"Location is great right next to Malmi train station and bus station, only roughly 20mins ride away from Helsinki centre. Cleaning can be done a bit better at the edges, dust is fairly visible. Hair dryer can be borrowed from the service station on each floor, but they only got two on each floor to share. Shower door is not fully blocking water from getting out, though there’s a drain on the other side of the bathroom but shower water shouldn’t go that way. Washer and dryer are free to use, just have to book it by writing your room number in the book at the laundry room. There’s share space and sauna. Staff is not there 24/7 so it’s a bit tricky to get help outside hours, especially when arriving on weekends and expected to store luggage way before the check in time, it is impossible . Overall I would stay here again, just need to plan things out accordingly. Also a place suitable for long stay."

"Spotless clean studio apartment. Great service. Few minutes walk to the nearest metro station from the Helsinki city centre and the roihuvuori cherry tree park. Overall, amazing place to stay especially when the cherry blossom is full bloom."

"Amazing accommodation! Near the nature, near the sea. Room is clean and quiet which is a plus for getaway trip. Hotel restaurant offers breakfast buffet, also serves tasty and fresh dinner meal which definitely worth the price. Girls at the reception and restaurant are very helpful. Overall, beyond expectation, will definitely revisit again"

"I originally reserved a quiet room for me, but we were put directly above the bar because this is why we had to change the room and we did not receive any compensation in the course of the exchange. From the room itself where we also exchanged away found initially a breakfast this we were, however, taken away from the room. But at the end, when we got the room changed it helped a little but it would have been great if we had got some compensation or something taken to the room that would have become even better fix."

"Fully self-contained apartment hotel. There is no front desk, enter with a password. The room is quite big, clean, tidy and comfortable, with pots and pans for cooking. The whole room is full of Scandinavian design. Suitable for a family of four to six people. Good hotel, recommended!"

"When I booked, I fancy this hotel with a good location, right next to the tikkurila train station. It is very convenient to stay in whether it is from the airport or by train from another city. Finnish hotels are not cheap, and this chain is not bad. There are still some tableware and kettles in the room, you can take a light meal, but the range hood really didn't understand it, there is no pipe, and the smoke is directly from the top. The smoke is still in the room. Self-service check-in, no front desk, poor survivability is a bit challenging. The hotel has a shared washing machine, which is good."

On the villa’s ground floor, there is a shared living room and dining area that seats 12 people. The separate kitchen is well-equipped. The ground floor also has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and a sofa bed for extra sleeping space, while the other (with a folding door) has two beds and a work desk. On the ground floor, there is a separate bathroom (shower and toilet). "I stayed in a joint shower, toilet room.
Cheap in Helsinki hotels
However, it was far from the city center, so the transportation cost was that much.
The location of the hotel is in District B and you can come by bus 77 from the central station
The hotel had a kitchen and was able to cook.
I had to prepare oil, salt and forks myself.
There were three supermarkets in a little walk.
There were several showers, and I think the best was right behind the kitchen.
The refrigerator in the room is not very cold
It was inconvenient that the reception door was often closed."

GGuest UserThe service was wonderful. The staff were genuinely friendly, not just smiling because they had to. I had an issue with my room, and it was resolved very quickly and with great kindness.
The hotel is located close to a market with several restaurants and two supermarkets, one of which is open 24 hours a day. It is also very close to Sea Life and the roller coaster attractions, making it a great choice for families and anyone planning to visit those areas. If your main goal is to visit the city centre, there are several bus routes and a tram stop right in front of the hotel. You can also rent a bike or an e-scooter and enjoy the ride through the park, which is a lovely option in good weather. If the weather is bad, the location is less convenient for getting to the city centre. However, when it isn't raining or extremely cold, the location is excellent and offers a much quieter, greener environment.
One feature I really liked was the hotel's fantastic guest kitchen. I didn't use it myself, but it looked ideal for families travelling with children or for anyone planning a longer stay.
The hotel also has a gym, a lovely rooftop terrace, and complimentary laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes free of charge. There is also a sauna and a steam room, which are a great bonus after a day of sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with children or for travellers who don't need to be in the city centre all the time and would rather enjoy the surrounding parks and forests while still having easy access to the main attractions.

Cleanliness: Very good, didn't notice anything out of place.
Ambiance: Grand and luxurious.

GGuest UserScandic Helsinki Hub has been my go to hotel since 2022. This Economy King Room without window is the first i tried and i really think it helps with the midnight sun that Finland is having during summer. It has rooftop windows and there are retractable blackout curtains controlled via the wall to help darken the room if you think the sun is too much, got dark only at 11pm but not completely dark. Breakfast is the typical European breakfast and really love the yoghurt with the optional berry mix. Lovely hotel!

AAnonymous UserThe room was spacious and had air conditioning. It's a bit of a walk to the bus stop, but the metro station is really close by. There's also a supermarket near the hotel. Breakfast is served at the cafe next door. If you have some free time, you can take a stroll around the lake in the nearby park, which is quite large and beautiful! BTW, it's definitely better than the Citybox in Tallinn!

In addition, the button disk on the left downstairs is not leading to the elevator room, not not not not! I booked a cheapest room with breakfast. It is a not luxury, but a small room which has everything and everything works fine. Beds are so soft and comfy, I slept really well.
Breakfast is really good. I can’t believe this is a breakfast from a cheap hotel, much much better than many of pricey hotels I’d stayed.

The room was very clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect—close to everything yet still quiet and comfortable. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
The amenities were also great, offering everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. As a couple, we especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful details.
Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!

There was a sink in the room, but the shower and toilet were shared.
The room felt a little dusty, but we could open the window for ventilation, so it wasn't a problem.
The bathroom was very clean, and there was no noticeable sewage smell.
There is only one shower, but it's fine if you time your showers right.
Towels provided in the room included one bath towel and one face towel, as well as body soap and shampoo.
The shared kitchen was very convenient, and we were able to cook and eat food we bought at the supermarket.
Coffee and tea were also available.
We were able to leave our luggage in the hallway when we checked out, and they held it for us.
If we visit Helsinki again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

MMs EllI love this place! If i ever come back to Finland i will definitely stay here again. It’s right in the city centre and walking distance to the main city’s attractions . You can even walk to Senate Square!! The place itself is very clean, very complete with kitchen appliances which and also Muslim friendly as it got bidet… it is easy to check in with the code as well!!
