GGuest UserThe room is spacious and clean. The reception was helpful and managed to explain everything clearly. The facilities are great too - we enjoyed the onsen (both indoor and outdoor are available!). No complaints given the price point and its location close to many late night eateries and Aeon mall that offers plenty of souvenir, food and shopping experience. Only thing to point out is that they failed to mention the parking costs 1000 yen per night which it's priced higher than the carpark options nearby -- could consider other alternative if you're not planning to head in and out multiple times!

GGuest UserWe chose this ryokan for its proximity to Asahikawa Zoo. With a rental car, its location was convenient. The room featured traditional tatami mats and futons for our family of four. The highlight was the in-house ‘onsen’ bath, which we enjoyed without any additional fees. The attentive staff surprised us by clearing the snow off our car after a heavy snowstorm. Senshoen gets my highest recommendation for its service, comfort, and lovely garden.

AAnonymous UserThe location was fantastic, walking distance from station and on the same block as the main shopping street.
This is a small Japanese apartment, so felt a little cramped using the bed and sofa bed. However all important amenities were provided. Great to use the kitchen and laundry facilities.
Management company was very professional and responsive.
Some dust and hairs were found so would like some more attention to the cleaning.

GGuest UserDue to high demand, our second night was in a smoking room, and it definitely had a strong odor. However, there was a spray bottle on the wall, and after using it, the air quality improved significantly. The hygiene was very good, and the room had amenities like a kettle and a fridge. Plus, it's very close to Asahikawa Station, which was great.

VverazheFirst time staying at an OMO hotel, and this one in Asahikawa is about a 10-minute walk from Asahikawa Station. It's quite family-friendly, with various animal themes throughout. The lobby has a great vibe, and they offer welcome drinks and snacks after 3 PM. There were a lot of Westerners here, likely for skiing, as the hotel provides free shuttle services to the zoo and major ski resorts. The room itself felt a bit dated, and the bathroom facilities were just average. However, the amenities in the public bath were Hoshino Resorts' own brand, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was more Western-style, and the dishes were beautifully presented.

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent! Everything I wanted to visit was nearby, plus there are tons of great restaurants and shops in the area. It's also not far from Asahikawa JR station. Choosing this hotel for my first trip to Asahikawa was a smart decision. I'd definitely stay here again next time!

GGuest UserGreat experience! It's about a 6-7 minute walk from the station, and there's a convenience store downstairs. The rooms and facilities are relatively new, and the onsen (hot spring) is quite spacious. Breakfast was delicious. There's also a humidifier provided in the room.
The only minor downside is that the last entry for breakfast is 9 AM, so I ended up wasting my breakfast voucher on the first day 😂

KKeaidouderenyimenIt was alright. Since it was peak snow festival season and we were staying for a long time, this was the only hotel that had rooms available for consecutive nights. We initially booked for a week, then extended for three more days. Note that if you extend your stay, even if it's the same room type, you'll be reassigned to a different room and have to check out before checking back in, which is very inconvenient. This was something I'd never experienced before staying at a hotel in Japan, so this aspect of the experience wasn't great. The location wasn't very convenient either; the distance from the station was awkward—not far, but not close either. Walking around to Aeon Mall in the snow was quite tiring. Aside from that, everything was pretty good. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was quite plentiful. The roasted baby potatoes were delicious; I ate several every day.

LLow choon hooiLarge twin bedroom. Clean towel set they hangs on the door knob everyday. Housekeeping is every 3 days during our stay for 1 week. Location is great. Walking distance to Aeon Mall, Asahikawa station and konbini. Near to bus stop no22 and no11 to go to kamui ski resort.
Cheapest parking located behind this hotel. Maximum parking fee is yen600.
There’s self check in and self check out machine at the front desk. Great wifi speed.
