"A nice hotel, a very large room, a shower and a jacuzzi, they brought water and coffee, and gave you an adapter for the outlet. The hairdryer was taped shut, though. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and bubble bath. But there were no slippers or robes. For some reason, there weren't enough towels; they were small, but overall they were adequate and changed daily.
I wouldn't recommend their restaurant (in the hotel): the pizza was okay, but the soup and pasta were completely unimpressive, and I felt sick afterwards. It's better to check out nearby places with good ratings and go there. Breakfast is okay, not the most varied, but you won't go hungry."
"I stayed at ibis Hotel Quito for a three nights and really enjoyed my time there. The hotel is clean, modern, and in a super convenient location — close to restaurants, shops, and easy access to main attractions around the city.
The staff were all really friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or give local tips. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed — comfy bed, good Wi-Fi, and hot shower (which I really appreciated after a long day out!).
Breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, and the coffee was great too. The hotel also felt very safe, which made my stay even more relaxing.
Overall, it was a great experience — simple, comfortable, and excellent value for money. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Quito"

"Very nice hotel, the room is spacious and bright, with large floor-to-ceiling windows, we live on the 11th floor overlooking the beautiful Quito street view. The staff is warm and friendly, the service is good, the hotel is in a good location, and it is very convenient to visit the old town."
"The hotel is located in the Marshal District, surrounded by many restaurants and bars to choose from. The hotel facilities are very old. The size of the double room is relatively small and there is not enough space for luggage. The hotel breakfast is very simple, only bread and coffee. The hygiene of the room is not good. Living here is also far from the main scenic spots, which is not very convenient."

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe service and care I received from Old town suites Quito is the best that I ever received for all the hotels I have stayed. My flight arrived at Quito in the early morning around 6:40am, I got to the hotel around 7:40am, hotel front desk employee Francisco took my luggages, provided me power cord to charge my phone, and even gave me a delicious breakfast. I felt I have been welcomed into my new home in Quito.
The hotel provided milk, yogurt, bread, juice, cheese, eggs, ham, vegetables and fruits for making breakfast yourself or you can tell them ahead of time and they can prepare breakfast for you. I have had amazing experience in this hotel.
The hotel location is great and you can walk to old town attractions. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito.
GGuest UserThe room is very large and beautiful, the floor height is very high, the roof is very beautiful, in the city center, surrounded by attractions, breakfast is OK, continue to live here next time
MMister StephenThe reason I booked this hotel was because of the superb reviews. I can confirm the accuracy of those reviews. This is a fabulous place to stay. The staff are great. The facilities are exceptional. The restaurant is wonderful and has such a variety of delicious food. The health pool has crystal clear water. My room was much larger than what I'm used to over the last five weeks of traveling. It is easy to get the concierge to book excursions. There are airline check-in machines in the foyer. This is easily the best hotel I have stayed in over the past five weeks and comes with my highest recommendation.
AAnonymous UserGood customer service. My single occupancy room wasn't huge, but it was big wrought and had a big windows that could open for fresh air. HOT WATER in the sinks and showers (thank heavens!). The wifi was slow, but it worked well enough. The front desk is 24/7. The location is also good with many shops, restaurants, grocery stores, public transport stops, ATMs, and more around. I'd stay here again.
WWulixiaozhuNo air conditioning, so no heating, the quilt is too thin, the bed cover is a blanket, too heavy, a series of operations that I don't understand? Maybe it's for a strong or fat person to sleep.
The rooftop scenery is beautiful, you can go up and see.
Is it really unthinkable that there are no slippers?
It's better to live in a Chinese homestay (。_í。)
It is worthy of praise: the friend's mobile phone fell into the taxi, the handsome guy at the front desk worked very hard to actively help find someone, chase the phone, thank you very much
In addition, remember to tip your babies when you go out.
JJeremy LeeeeThe facilities at this hotel are somewhat outdated, and the decor feels a bit old-fashioned. It would be great to see some modernization in these areas. That said, the view from the upper floors is fantastic and definitely a highlight of the stay. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and tasty options. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but upgrading the facilities and decor would significantly improve the stay.

Absolutely Outstanding Stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette!
My stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette was nothing short of exceptional. It’s by far the cleanest hotel in all of Ecuador—absolutely spotless in every corner. The entire property is beautifully maintained, quiet, and filled with elegant touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming.
The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and truly professional. They offered excellent local recommendations and always treated me with kindness and care.
The location is ideal—tucked in a peaceful part of La Mariscal, just a short walk from Plaza Foch and some of Quito’s best restaurants and shops. My room was quiet, stylish, and very comfortable, with a serene garden view that made me feel instantly relaxed.
Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The entire experience felt safe, polished, and perfectly cared for.
If you’re looking for elegance, cleanliness, and world-class service, Hotel Villa Lafayette is simply the best choice in Ecuador. I would return in a heartbeat!
GGuest UserGood: In Quito hotels, xoe's TV should be first or second best.
Bad: sleeping is particularly uncomfortable, even I will doubt that the last tenant has not cleaned up after leaving, I will feel itchy when I lie down, this quilt feels like it has been used for 5 years, even the cotton has been washed off. I suggest replacing a new quilt and four-piece suit and strengthening the cleaning.
