"This time I stayed with my family. Although we didn't have a river view room, the golf course offered a refreshing and vibrant green landscape. The room was also very spacious, and my family had a wonderful experience."

"Terrific location with shops, food and street night markets just down stairs. There are actually restaurants and shops in the building so you don’t even have to go outside if the weather is poor. Lots of interesting and historical things to see all within walking distance or a short bus ride. Just across the road from the MRT station so easy to get from the airport to hotel. Lovely view from our river view room. On the downside the room is very small with no real hanging space for clothes."

"The hotel is located on an uphill slope, which requires a bit of effort to walk up. The 6 PM check-in time is a bit late, but otherwise, everything was impeccable. The staff were very enthusiastic and explained everything clearly. The breakfast menu changed daily, offering both Chinese and Western options, and fresh fruit. There's also a children's play area in the restaurant. Free 24-hour self-service washing machines are available. The shower and toilet are separate, and the bubble massage tub was very comfortable and clean. Many little amenities were provided (shower ball, bath salts, mouthwash, hair clips; toothbrushes are available upon request). There were even three types of slippers! There's an entryway for changing shoes and a double door system, making for excellent soundproofing. The TV can be rotated and has many channels, which is something to note if you have children. Both the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I regret not booking this place for the rest of my trip! 😂"

"This hostel is located at Tamsui, a tourist hot spot. Tamsui is at a river tribuary and has a lot to offer including a ferry to Bali. Th he setting of this hostel is very good and creates a welcome atmosphere. There is eating area at ground level and free to use washing machine at 6th level. On 6th level there is another common area. Wash rooms are well maintained. I rank 5 out of for cleanness of this hostel. The only thing happened to me only during my stay. There are several bed rooms in the hostel. I think the staff tried to group Chinese and westerners separately. So although i have a canadian passport i was placed among the local Chinese. I like mixed people together better for personal safety reason. Maybe the staff got reason to do so, but i was mismayed. I should have probably tell me although i did not tell."

"The B&B is about a 3-minute walk from Tamsui MRT Station. There are night markets and old streets nearby with lots of food. There is a 711 at the end of the alley, which is quite convenient. This time I stayed on the third floor of an old apartment next door. The entrance and exit are all electronic code locks, which is quite convenient. There is no elevator on the third floor and the stairs are narrow. If you have large luggage, it may be inconvenient. The service staff is very friendly and introduced carefully. The room is quite clean and quite spacious for one person. Before check-in, the official line informed me of nearby attractions and activities."

"The room was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless. As for the service, you have to carry your own luggage, but thankfully it was only to the first floor. From Tamsui Station, you'll need to take a taxi to the B&B, even though it's relatively close. Walking isn't very convenient. There's a water dispenser available. The electric kettle in the room was dusty, so I didn't use it. Check-in and check-out were very convenient. There's a convenience store right across the street and other shops directly opposite."

"I stayed at five hotels in Taipei this time, but this was the cheapest and the most satisfying. If I had chosen a room with a good view, it would have been more expensive, but I wanted to stay longer because this room was good enough. In February, Taipei can get colder than I expected, and many hotels have no heating, so in some hotels I had to wear socks, underpants, layers of warm clothes on top, and even a down vest before I could sleep. At the previous hotel, which had the best view, I didn't feel that cold in the room to begin with, and there was a comforter in the dresser, so I was able to sleep comfortably in my regular nightwear. What makes this hotel nice is the cleanliness, the fact that you can wash and dry your clothes for free, including detergent, at the laundry on the 8th floor, and when you go outside, you can see the spectacular view of the sea. The coffee you can drink freely in the lobby on the first floor is delicious. There is also tea such as black tea, powdered cocoa, and milk tea. You can also get three kinds of snacks for free and take them to your room. Above all, I like the convenient transportation. Although the hotel is not in front of the station, if you go right and turn there is a bus stop that comes frequently, and if you have a suitcase, you can go left and turn the corner to get on the monorail, so you can go to the last stop, transfer at Hongshulin, and take the MRT red line for easy travel. During my stay, I took the bus every day to eat my favorite xiaolongbao. This hotel is also in front of the bus stop, so it was fine even in the rain. There are many places that are perfect for a walk, and there is a gyoza restaurant that locals go to, so I wanted to live there. Once you get used to taking the bus, you can go anywhere, and I was surprised that the area I thought was so remote was surprisingly convenient. Don't forget that check-in is at 4pm and to bring slippers."

"Decent hotel. Bit run down but WiFi was good and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Location was ok depending on your reason for being in Tamsui. Few restaurants nearby for local food."
