I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day. One of the best things about this place is its location—it’s just a short walk from the train station, making it extremely convenient for getting around the city. The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in was quick and smooth. Even though it’s close to the station, the room was quiet and peaceful at night. Overall, this hotel is a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and hassle-free stay. I would definitely come back again.

The hotel service was great, and the facilities were comprehensive. The semi-buffet breakfast was of excellent quality. The hotel's location is superb, being close to the train station, offering a quiet environment despite being in a bustling area. The best part is that you can see Mount Fuji from both the rooms and the rooftop observation deck, which is absolutely amazing!

I was pleasantly surprised to catch a partial glimpse of the top of Mount Fuji from my room, even though there were buildings obstructing part of the view. The room facilities were very new and well-equipped. I was particularly delighted that the room provided an electric grill, perfect for tabletop BBQ; we bought wagyu beef and fresh vegetables from the supermarket every night to grill. There was also a microwave, which was very convenient. The self-check-in process was smooth and easy. Shopping and dining options nearby were fantastic; there's a convenience store just a few minutes away, and across the street, there's a row of restaurants. Paid hot springs are also available in the vicinity.

Guest rooms with a view of Mt.Fuji/Large bath with a panoramic view of Mt.Fuji/2 hours from Tokyo

GGuest User 2026.05.02
The room was very spacious, with both a regular bed and a tatami mat available. The view was absolutely amazing, with Mount Fuji clearly visible! We could even enjoy a private onsen bath right in our room. However, this also made the room quite humid, leading to a noticeable musty or damp wood smell. It was essential to air out the room by opening the windows or running the AC daily. We were able to reserve a private dining room, which also offered views of Mount Fuji. One last thing, laundry service costs extra.

We were absolutely thrilled with the vacation home, especially with its sauna, and its close proximity to both the train and bus stations. It was the perfect end to our trip to Japan. We had a direct view of Mt. Fuji, even from the bed, living area, and terrace! The accommodation was huge for two people; it could easily sleep another 2 to 4 guests. Besides toiletries, we had a fully functional kitchen at our disposal, complete with a daily bread basket, coffee, tea, and water. The evening sauna session was the highlight of our stay. We would love to come back and wish the owners continued success and always kind and satisfied guests.

Even though it's a ryokan-style hotel, the private room was quite large and spacious. It had its own bathroom and sink inside the room. The bedding was a futon on the floor, and yukata robes were provided. The shared bathrooms, separated by gender, were outside the room. They were large enough for 3-4 people to shower at once and could be locked. There was also a large soaking tub in the bathroom. But the view of Mount Fuji? Absolutely unbeatable! Especially in the morning with the golden light, Fuji-san looked incredibly beautiful.

The 15 sqm room with two beds felt surprisingly spacious, thanks to the cleverly designed compact bathroom. Bringing a large suitcase might be a challenge, though. The room and the hotel overall were spotlessly clean, and the staff's hospitality was exceptional; they'd proactively greet you. Located right on the main road at the south end of Kawaguchiko Bridge, the hotel is a convenient ten-minute walk to Yagizaki Park by the lake if you turn left upon exiting. It's a great spot for an early morning stroll, where you might even catch sight of white swans foraging by the lake. A frequent shuttle bus service runs between the hotel and Kawaguchiko JR Station, making transportation very easy, and the driver's service was top-notch. Breakfast options include Japanese (Hall A) and Western (Hall B). Both are simple but feature fresh ingredients, and you're welcome to dine in both halls. This hotel offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

The most stunning thing about this hotel is the incredible view of Mount Fuji right from your window. Pulling back the curtains for the first time was truly breathtaking! I highly recommend waking up early and also checking it out in the afternoon, as it's pitch black at night and you can't see the mountain at all. The service was excellent. The staff were proactive in helping us book restaurants, which was a huge convenience. The room size was quite spacious for a Japanese hotel, and the bedding and bathroom were spotlessly clean – very comfortable to stay in. The onsen (hot spring) was generally decent; both the water quality and environment were clean. The outdoor bath (rotenburo) can get a bit windy, making your head feel a little cold. The hotel has a buffet restaurant, but the food options seemed pretty basic, so we didn't try it this time. Overall, it offers good value for money, and the Mount Fuji view alone makes it well worth the stay.

GGuest UserI’m glad I’m able to witness all the positive comments written by the previous reviewers. I must say thank you to Trip.com for recommending this hotel to me. I don’t think I need to repeat all the good things again, I just hope I can return to this fantastic hotel in the near future and to experience the peaceful sight of Tokyo. Imagine when you wake up, you could see Mt Fuji from your bed, and go up to the fourth floor rooftop to take amazing photos with Mt Fuji. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They even offered to drive me to Onsen since I couldn’t get a tax.Lastly, due to the change of the travel plan this hotel allows last minute cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival, thanks for the flexibility given.

DdolenieMy stay here was truly memorable. The room was traditionally Japanese and very comfortable. The host was always kind, helpful, and quick to respond whenever I needed anything. Bicycles were freely available for guests, which made it easy and enjoyable to explore the area, I was able to cycle around the lake in just a few hours, and the views were absolutely stunning. If you’re feeling motivated, I highly recommend waking up before sunrise and biking about 20 minutes to the Chureito Pagoda. Watching the sun rise behind Mount Fuji from there is a breathtaking and unforgettable experience. This stay will remain one of the most touching and special memories of my time in Japan.

SSkull88The hotel was a pleasant surprise with an unexpectedly rich array of activities. Hidden in the back garden was a large, beautifully manicured Japanese garden. Sipping Japanese matcha while gazing at the small bridges and flowing water was incredibly relaxing. The taiko drum performance was incredibly energetic! The young performers had amazing stamina, drumming, dancing, and chanting all at once. During the intermission, they even invited children to join in and drum to the rhythm. I later found out it was a performance put on by the hotel staff themselves, which showed so much love and dedication. There were also bingo games and piano performances, and even one-year-old kids got to wear cute little yukatas! 🫰 From the room, we had a view of Mount Fuji, which was still covered in snow in March. It was cold but stunningly beautiful. The only minor downsides were that the rooftop open-air onsen with Mount Fuji views was open to women only very early in the morning, and we didn't get a chance to enjoy it due to our schedule. Also, the food might not have been the freshest; after all, fresh seafood isn't exactly a mountain specialty. While we didn't experience vomiting or diarrhea after eating, we did feel a bit off for two days.

SSTReceived the instructions to check in days before our stay, and instructions are super clear. The house is very clean, and comes with everything we need - stove, washer and other basics. Ground floor is the living hall and bathroom, upstairs there’s one bedroom and outer area where are floor bed are placed. We went there with average temperature of 4 degrees so the floor were freezing cold and it took a while to activate the heat. Location wise pretty good, right opposite there’s a 7-11, and down the street 10-15 mins walk there’s the Hikawa Clock Shop, but we don’t see any restaurant nearby maybe because we were there during New Year closure

KkykykyHonestly cleanliness wise, -1 for it being just a little dusty floor (but you have slippers) and you may see the wood furnitures has some scratches due to age but otherwise you can expect a clean space 😁 location is about 10 min walk to bus station, Lawson and theme park. Has shuttle bus service to Fujikyu Highland Bus station & vice versa, so you don't need to go through other transportation hassle with your luggage. Service is impeccable with all friendly smiles and attention whenever they see you at their main service centre in the property. Every villa has rooftop full Mt Fuji view but if you want window Fuji view from inside your villa that will see your luck as you may be blocked by other villas. Nevertheless would recommend staying here for any family or group of friends. Decent facility to stay in and not go anywhere in Kawaguchiko too. Picture of rooftop view and around villa walkway.

SShadoWofAlex357We stayed for a couple of nights. The hotel is very old and desperately needs a major renovation: the hallways are shabby and dirty, the carpet is stained all over, and the elevator is tiny—barely fitting two people. But the rooms themselves are perfectly fine: - Clean and tidy - Clean, white bedding - Sterilized mugs and toilet - Looks neat, even though the room itself is small. The outdoor hot springs are great, moderately hot, and convenient. There are only a few downsides: - No washing machines - A bit far from the train station (about a 15-minute walk) - The duvet didn't have a cover (it was tucked in with a sheet, which easily comes loose and generally isn't very hygienic) - The internet isn't the fastest or most stable - If you get noisy neighbors, it will be unpleasant, as the soundproofing is excellent. - They don't accept luggage if you send it via local transport companies. Overall, the hotel is good if you're staying for just a few days. If you plan to stay in the area for a week or more, I'd recommend looking for another place.

SSimon.WI booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space. That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total. There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily. Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30. Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving. Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign.

An ability to rent a bicycle, gives you a chance to get around Fujiyoshida and Fugikawaguchiko easily. We stayed in acottage style annex with an open air bath (onsen style), so we found it great.
