Hotels near Sillon Beach, Saint Malo

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Saint-Malo. It is a perfect choice for those who want to experience the authentic charm of the walled city. It is located right in the Old Town. Within just a few minutes' walk, you can reach the city’s best creperies, ice cream shops, and the historic ramparts. The room features a lovely balcony which was a great surprise. While the elevator is small, it is functional and sufficient for the stay. The staff at the front desk are exceptionally warm and welcoming. I was even gifted some Easter chocolates, which was such a thoughtful and professional touch. Considering the location and the quality of the stay, the price is very reasonable and affordable. I am very satisfied with my choice and would definitely stay here again!

The sleeping area was good, the mattress was comfortable, and I slept well. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they also provided a map and useful information about the Intra-Muros area. However, several other aspects need improvement. The bathroom showerhead had mold, so I did not want to use it, and although the rain shower was acceptable, the water pressure was low. On windy days in Saint-Malo, it was impossible to enjoy a comfortable hot shower. The breakfast was average, and the hygiene was only fair; I saw flies landing on the food and honey. A kettle was provided, but the one in my room was rusty, so I was not comfortable using it. Overall, I was disappointed. Considering it is a four-star hotel, I do not think it was worth the price.

Bright and spacious room. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary utensils. Detergent for the dishwasher was also provided. We were able to stay in a warm room with heating in the room. The room had a view of the ocean and was very comfortable and spacious. I also enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was simple western food, but local yogurt and lots of bread were served. Next time I would be happy to prepare breakfast in the room kitchen.

All Accor Group hotel chains are a little higher than Ibis, the room is very good and relatively spacious, the breakfast is rich, and the service is very thoughtful. Linhai coastline. The price is average. It is relatively far from the train station. There are still several restaurants around. Going to the old town is relatively close.

The room was clean but small, like all other Ibis places. There was no fridge in the room, but a microwave and filtered water at the lobby. So I could make my own hot water.

Accor Group hotel chain. Near the entrance of the old city gate. The facilities are better but the building is relatively old. The commercial street in the old city is more convenient, and the Carrefour supermarket is cheaper.

L'hôtel dispose d'une literie très confortable et les chambres d'une bonne isolation phonique. Les salles de bain manquent d'étagère pour y poser les trousses de toilettes et les serviettes ne peuvent pas être plus fines... Dommage. Le petit déjeuner est correct, mais je déplore le fromage épais comme une feuille de cigarette emballé dans du plastique. Comment en est on encore là ? Saucisses et bacon sont présents, mais pas d’œufs brouillés ! En revanche, le pain et les confitures sont délicieux. En résumé, bien, mais peut améliorer quelques détails pour être au top.

Bed and towels are clean, water is hot, it's the most important. Overall the apartments are clean enough. Only the floor was a little dusty. Staff is kind, location is good: near the supermarket, to the center of minutes 10-15 on foot. To the station is also close, too near 10-15 minutes. The instructions in the room are written to throw away the garbage. We sorted everything but it was not clear where to throw. It turned out to be a room on the bottom floor. It was difficult to find: no signature.

The location is super convenient, just a few minutes walk after getting off the bus. The room facilities are complete and the service is good, and you can store your luggage. There are many choices of restaurants downstairs.

A budget hotel far from the city center. Reception is open until 9 PM; after that, you must check in directly using the machine outside. The Trip.com booking number isn't valid; you need to contact the hotel directly (the hotel's email address is provided in the contact information after booking). They responded a few days later with the booking number we needed to use. If we hadn't contacted them directly, we would have ended up sleeping on the street (it was impossible to reach us by phone).
