Excellent! Both the location and room facilities were great. The charging outlets in the room are compatible with most international plugs, so no adapter is needed. The front desk service was also very good and friendly.

True to its reputation as one of the best hotels in Yogyakarta, the staff here are exceptionally well-trained. The location is great for getting around, as it's a direct and quick walk to Malioboro Street. Regarding the room condition, the shower head was a bit problematic, and while the room itself was clean, a stubborn stain on the sofa was a bit bothersome. The pool and breakfast were excellent. The breakfast, in particular, offered a fantastic variety, making it a joy to choose from. Given the price point, you might hesitate, but even a one-night stay would be a truly worthwhile experience.

For me the room is nice not too small.. I like the interior even very simple but cozy. A bit dissappointed because I was booked the room with double bed but they said twin bed, coz its late and am so tired I just accepted the room that overed to me. The next day I have chance to check my booking from Trip.com it's written 1 double room.. just input for the hotel, just be real if you don't had any double bed again just said sorry the room not available anymore instead of you said I made wrong booking.. The room rate is cheap coz had free breakfast even with very simple menu but complete courses.. have appetizer, main course and dessert as well fresh fruits, coffee, tea and infussed water.. The room service price menu for me its cheap as well. Had Burger King excatly beside the hotel.. Parking area as well big enough..

A stunning collection of traditional decorative pieces, and the corridors always smell amazing. The service and breakfast were excellent—even with some communication challenges, the staff really tried their best. The dinner buffet isn’t recommended as the variety is quite limited. The location is fantastic, right in the city centre. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

This is one of the hotels in Jogja that is worth staying at. The rooms are clean, the service is very friendly, and they are very helpful if there are any issues. When I stay at a hotel, the most important thing for me is the toilet. The day before, I stayed at another hotel with much better reviews than this one, but in reality, it wasn't good – the toilet was dirty, dark, and very dusty. Plus, even though I requested a non-smoking room, it still smelled of cigarettes. This hotel, even though it's older, is very well-maintained. It truly left a good impression! 🥰🥰 God willing, I will stay here again if I come to Jogja. Notes: Honestly, I think the food is just average, but not bad either. There isn't a huge variety, but it's okay 👍🏻 (For me, the room is the main focus). The swimming pool isn't very big, but it's clean and well-maintained 👍🏻

The hotel's location is strategic, making it easy to get around as it's in the city center and close to Tugu, Malioboro, UGM, and the street food market in front of the hotel.

We stayed for an International running event. Majority of our group western. The hotel does not serve or stock alcohol, which the group was not informed of. The town has changed remarkably in 12 years. The rooms are being upgraded however some didn’t have a safe or refrigerator. The bathrooms are small and have mould spots in the silicon sealant. The service from the front desk staff was excellent given they probably haven’t dealt with such a large group of foreigners before. Breakfast was local food and quite good but sometimes took some time to get your order.

I stayed at Hotel griya jogja for 1 night and overall my experience was very pleasant. The location is strategic, close to the city center and tourist attractions. The check-in process was fast and the reception staff was very friendly and helpful. the rooms are clean and comfortable,with complete facilities such as air conditioning,tv,and water heater for tea/coffee.the beds are soft and the bathrooms are also cleaned.wifi is available throughout the hotel area and the connection is quite stable. the breakfast is varied and tastes good,although the dining room is a bit crowded on weekends.the extra facilities such as swimming pool and gym are also good enough for this class hotel. The only shortcoming is the sound from outside the room is a little audible, especially if there are noisy guests in the hallway. But overall, I am satisfied and will most likely come back to stay here if visit again.

There were quite a few small cockroaches in the room. The TV wasn't working and had no channels. The location was okay and the room facilities were okay.
