The room facilities are brand new. Each floor has an ice maker, and a microwave is conveniently available on the ground floor. It's located near a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven, and just a 5-minute walk from the tram station. There's even an eggplant ramen shop nearby. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay here.

This is one of the best guesthouses I have stayed at so far, and I highly recommend it. The bedrooms are semi-private, so you can maintain a fair amount of privacy even though it is a guesthouse. The interior is decorated in white, giving it a clean feel. The location is close to Chinatown and the shopping district, making it convenient for sightseeing. The staff are also very friendly. A simple but complimentary breakfast is included. This is a guesthouse I would like to use again if I have the opportunity.

We are coming with family occupied two rooms. Front office staff are very nice and arrange us on the same floor. The rooms are big enough to open two large suitcases. The double bed is so huge that can sleep three people. The only complaint is the car park arrangement, this information need to post in the website for us to aware in advance as the carpark is not on the same building and there is no space to park the car for unloading the luggages. The front office staff only tell us we cannot drive through the building at that time cars cannot enter. We need to park to two designated parking areas which make us in a hurry to drive away the car.

Stayed one night in this hotel, the interior is new and clean. The mini self service cafe at the reception is very welcoming, they even provide take away cup for guests to bring the coffee/tea to the room, I find this is a thoughtful gesture.
This hotel has good variety of amenities, the room is compact and functional, good for solo travelers. There is a microwave in the room to heat up the food, and humidifier at the common area if you ever needed one. I personally like the public bath a lot, especially the outdoor pool. The room has the body wash and shampoo, other toiletries can be self service from the reception.
Not forget about the location, just a stone throw away from 2 tram stations, basically you could travel around Nagasaki from these 2 tram stations.
One thing worth mentioning is, the bus no 5 that goes to Inasa-yama park cable care and slope care station, is just few minutes from the hotel, which is a pleasant surprise and saves me a lot of time when I was trying to find my way to the park.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay in this hotel, highly recommend it!

The Nagasaki Shianbashi Richmond Hotel, a 3-star business hotel, underwent renovation in 2023 and boasts excellent overall quality. The hotel's strongest asset is its prime location – Shianbashi tram station is just a one-minute walk away, and JR Nagasaki Station is a quick 10-minute ride. The Hamamachi shopping district and Shinchi Chinatown are also within easy walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for shopping sprees or savoring local delicacies like Nagasaki Chawanmushi and sushi.
The guest rooms are equipped with practical amenities, including air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a flat-screen TV. A thoughtful touch is the option to request daily housekeeping service directly via the TV. The beds are comfortable, and some room types offer ample space, ensuring families don't feel cramped. The 24-hour front desk staff are communicative and provide warm service, promptly addressing guest inquiries such as parking directions and transportation advice for sightseeing.
In terms of hotel facilities, a laundry room, free WiFi, and self-check-in options are available, catering well to both business travelers and independent tourists. While some guests have noted the breakfast price of 2000 JPY to be a bit high, the extensive selection, including Nagasaki specialties, means its value for money can be subjective. It's worth noting that parking is available in a mechanical car park for a fee. While there are numerous restaurants on the ground floor beneath the hotel, especially at night, the soundproofing is decent and generally doesn't disturb sleep.
Overall, the hotel stands out for its convenient transportation, clean environment, and practical facilities. It's ideal for travelers prioritizing efficiency and value for money, comfortably meeting the basic needs of both business and leisure guests.

This was my first visit to Nagasaki, driven by my craving for Nagasaki Champon. The hotel is incredibly close to Chinatown, and with the festival currently underway, the location couldn't be better. There's a convenience store and plenty of restaurants nearby.
All the staff were very friendly, and I appreciated the guidebooks available for foreign guests in English, Chinese, and Korean, which was very convenient.
I would definitely stay here again. Thanks to them, I had a wonderful trip.
I'd like to thank all the hotel staff, and a special thank you to the male staff member working on the morning of February 18th. Happy New Year! :>

Great hotel, next to the Shinkansen station. Unfortunately no English speaking reception. Amenity bar is good and very clean. Only the bed is so small; you can’t call this a 2-personsbed! When they clean all rooms, they use the hallway for all linen and cleaning stuff, a bit unprofessiona

I've become a huge fan of Dormy Inn hotels! They offer incredible value for money, featuring hot springs, a generous breakfast, and even complimentary late-night ramen along with other sweet treats. Their locations are almost always prime, and this Nagasaki branch is no exception. It's less than a 300-meter walk from the airport bus stop, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. Plus, you'll find both Hiragi Ramen and a fantastic Saga beef restaurant just around the corner on a bustling food street.

Good location and quiet and comfortable rooms . Very nice bedding and good mattress .
No communal spaces in the hotel other than the lobby . No living room .
No laundry service at the weekend .
No English speaking staff and google translate didn’t seem to work for them which meant I had a lot of frustration in trying to find out some information .
If I spoke Japanese it would be a lot easier

Amazing
MMike MnshStaying at Hotel Indigo Nagasaki Glover Street was a highlight of our trip to Nagasaki. The hotel is beautifully designed with a distinct British colonial character that fits perfectly into the historic Glover Garden neighbourhood — stepping outside, you’re just moments from Oura Cathedral and some of Nagasaki’s most iconic sights.
The rooms are immaculate, stylishly appointed, and the bathrobes were a lovely touch after a day of sightseeing.
Breakfast at Restaurant Cathedréclat — set inside what feels like a converted chapel — was a real experience in itself, with a tasty Japanese option that was genuinely delicious.
The staff deserve a special mention: attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Service was flawless from check-in to check-out.
The only minor thing I’d flag — and it really is minor — is that the pillows are on the thin and soft side, which might not suit everyone who prefers a bit more support. A firmer pillow option would make this hotel absolutely perfect.
FFeixiangdexiaolingyunThis hotel is only a five-minute walk from Nagasaki Station. The room design is fantastic, and the separate toilet and bathroom are my favorite 'Dormy Inn' style. The hot spring bath was also very relaxing, though I missed out on the late-night ramen. I'll definitely stay here again in the future.
GGuest UserThe location is a bit off the beaten path, making it ideal for self-driving tourists. Due to its proximity to nature, you might occasionally encounter a few insects in the rooms, but the hotel is generally clean and well-maintained. It boasts a wide array of recreational facilities, along with services such as restaurants, hot springs, and massages. The pricing is reasonable, offering good value for money, so you can easily spend a full and enjoyable vacation without leaving the hotel. I highly recommend it for families looking for a relaxing getaway!
PPonyTaroA very comfortable hotel located just about 400 metres from Nagasaki Station, with a tram stop, bus stop, and a convenience store right at the doorstep. Getting around is incredibly easy, as it sits right in the heart of everything. Glover Garden, the Atomic Bomb Museum, Peace Park, and Chinatown are all just a few tram stops away. You can even walk to Mt. Inasayama in around 10 minutes, which makes visiting for the famous night view especially convenient.
The room was clean and cozy. The public bath was spacious, with multiple tubs to choose from. There are also laundry and dryer machines available (three of each), though you may need to time your usage a bit.
The breakfast was excellent, especially for those who enjoy Japanese-style options. It included a rotating selection of Nagasaki specialties such as champon, Goto udon, and sara udon. There were also breads, salads, and made-to-order egg dishes. However, it might feel a bit pricey if you do not prefer Japanese-style breakfasts, as they make up around 60% of the selection.
SShugerAmazing hotel stay at Fav Lux. We were pleasantly surprised that it is under the same group as Seven x Seven itoshima which we stayed a few days ago because the amenities and check in was exactly the same.
We love the spacious room and comfortable bed and pillows. The kitchen is good and the shower is very nice too. The coffee at reception is June Coffee and it is very good too.
We hope to stay here again.
GGuest UserLocation-wise, the hotel is conveniently right in front of the Ohato Station of the Nagasaki tramway system, and is a very walkable distance away from many attractions including Dejimamachi, Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown, and the Nagasaki Seaside Park. The cleanliness of the room and hallways was excellent and the front desk receptionists were kind and welcoming. The coin laundry room has 4 washing machines and 4 dryers (as of Sept 2025; do note that the coin laundry room feels like a free sauna when at least 4 machines are running), the wifi for guests worked consistently, and the smoke-free policy meant that no areas smelled of smoke. The air conditioning for the rooms was sufficiently cool, the lighting control and mini alarm clock by the bed worked well, and overall the room felt very cozy and comfortable to stay in. Because the single room has a relatively narrow entrance walkway, try to avoid bringing multiple pieces of large luggage as there may not be space to open them at the same time. I greatly enjoyed my stay here (especially it being my first solo trip), and would book it again if returning to Nagasaki in the future.
MMhom_jaoMy stay at the Coruscant Hotel Nagasaki was truly memorable. Here are some highlights:
• Stunning Architecture: The hotel building itself is a sight to behold, blending classic European design with modern amenities.
• Comfortable Rooms: The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring.
• Convenient Location: Situated in the heart of Nagasaki, the hotel provides easy access to popular attractions and transportation.
• Excellent Service: The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile.
Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Coruscant Hotel Nagasaki for anyone visiting the area.
DDr.p3pp3rThis hostel has some genuinely strong points, but also several issues that stop it from being a great stay. It’s very much a mix of highs and lows.
The positives:
The common room is comfortable, with very good sofas and fast Wi-Fi (though it occasionally drops out — a router upgrade would easily fix this). There’s a shared kitchen with a labelled fridge, and the location is excellent for exploring Nagasaki.
Dorm rooms are good value for the price. Bed spaces are a decent size, with excellent blackout curtains that block light even if others leave the lights on. You also get a small lockbox for valuables.
The negatives:
Check-in is fully self-service with no reception. You’re given a folder with rules and keys, but if you need help, there’s no clear support — which can be stressful, especially for travellers without phone SIMs.
There is no lift. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the narrow stairs make carrying luggage difficult.
Facilities per floor are also limited: only one toilet and one shower shared between multiple dorms, plus the washer and dryer on the same floor, which feels insufficient and awkward.
Extras are all paid separately (towels, toothbrushes, earplugs, etc.). A towel really should be included at this price. Guests are also expected to strip their own bedsheets at checkout, which feels excessive.
The common room layout could be improved. A large hammock takes up space and reduces seating — replacing it with chairs or bar seating would make the area far more usable. There were also staff or long-term workers frequently occupying the common room, which made the space feel less guest-focused.
Air conditioning is locked and cannot be adjusted, so if you’re too hot or cold, you have no control.
Would I stay again?
As a backpacker on a very tight budget, yes — tahe location and price make it workable. But if you can afford it, I’d recommend paying more for a private room nearby. There are many hotels in the area offering much better comfort and support.
__M1355235****It's located on a pretty steep hill, and there isn't much commercial activity around. You'll need to take a bus to get into the city center. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, conveniently named after the hotel itself. Make sure you get off at that stop; getting off even one or two stops earlier will mean a steep climb.
It's not far from the summit of Mount Inasa, and there's a direct bus. If you miss the bus after enjoying the night view, a taxi back to the hotel is only about a 5-minute ride and reasonably priced.
The hotel's own free rooftop observation deck is absolutely amazing, and enjoying a drink and the night view in the lounge is also very pleasant.
There's a shuttle bus service from the hotel to Nagasaki Station.
There's also a hot spring (onsen).
KKongjiekkkThis hotel is cost-effective and the location is okay. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the station. It is uphill to walk to the hotel. It is a bit tiring to push the big box. It is hygienic. Although it is a small hotel, it is very hygienic. The breakfast is okay and you can eat enough. , the waiter is very serious and the service is good. Worth recommending
