"This is a lovely hotel with excellent staff. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and professional (except that we saw one or two members of staff eating behind the reception on more than one occasion, which is not professional).
The hotel itself is very modern and very clean, but the claim on the hotel website that each room has air condition is not true. The rooms have a heating and cooling system, but the cooling system is not air conditioning and does not let out cool air in the winter and spring.
The problem is that, due to climate change, March is much warmer than it used to be. If you are staying in one of the lovely 4th floor suites and the sun is shining, the temperature can easily reach the mid-20s and the room retains that warmth at night. This morning, it was 25 Celsius in our room, and over the coming days it will be much warmer. In a few more weeks, it will be uncomfortably warm without air conditioning or a functioning cooling system. Regardless of where you are in the world, air conditioning is air conditioning. It has no other name. The words air conditioning should not appear on the hotel website. It is misleading.
Despite this issue, we had an enjoyable stay and we can recommend the hotel and the staff."
"In fact, the hotel is quite good. My room was clean and breakfast satisfactory. Unfortunately, as often as in other hotels, the service was under-occupied and therefore partly over-charged. However, everyone was struggling and always friendly. I would stay here again. Since the Lori restaurant is only 10 minutes walk and definitely worth a visit."
"Good location right near metro station , accessible to everywhere
Friendly staff , good breakfast, clean room, hot water, kitchen area in room
Gray and really good price"
"Hotel is new and clean. Interior design was a bit wonky and not quite similar to IHG brands. There was a huge chair between the bed and the path to the bathroom that was just in the way. But overall was very good.
Negatives were: 1. Had to call desk to get towels and blanket. Housekeeping failed to leave appropriate amount. 2. Breakfast was ok but a bit lacking compared to many EU hotels."
"Location: About a fifteen-minute walk from the train station, on the edge of the old town. It's roughly a fifteen-minute walk to the castle as well. Convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining.
Room: The hygiene was decent, and the facilities were up to standard.
Service: The front desk staff had a very poor attitude."
"Breakfast is great and the staff are friendly. But for a 4 star, the bedding feels a bit old and poor. The location is near the residential area, so it's quiet, but it's outside than I thought, so transportation is a bit inconvenient for sightseeing in the city."
"I was looking for a cheap, value-for-money hotel near the German Christmas market, and I stayed here. The location was perfect, and the hot water was good."
"The location is very close to the train station, but the hotel entrance can be a bit hard to find. If you need to use the elevator, just press the yellow button next to the door.
The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and allowed me to check in early (at 11 AM), so the service was excellent.
The room size was great, and all the facilities were complete, including a wardrobe, hangers, a fan, and a drying rack."
"Nice hotel on the outskirts of Nuremberg, large room, several buildings + a specialty restaurant. The only thing I didn't like so much was the breakfast buffet, which could have been a little more varied. The service didn't make any effort to greet the few guests who were there or to ask if they wanted anything else. I would have liked to order scrambled eggs, but there was simply no one where I could order them."

Amazing
HH MatthiasMelter was the best place I stayed in throughout my Germany trip. It was in the centre of the old town, right above the Lorenzkirche U-bahn, 3-5 mins walk from the Hauptbahnof, and only steps away from everything you might need - bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and all the highlights. It's a 10-15 min slightly uphill but beautiful walk to the Castle.
The property was extremely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and stylish. Was given an upgrade by Jacqueline (or Jackie) to a studio with a kitchenette overlooking a quaint street; good for cooking. Spacious room, comfortable bed, and beautiful bathroom with nice soaps. Only complaint could be that some rooms (216-219) are not accessible by lift, and require a winding (confusing at first) walk through long corridors to reach, but it was OK for me. Laundry room also had detergent provided; gym was adequate. Did not have breakfast, but had lunch twice at Monki downstairs - impeccable ramen.
Overall, this would be a great choice when in Nuremberg. Affordable, beautiful, comfortable, and convenient; and lovely staff - everyone of them took great care of me. Even granted late checkout. Will highly recommend this place.
GGuest UserGreat location, very convenient for getting around! The lobby and rooms are stylish and elegant, and the room was very quiet with excellent soundproofing. The bedding was comfortable and soft, and the hygiene and overall environment were pleasant and satisfactory. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
JJeon Soo NeoLocation and amenities are nice but front office staff is in a weird state.
The first guy who checked us in looked rather disheveled. You could literally look through the shirt that was also messy to begin with. One guy during night shift seemed cold towards guests and was not inclined to be helpful while the two ladies during early shift put their priority on looking at TikToks and whatnot right infront of guests.
Being casual is one thing but making guests feel like an afterthought might be pushing it. If there is a front office manager they might want to rethink how things are handled.
Cleaning staff and breakfast staff were professional and welcoming.
RRWidyastutiThe reason I chose this hostel is its affordable price (8 beds femare room - in one big room), located close to Nürnberg Hbf (only 1 stop using U-Bahn), and the bunk bed has a curtain (the most important thing, since it gives you privacy). The shared bathroom is clean and has two showers and two toilets. This hostel also (surprisingly) has a well equipped kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. You can cook by yourself and eat your food in its nice kitchen (there are some chairs and tables with sockets). I will definitely stay in this hostel again if I come to Nürnberg.
GGuest UserThe room was clean and the hotel was in an excellent location, very convenient. The hotel staff was prompt and friendly. Would recommend to friends. The hotel is in the central square, within easy reach of several major churches and shops
GGuest UserI found it just a short walk from DB station.
It's also about a 10-minute walk to the old town.
The B&B breakfasts weren't very appealing so I ate outside.
The room key is a pin code so it's easy.
Nothing special was done when checking out.
AAnonymous UserConvenient location, close to flixbus stop, hpf and town centre. Luggages can be stored before check-in, free of charge but the area is unlocked. No check-out process is needed because they use password code instead of card key.
GGuest UserThis is actually my favorite German hotel. It is an automated unmanned hotel. Of course, there are also waiters to do the cleaning. There is an office area inside, and it is all entered through a mobile phone. For foreign tourists, it can avoid a lot of embarrassment due to language barriers. There is also a kitchen and a TV, which is very good. The hotel is very new and the hygiene is also good.
XXindawutaidadashuStaying in a private room at this hostel still felt great, even among younger travelers. The room was spacious and very well-designed. The lobby's decor is perfect for young people, and it was lively in the evenings. As expected, there was some street noise from passing vehicles in my room facing the road; something to note if you're sensitive to that. The train station is about a 10-minute walk away.
YYaoayaoyaoThe room is not small, but the facilities are too simple. There is nothing except two rolls of paper towels in the toilet. And every day, facing the same German breakfast, I just want to go home quickly. The most important thing is that the price of this hotel is ridiculously expensive during the exhibition. If the room rate is not so expensive, everything else is not a problem.
