Facilities: The room was quite spacious, with plenty of walking room even after unpacking our luggage. There was also a desk for bags and other items. The bedding was comfortable, and the shower, toilet, and sink were all very clean. The water temperature was stable and the pressure was excellent, making for a very comfortable shower. There was also a water purifier for direct access to drinking water. The TV in the room was large and capable of screen mirroring. The long hanging area with numerous hangers was very convenient. On the ground floor, the hotel provided hot water, tea, and coffee, and there was even a small robot delivery service for meals. This is a very well-equipped hotel. The breakfast was incredibly abundant, with main dishes, drinks, milk, cereal, soy milk, bread, cakes, and fruit… We were particularly surprised by the sea cucumber and rice. Cleanliness: Very clean, with housekeeping tidying up daily. Environment: Excellent. We had a great view of Huancui Tower and other mountains from our window. The lobby and corridors were spacious and bright, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant was elegantly and modernly decorated, and the dining tables were large, so we never felt cramped. Service: Truly exceptional. Even before entering, a staff member helped with our luggage. After checking in, another staff member personally escorted us to our room and helped with our bags. Inside the room, there was a handwritten note and snacks awaiting us. The next day, after returning from our activities, we found another new note and snacks. Upon checkout, we received a refrigerator magnet as a souvenir. During our stay in Weihai, it was a bit chilly with wind and rain, and the room was cold. Since the hotel uses central air conditioning and couldn't provide heating at that time, we contacted them and they immediately brought a space heater, which warmed up the room quickly. The hotel's location is convenient for getting anywhere; there's a Hema (supermarket) opposite, a McDonald's downstairs, and the Weigao Plaza bus stop right outside. A truly wonderful stay!

The hotel is quite new and in a great location. The rooms are spacious, and the service is excellent – very attentive and patient. When I mentioned there was some noise late at night, they resolved it quickly. It offers great value for money and is very close to the Happy Gate scenic area by the sea. Based on all these positives, I decided to extend my stay. However, today I received a strange double charge: one for the original booked rate of 299 yuan per night, and then another successful charge for 335 yuan for the room. That's a bit confusing.

I specified upon check-in that I didn't want a room at the beginning or end of the room, but when I went to check, it turned out to be the last room, so I had to come down and change rooms. The room's design and furniture were nice. However, the laundry service was mediocre; the front desk sometimes forgot. You have to remind them yourself. The company is really trying to save money by not hiring more people to handle the laundry service. Also, the room is on the same floor as the restaurant, so the smell of food from the restaurant in the morning would seep into the room through the ventilation system. The room's soundproofing was poor. I could hear everything in the isolation room: the door was closed, people were talking, watching TV, flushing the toilet.

I almost never write reviews, and I almost never comment on anything negative! To help everyone avoid disappointment, I must give a realistic review of this so-called five-star B&B. First, although the location is said to be in the city center, it is actually in a so-called garden, making it difficult to get around. We drove here, and parking was inconvenient. There were very few spaces, and we didn't know where to park. The next morning, the Weihai Traffic Management Bureau called and asked us to move our car (the hotel didn't say anything either). Secondly, when returning to the hotel at night, there were no lights on, and there were no lights in the park or entering the hotel. We used our phones as flashlights to enter! Thirdly, even for a Buddhist cultural hotel, only the quaint and simple style really fits. For example, drinking water is not unlimited. Each room is only provided with a maximum of 6 bottles of drinking water per day. This is the first time I've heard of drinking water being limited at such an expensive room rate and in such hot weather. And it's Jingtian purified water, which is very cheap! You can search how much a bottle costs! The room's amenities are Huawei, which is considered cutting-edge. It also has a smart toilet (which was my only requirement, even though the room itself was incredibly shabby, sparse, and smelly! It was completely unworthy of the price, but I put up with it!). On my first night, I returned to a completely dark hotel. Combined with the gardens and the Chinese Buddhist decor, it was truly horrifying. The only thing that kept me there the first night was the toilet's battery life. It was so late, I felt embarrassed to bother the staff, and the toilet wouldn't flush, leaving me without a bathroom break all night! I held it in until morning, flushing manually. Then I waited for the staff to replace the batteries. They also delivered the breakfast I'd ordered the day before, as you can see in the picture. Vegetarians might find it good, but it's not as good as the local seagulls. The first thing I heard was that their hotel is vegetarian and Buddhist! In short, if you think anything is shabby, it's because the owner is a Buddhist and values simplicity! It was completely speechless! Be careful with the sanitary napkins in the room; they're so crude I can't describe them. The reason they're there is that they're quaint and eco-friendly! We originally booked three nights, but upon returning, we couldn't bear it. The value for money was beyond words. A twin room was over 1,000 yuan a night in this season, and they advertised themselves as a five-star B&B (we don't know who gave them the credit). After negotiation, the three-night discount was so low that we couldn't leave. We left in a panic, packed with luggage. Luckily, we drove, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to leave at all, dragging our luggage through the scorching sun to find another hotel! We ended up switching hotels, and the rebooking process took up most of the day, disrupting our entire itinerary and forcing us to stay an extra night in Weihai! I've written all this to help those of you who are discerning about accommodations. Those who aren't particular about quality can skip this... I don't mean any harm in writing this, but it was my biggest regret on this trip! It also delayed our entire trip! I won't go into any more details, but because of this unpleasant stay, we didn't have a positive impression of Weihai at all. We thought it was too backward. How could a hotel like this dare to call itself a five-star B&B? But you say it's lagging behind, and the prices are really tight. You say the boss is a Buddhist, but the prices are always online, but the quality is not! Let's stop here. One thing I must admit is that every hotel staff member is very nice and polite! Very good! It's just that the software can't overcome the flaws! There's really nothing I can do about it! (Note: I haven't met the boss, and all the feedback I give after communicating with the hotel staff is based on communication with the boss). There is no criticism or hostility here, every word is real feedback.

AAnonymous UserI booked a room like the one shown in the picture for 2 nights. It stated that check-in was available after 2:00 PM. I arrived to check in after 2:00 PM, but when I called, the staff informed me that the room I had booked had already been given to someone else because they couldn’t reach me by phone. My phone number is a Thailand number, and I did not receive any missed calls from the staff at all. I did not cancel the booking, and I had only made the reservation one day before my stay because I saw that there was availability. The app no longer allowed me to request a refund, and they also refused to offer any discount. As a result, I had to stay in a different room that was completely different from the one shown in the pictures, because I didn’t want to waste time looking for a new place and ruin my travel plans. It was only on the second day that I was finally moved to the room I had originally booked. However, I did not receive any compensation at all. The staff also asked me to cancel the booking in the app and book directly with them instead, even though the app no longer allowed me to request a refund. Ps. I booked the white room shown in the picture, but on the first night I was given a different room with green walls like the one in the picture instead.

The breakfast had a great variety, and the front desk service was incredibly thoughtful – they even offered tea during check-in and gave us a fridge magnet when we left, really paying attention to the details. It's also super close to Torch Eight Street, making getting around very convenient. If you're driving, there's free parking in the back with EV charging, which is a treasure for travelers. GGuest UserThe room was spotless, comfortable, and spacious, offering a cozy and quiet retreat. All the facilities were complete and in excellent working order, with the Wi-Fi and hot water being particularly impressive! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right in a building to the left of Weihai Station's exit. It's about a ten-minute walk to Hanlefang, and getting to Weihai Bus Station or Weihai Coach Terminal for the tourist bus lines is a breeze. This makes it super easy to visit attractions like Liugong Island, Maotou Mountain, Nashanghai, the Bluevessel, Chengshantou, and city sights such as Weihai Park and Huoju 8th Street. The staff, including the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, and security, were all incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. Full marks! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Weihai!

GGuest UserI didn't book a hotel near the sea during the peak holiday. This hotel is a little far away, across a street, but it's still close to the beach. You can see a little bit of the sea from the upper floors, but it's mainly blocked by high-rise buildings in front. The hotel rooms are large, clean and tidy, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, and although the facilities are a little old, it's still good overall, especially the thick door of the room with good sound insulation.

GGuest UserI loved this resort! I highly recommend staying here for an amazing and relaxing time! The hotel is excellent! It was clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The front desk even had a fantastic girl that spoke perfect English. I spent most of my time soaking in the numerous hot springs, and there are at least 20 of them. There is also an indoor pool and hot tubs, and the outdoor pool will be open in May. There was this darling worker who kept the tea coming all the time. I'd ask for a lake view the next time so I could sit in the room and enjoy the view. The restaurant was excellent. The breakfast was also really well stocked. The only thing I would add is yougart. I can overstate what a wonderful experience this weekend was. If you are wanting to go into the city and see the sights, it is a little far, around 75RMB for a DiDi. And the spa, although it was really nice, was on the expensive side. I will be back! 10/10

GGuest UserWhile primarily catering to domestic travelers, this hotel is more than willing to accommodate international guests. The staff demonstrates genuine attentiveness and helpfulness, with smartphone translation apps facilitating smooth communication. Key Features: Responsive Personnel: Friendly and attentive staff ready to assist Regional Considerations: Some local specifics, such as unique bathroom design (note: after taking shower water would be everywhere in the bathroom) Electrical Setup: Non-universal sockets (EU plugs incompatible), but USB ports available throughout. Laundry Facilities: Complimentary self-service laundry on-site Meal Options: Breakfast available (additional charge), but not suitable for everyone’s taste. If it wouldn't suit you, you can find alternative place to eat. Location Benefits: - Walking distance to promenade and shopping centers - Taxi required for beach access Overall, considering its affordable rates and convenient location, I confidently recommend this hotel for accommodation, especially for those who prioritize location over luxury amenities. Just be prepared for some regional specifics.

KKittenMacMuffinThis stay was amazing. The room was very spacious and extremely clean, with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The shower was large with strong water pressure, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was also nicely warm, which was especially important for us as we stayed during winter. The absolute highlight was the huge panoramic window with a stunning view of the wrecked ship. The hotel is located right on the beach, making it easy to be among the first to take photos of the ship in the morning. Having a bathtub placed in front of the panoramic window created a truly unique and atmospheric experience. The hotel also has a lovely café in the lobby with delicious food and drinks. While the breakfast was a bit simpler than a typical European buffet and required some waiting, it was still a nice addition to the stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic views, comfort, and a memorable atmosphere—I would definitely recommend it.

GGuest UserI've stayed in so many hotels that I never rate them, but I really want to rate this Luyuan Jinshangyi International Hotel. Their rooms are very clean and dry, unlike others who say the beach is very damp, especially their service. The staff were all smiling, helping me with my luggage and leading the way. What warmed my heart the most was that when I scratched my foot while playing with shells at the beach, they disinfected me and gave me medicine. It was really wonderful. I am moved and sincerely praise them. Luyuan Hotel is a worthwhile trip! praise! praise! praise!

AAnonymous UserBefore leaving Beijing, I booked the Nishi Haitai Resort Hotel on Ctrip. Although the online review was only 4.1, I still firmly chose this hotel. Later, it was confirmed that my choice was absolutely correct. The hotel is good in all aspects and must be given 100 points. 1. The hotel is in a good location. You can watch the sunrise while lying on the bed, face the sea, blow the sea breeze and listen to the sound of the waves. The hotel has a private beach. The elevator goes to the B1 floor and you can walk to the lighthouse, Lily Bay, Children's Palace, Sakura Lake, Seaside Park, etc. along the beach. You can also take the bus No. 117 or No. 289 in front of the door. Bus No. 117 goes directly to Huaxing Bridge, a popular check-in place. 2. The hotel lobby is magnificent and unique, with the most distinctive various bear toys, which are posed differently every day. In addition, you can watch the sea from the public platform on each floor of the hotel, and there is a children's playground on each floor, which is suitable for walking babies. 3. The hotel has a variety of breakfasts, roasted tobacco potatoes, meat sauce buns, and fried dough sticks must be tasted, and different fruits are served every day. Lunch and dinner can also be served at the hotel, the dishes taste good and the price is reasonable. 4. There are churches, sun umbrellas, and rest cabins on the beach of the hotel, which is warm and romantic. 4. It takes 10 minutes by taxi from Rongcheng High-speed Railway Station to the hotel. I originally planned to stay for 3 days, but then I extended my stay for 2 days. I strongly recommend friends who go to Rongcheng to stay at Nishi Haitai Resort Hotel, which is definitely worth experiencing and you will definitely linger after the experience.
