My stay at Hotel Bristol Palace was truly delightful. The hotel is exceptionally elegant, with stunning classic decoration that gives it a timeless charm. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed and beautifully maintained.
The staff were highly professional—polite, attentive, and genuinely insightful in offering recommendations and local information, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city, and the overall cleanliness was impeccable throughout the stay. The buffet breakfast was another highlight, offering a great variety and quality to start the day right.
A refined and comfortable stay—I would absolutely return.

Anonymous UserThe building is nicely located - 5 mins walk to Genova Brignole Station, few mins to Via San Vicenzo. It is a historical palazzo with very nice entryway and public spaces. The rooms itself was tidy and nice, with a beautiful balcony. The hosts are extremely welcoming and provided useful informations on the city, also some extras to the room like cookies :)

The appearance of the hotel was very good. The reception area was very clean and quiet. Each floor had an automatic air freshener which meant that the hotel smelt very good. The hotel room had a lovely big bed which was very comfortable. There was a fridge and kettle in the room.
The hotel was a twenty minute bus ride from the center of Genoa and once we had downloaded the app it was very easy to buy tickets. The number 1 bus is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and the bus is every 11 minutes.
We discovered a lovely area to eat on the day we left. Leave the hotel and turn right. At the traffic lights turn right . After about three minutes you will find a shopping area with restaurants. We were short of time so went to Tumbler. The staff were very friendly and we had lovely panini.
On the negative side, we were woken at 6am with a male shouting very loudly in his room. Later that day, the man was shouting again. I went outside our room and the man was shouting very loudly at a lady in his room. There was a very clear domestic abuse situation with the man hitting the woman which I tried to stop and also contacted reception. Reception asked the lady if there was any problem and she said no so the receptionist left. I said to the receptionist that the man was being violent towards the woman and she said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could put security on the floor in case anything further happened and she said no. I felt the receptionist could have done a lot more in this situation. I imagine that these situations do occur from time to time so the hotel should give staff guidance on the steps to take to safeguard clients.
I felt that the staff at the hotel were not very welcoming. I saw at least four receptionist and not one of them smiled or looked happy to be working. Any time I approached them for information they gave the information but without smiling and were very unenthusiastic..
I would stay at the hotel again as it is convenient for the airport and quieter than staying in the centre. It is also very clean and I got a good night's sleep.
Be aware, we booked a taxi from the airport which is 1.1 km away and we're charged 18,50 euros.

Guest UserThe hotel’s location was in a more residential area so was quieter than other hotels in the city centre. It took only about 10mins walking to get to the historic city centre
though. Hotel room was very spacious and clean. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food. There’re a few eateries and bars close by as well as a convenience store. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful .

We had a very comfortable stay and really enjoyed the hotel. A great bonus was being able to use the amenities of the neighboring 5-star hotel. The location is perfect, right next to the Genova train station.
The only minor issue was the beautiful antique elevator, which was not always reliable because the doors had to be closed manually, and some guests did not do this properly, which occasionally meant the elevator would not work and we had to take the stairs instead.
Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay again.

The worst Novotel I've ever stayed in, bar none. The space was acceptable and the service was enthusiastic, but the stains on the towels and sheets seemed to have never been changed. Since I was driving from southern Italy to southern France as a stopover, the location was very convenient for me, close to the highway exit.

Very conveniently located near the station, to go was close.
Breakfast is simple but there is a choice : yoghurt, cruissans, cheese, fruit.
Sufficient towels, the only - floor is quite cool , it is necessary to walk in slippers.

This Holiday Inn in Genoa truly impressed me! The rooms boast a decidedly modern design, yet are tastefully adorned with classic oil paintings, murals, and exquisite decorative touches. This instantly imbues the space with a rich artistic ambiance, making it feel like a truly aesthetic haven where contemporary style meets timeless art. Setting a high standard for service, every interaction, from check-in to room service, showcased professionalism and genuine care. The cleanliness was absolutely impeccable, resulting in a flawless and truly perfect stay. The breakfast spread was particularly impressive, offering a wide and varied selection to satisfy every palate. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, making getting around incredibly convenient. The only minor drawback was the slightly convoluted route to the parking garage, but this small issue absolutely pales in comparison to the overall excellence. The entire experience was flawless, and I will undoubtedly choose this hotel again on my next trip to Genoa!

Guest UserIt was handy for an early flight. We could walk to terminal in two minutes. Aircon was good in the June heatwave.
But check in was perfunctory. No info given re bar or area. Hotel was quite shabby. Dirty windows, unhoovered carpets , marked walls. Duvets were lumpy. Shower and towels ok, mattress ok. Glad it was just for one night
