needs very well. Very welcoming staff, who are a family. They did laundry for me and gave me hangers to dry, and they didn't want to charge for the laundry. That saved me valuable time and made my first trip to Kenting better utilised.
Everything at Fu Bin was as described, and they supplied a bowl and cutlery very promptly. It's easy to communicate with the staff by WhatsApp (or wechat, i can't remember) if you don't want to go downstairs.
For the price I feel the facilities are fine. No lift, limited view of the night market, decent air con, but I didn't need it all the time anyway. They were relaxed but efficient, and this made me feel more relaxed.
I walked to the lovely small beach for swimming, 10 minutes past the night market and in front of Caesar Hotel. The NM is fairly typical of Taiwan and not as co gestsd as the HK ones. I felt well priced for ”Western” currency (£) although TW people are not using Kenting for holidays so much these days. I swum at sunset for the first two days and early morning the third day. It's the best beach I have encountered in 60 years! The Caesar outdoors bar has some groovy music in the evenings, and I recommend having a drink there to finish your sunset swim. It's clean and idyllic.
Overall, my experience of Kenting was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful people, great facilities and beautiful flora and fauna. The history and places of indigenous people are worth checking out, especially if you have your own transport. I hope business is good for you all. Tsiu tsiu!

Guest UserFive stars, no doubt! I took a bus to Kenting alone at night, and because I wasn't familiar with the route, I got off a few kilometers early and couldn't find a taxi. I called the host, and she was incredibly thoughtful, driving to pick me up and take me to the hotel – she was a lifesaver! The place is spotless; even during the plum rain season when there were lots of bugs flying outside, I didn't find a single one inside. The bathtub is huge, perfect for a relaxing soak. The tatami mat was cozy and ideal for lounging alone. The two best nights of sleep I had my entire trip were here. It was also very quiet at night. On the morning I was leaving, I went to check out the beach before heading to catch my bus, and when I came back, my clothes were soaking wet. I was actually going to leave them as they were, thinking they'd dry in half a day, and I had already checked out. But the cleaning lady was super concerned and insisted I change clothes before leaving, even offering a shower if I was cold, stressing that I absolutely couldn't catch a cold. After I changed, she gave me a plastic bag for my wet clothes. I was genuinely moved to tears. Then, fearing I'd get rained on walking to the station, she gave me an umbrella and put a plastic bag over my backpack. I will definitely book this place again when the weather is good, even if it's just to see the host and the cleaning lady again. I hope the host and the cleaning lady have smooth sailing in life and that their business continues to thrive!

The house is very clean and tidy, highly recommended. ” ”The room is very clean and there are many restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.” ”The location is good, the room is large, the bathroom and toilet are also large, and it is very comfortable to live in!” ”The location is relatively remote, but the house is comfortable, the environment is quiet, and the staff is friendly.

Located right across from one of the beaches and very short walk to the main strip. Super friendly staff.
If you’re travelling from Kaohsiung via bus 9189 the hotel is a very short walk from the police substation bus stop.

I've stayed at Seawall before, and I remember the air conditioning in the room being very quiet, not affecting my sleep quality at all. This time I stayed in a street-view room with a small balcony, and the AC was still very quiet. It's really important to get good rest when you're traveling.
From the hotel entrance, you can see the Dawan seascape and the sunset, and Kenting Street is right behind the hotel. For us, who prioritize relaxation, it's a very suitable and convenient location.
Seawall provides breakfast vouchers for a restaurant on the first floor of another building. It's quite simple, but it has everything you need, and I personally thought it was good.

This stay included an upgrade to a Chocolate Room. The front desk and other staff at the resort were generally very friendly and welcoming. I suspect that due to a higher number of guests this time or a lack of staff for a while, breakfast was extended to the second-floor restaurant on Sunday. Guests dining after 8 am had to wait a bit. However, the most concerning experience was my dinner on Saturday evening. I'm unsure if it was due to uneven staff allocation or a lack of support measures, but it seems there were many more guests not on the reservation list. While there wasn't a shortage of front-of-house staff, I don't understand why one person at the counter had to run around so much. Shouldn't there be at least two people on duty at the counter to seat guests? Waiting for a table for dinner took over 15 minutes. Each group of guests just stood at the door waiting, with piles of empty tables. There were no walkie-talkies in the kitchen or back, and the flow of people and guests was chaotic. As for the dinner buffet, I don't think it's worth the resort's price. Think twice before eating at the resort's buffet; the selection wasn't very diverse, and the barbecue wasn't as good as expected. The white shrimp was fresh, though. I hope senior management sees this feedback. The duplex room was incredibly stuffy and had a damp smell when we first checked in. We recommend setting the air conditioner to dehumidify to remove the smell and cool it down faster. The bathroom had plenty of water, but the temperature control was inconsistent depending on the number of guests and the time of day. The elevator was very slow, and the layout of the basement wasn't great. The water facilities were maintained daily, and there were shows to enjoy in the evenings. Overall, it was a pretty good hotel for its age.
