"The service was wonderful. The staff were genuinely friendly, not just smiling because they had to. I had an issue with my room, and it was resolved very quickly and with great kindness. The hotel is located close to a market with several restaurants and two supermarkets, one of which is open 24 hours a day. It is also very close to Sea Life and the roller coaster attractions, making it a great choice for families and anyone planning to visit those areas. If your main goal is to visit the city centre, there are several bus routes and a tram stop right in front of the hotel. You can also rent a bike or an e-scooter and enjoy the ride through the park, which is a lovely option in good weather. If the weather is bad, the location is less convenient for getting to the city centre. However, when it isn't raining or extremely cold, the location is excellent and offers a much quieter, greener environment. One feature I really liked was the hotel's fantastic guest kitchen. I didn't use it myself, but it looked ideal for families travelling with children or for anyone planning a longer stay. The hotel also has a gym, a lovely rooftop terrace, and complimentary laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes free of charge. There is also a sauna and a steam room, which are a great bonus after a day of sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with children or for travellers who don't need to be in the city centre all the time and would rather enjoy the surrounding parks and forests while still having easy access to the main attractions."

"1. The price is moderate, about 100.0 to 120.0 EUR per night, and the accommodation quality is good. 2. The room view is decent, and the room itself is very clean. 3. The hotel does not have a restaurant. For breakfast, you need to go to 'Cafe Roasberg' next to the hotel. It's a standard European breakfast, but as an Asian, I can't objectively rate it because I personally prefer Asian cuisine. 4. Both check-in and check-out were very easy. If I had any questions, I could easily find the hotel staff to ask."

"Nice hotel and great breakfast BUT I was staying there as my mum was in hospital with an undetermined leave date, so had to book again when she was not allowed to leave. Even though I booked again the same day I checked out, they would not let me into the room until 1pm (unless I paid an early fee) despite the person behind the desk knowing my situation. So for me poor customer experience and not an understanding company considering how many customers must be there for same reason."

"With a very cheap price for a hotel very closed to the central station, I can’t say any bad word. I booked a cheapest room with breakfast. It is a not luxury, but a small room which has everything and everything works fine. Beds are so soft and comfy, I slept really well. Breakfast is really good. I can’t believe this is a breakfast from a cheap hotel, much much better than many of pricey hotels I’d stayed."

"Clean and new looking. Online check-in and check-out work well. Just be aware that you can online check-in even if your room is not available yet and no one will tell you when it is available — you will have to sit around and go to check the availability from the self-service check-in every once in a while. When I asked staff at the desk, they just said the check-in is at 16 and they don’t know about the availabilities and that I should try the self-service again in half an hour intervals. Breakfast was good, was hoping to find more fresh fruit and common breakfast drinks like orange juice and hot chocolate. The room could’ve had something to place shoes on, especially during winter all the snow just melted directly onto the floorboards."

"This hotel boasts a great location, very convenient for taking tram lines 4/10, and the breakfast is fantastic! It's close to all the attractions in Helsinki, and the rooms are quite clean too. However, be aware that all Scandic hotels in the Nordics have self-service luggage storage with no staff supervision, so don't leave any valuables there!"

"Great value and good service. Really like the gym and sauna as it’s top class. I was able to get late checkout with my IHG profile. The hotel is not at the city centre so it’s quiet but it’s close enough with a quick bus or light rail tram from central station. Only negative is that the breakfast, while good, is quite expensive."

"This was a great hotel! The check-in and check-out were quick, and the front desk service was excellent. Plus, they had a fantastic selection of teas (Rooibos, Chai, green tea, and something else) and coffee (even pots of milk and oat milk!) – I couldn't ask for more. There's a microwave next to the front desk, and the elevator is inside, which makes everything very convenient. The location is also good, close to the central station, so you shouldn't get lost. Personally, I was happy to have a TV, haha. Watching news and documentaries in Finnish is quite interesting. Even though it was a single room, it was quite spacious. I didn't have a suitcase, but you could probably open up at least three of the largest suitcases in there. The shower was clean, a hairdryer was provided, and the abundance of power outlets everywhere is something many people would appreciate."
