The hotel looks a bit old
But the overall space is spacious, each room has its own hot spring pool, mainly underwater hot springs
There are also hot spring houses and swimming pools outdoors.
The breakfast is varied and rich, and it is also convenient for vegetarians.
The hotel staff is also very friendly, and the precautions for accommodation will be explained in detail.
Next time I have the opportunity to visit the Northeast Corner, I will consider staying here again

The property itself is on the top of the hill. You need to drive up with a car, and the road is so challenging. The hotspring is superb, and it is very convenient because you can spend time relaxing yourself under the mineral hotspring inside your room privately (this is a super plus). The chinese style breakfast consists of boiled rice with various kinds of side dishes and fresh fruit and vegetables. The ********* style coffee and soil milk are good. I really recommend it.

The staff at the counter are sincere and friendly, providing information about surrounding tours, Jinshan Old Street, Yehliu Park, Guihou Fishing Port Seafood Restaurant, etc., and assisting in calling a taxi and explaining bus routes. Next door is a 24-hour 7-11, which is very convenient. The equipment is a bit old, but it is well maintained, neat and clean, the price is moderate, and it is good for lodging or bathing. The overall performance is excellent and worth recommending.
Foxin Hotel did not increase the price during the holiday, the location is also great, just next to Jinshan Old Street, next door is the taro round king, but the facilities are old, there is no towel, you must be mentally prepared before you check in.

We booked a hot spring experience inside the hotel room. The room was spacious, and the bed was really big for two people. The hot bathtub was okay, but the breakfast didn’t have many options to choose from. The coffee machine in the breakfast area was really weird, but the one on the 1st floor was good and legit.
From the hotel, you can walk to Jinshan Old Street. However, I visited on a rainy day, so many stores were not open.

The hotel is quite a distance from town. After a 90-minute bus ride from Taipei Main Station, we had to take a taxi for TWD 300 to get there. It's really not feasible to go down to town for meals, so be prepared to dine exclusively at the hotel. The food is on the pricier side, but that was expected. The outdoor hot spring facilities are excellent and very enjoyable; the atmosphere was peaceful and comfortable. My room type was also great; even though it was the most basic price, it came with a private hot spring tub in the room. When checking out, there's a free hotel shuttle bus at 11:45 AM that takes you to the bus station in town. The staff provided standard 4-star service, so don't expect anything extraordinary.

Perfect for families! We stayed for a week and Brother Lin Chen X from the park got to know our whole family. He was super friendly, interacted with the kids, and remembered all of us! We were probably one of the longer-staying guests. The best part is not having to constantly think of places to take the kids.

The B&B is located right next to Baisha Bay, very close to Fuguijiao Lighthouse, Shimen Cave, and Laomei Stone Trough. No breakfast is provided, but there is a restaurant and a breakfast cafe nearby, as well as a Seven's and a dessert shop.
There are two parking spaces at the entrance of the B&B, first come first served. The room is on the 2nd floor, there is no elevator, and you have to carry your suitcases yourself. There happened to be a violent storm on the day of our stay, and it was very humid. The balcony was flooded and the windows were leaking. The toilet is super small and has no windows to the outside. There is black mold in the corners, and the whole room becomes more humid after taking a shower.
The advantage is that the bed in the room is big, very comfortable to sleep in, and there is no strange smell.

I stayed here before when it opened. The outdoor bathing equipment was not well maintained or kept clean. The SPA pool was half full and damaged. Many facilities were not open and the swimming pool was not open for swimming. The rooms were well maintained and there was dehumidification everywhere. Fragrant and fragrant, the breakfast is not bad, the service staff have very good attitudes, and the sea view of the hot spring bath is still a selling point.

Jinshan location is a bit far-refers to Taipei-what is convenient for parking
Hanging clothes and quick pot position is inappropriate for the upper and lower position!
I am used to boiling bottled water and drinking it again. If there is a problem with the fast boiling pot, the boiling pot cannot be stopped. I forced to unplug the plug and cook the pot to stop. The problem of the fast boiling pot immediately notified the service staff, and the new service was very good!
The hot spring bath switch is difficult to adjust the size of the water volume and turn off the water to stop. It takes a while to adjust the water slightly before stopping the water. I personally feel that it is very problematic to use and should be repaired! ?
The room lights switch - even on the phone button!
Quick boiling pot + poor location of clothes X
Location near Jinshan Old Street! ✓
Pay attention to the time when you go to the old street for dinner!
Visitors should pay attention to the snack bar closes at 7pm!
Only food vendors are selling!
Every parking space is very convenient! ✓
With small biscuits + cold drinks + brewing drinks ✓
The overall accommodation environment is still clean! ✓
Service is also fast and good! ✓
Bathroom hot spring bath water switch is difficult to adjust the size of the water problem! ?
It is recommended that the room has a luggage shelf, it will be more convenient!

Very Good
NNguyen Do Nha UyenAfter coming back from Taiwan, I suddenly realized I hadn’t posted any photos or written a review about the adorable wooden cabin our family stayed in at Jiufen. Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time.
Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊
Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away.

⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen
Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe.
Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃.
🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden
This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy)
Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here.
If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️
YYanapatra WinaisiwilaiI had visited Jiufen, Taiwan once before, but this second trip truly exceeded expectations. The view, the atmosphere, the service, and the host’s attention to detail were all absolutely outstanding.
The scenery from the accommodation was breathtaking — truly a million-dollar view! The room itself was spacious, almost like staying in an entire house. The price per person came out to just a little over 1,100 THB, but what we received was far more valuable than what we paid.
The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering us detailed travel suggestions and making us feel as if we were staying at a friend’s home. What touched us the most was that, on the day we left, the host even rode a motorbike to personally drop us off at the bus stop.
It’s the little acts of kindness like that that make a place unforgettable.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cham Cham Taipei. Everything exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The hotel is very clean, modern, and well-maintained, making it extremely comfortable for families.
The location is excellent—very convenient with easy access to public transportation, shopping areas, and plenty of food options nearby. It made exploring Taipei effortless, especially with family members.
The room itself was spacious, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after a full day of exploring.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in Taipei. Would definitely stay here again!
TTr.HWe had a wonderful stay in the family suite at Jasper Young Hotel. The room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and very clean, which made it perfect for traveling with family. The layout was practical and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. Service was also excellent—staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to assist whenever needed. Overall, a very pleasant and hassle-free experience.
NnechihachiThe location is excellent!
It's close to the bus stop, the entrance to Jiufen's main tourist area, and convenience stores. It was so easy to drop off our luggage before heading out to explore. Jiufen has a lot of stairs; I saw people struggling with suitcases, climbing about 100 steps during my visit, and it looked very tough.
The service is also great! I requested a late check-in via LINE, and they sent me photos with directions. All communication was in Japanese.
The shower has hot water! The shower is located right before the toilet, so the floor in front of the toilet and sink can get wet. However, it's not an issue if you wear the hotel's slippers.
We didn't see any bugs, which was a plus.
There's a water dispenser (with hot water available) on the ground floor in the common area, along with instant coffee and other amenities.
I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Jiufen! We took a bus back to Taipei at 11 AM the next day, and the bus was empty, even though it was a weekday.
SsorloMy family and I stayed at the Yun Estate Hotel this past December, and we had a truly lovely time. Nestled in a quiet area, the hotel offers the perfect sense of serenity and escape from the usual hustle and bustle.
The absolute highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the accommodation. The room was incredibly spacious, but the game-changer was the private in-room hot spring. It provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all of us, and the kids absolutely loved splashing around in the warm water.
We opted to have breakfast delivered to our room, which was a convenient and nice touch in theory. The presentation of the food was absolutely beautiful but it looked way better than it tasted, unfortunately. While the meal wasn't bad, the flavor didn't quite match the high standard of the presentation.
For the little ones, the hotel is a dream. There is a playroom where they can watch movies, as well as a mini race track where they can drive electric cars. To top it off, the unlimited supply of drinks and snacks was a huge hit with them, making the stay feel extra special.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and are already looking forward to returning in the near future. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing retreat.
GGuest UserCons: Check-out was at 11 AM, and they called at 10:30 AM to remind me, which I found quite intrusive. I've stayed in so many hotels around the world, and this is the first time a hotel has called to rush me out before check-out time. They called it a friendly reminder, but it really felt like they were just urging me to leave, which left a very bad impression.
Also, the items displayed in the room had Chinese descriptions, making me feel like I was in China.
Pros: The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. The bathroom had a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak. Overall, it was clean.
AAnonymous UserThe location is super convenient—right on the airport MRT line and directly across from Sanchong Station. Around the hotel, there’s a local supermarket, Starbucks, and even a mall with lots of restaurants, so finding food is really easy.
We also got a free room upgrade, which was such a nice surprise. The bed was HUGE (felt like 240x200!) and the room itself was super spacious. Overall, super happy with the stay!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is very conveniently located- near bus stops and a short walk away from the MRT Sanchong Station.
The hotel staff are accommodating and very helpful. The building is dated but well-maintained.
If I go back to Taiwan, will probably stay in this hotel again. PIt has become home in the week that I stayed there.
台台中阿源The reception staff was very friendly. I didn't have dinner there. The equipment was a bit old. Breakfast was available the next day, but it was simple. There was nothing special to order. I had thick slices, boiled eggs, and tomatoes that day. The air was pretty good.
