I’m definitely planning to return to the JK Blossom Hotel! I ended up staying longer than I originally intended. I really appreciate the room space and the complimentary massage chair—perfect for those long-distance walking adventures. Plus, the park right next to the hotel is a highlight. If you enjoy walking in nature and a bit of mini hiking, you’re in luck! It’s not too far, and there’s even a mini gym in the center, which I was quite surprised to find. The only minor drawback is its location a bit far from the subway station, but you can easily catch a bus to get there. The rooms are lovely and spotless, though you might hear some sounds from the hallway and the toilet next door. Overall, it’s a wonderful place, and I feel like you’ll find everything you need here. The staff are also incredibly friendly and pleasant.

A decent, no-frills hotel. The lobby isn't very big.
It's conveniently located, within walking distance to public transport (buses and subway). There are also restaurants and duty-free shops along the way.
My king-size room was on the top floor with a nice view, but the twin room on the back didn't have much to see.
The room was clean, though smaller than what you'd find in China.
Be careful in the bathroom as there's a step, which might be tricky for older guests or children.
There were no power adapters, so bring your own. Slippers and toiletries were provided.

First off, all rooms face the Han River, offering absolutely top-notch views of the World Cup Bridge, the stadium, and even the Yeouido CBD skyline in the distance. It's only a five-minute walk from Saltpond Station on Line 9, which is quite convenient, and there's an airport bus stop right outside. The hotel's facilities show some age, but it's clear they've undergone some renovations. Inside, it's very clean and tidy. The bedding isn't as hard as in some other hotels; it's quite soft and comfortable, and there weren't any noticeable cleanliness issues. However, there are some amusing quirks from the renovation. For instance, the blinds inside the frosted glass bathroom door are completely out of reach and unusable. Also, similar to a Japanese inn, you can only shower in the bathtub. With the blinds being unusable, it definitely turns into a bit of a shadow play, which is a bit awkward. Other than that, I was very satisfied overall.

The location is great if you want some peace and quiet close to the bustling city life. This hostel is in a peaceful neighborhood, but only about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Hongdae nightlife. It is also fairly close to bus and subway stations that will get you to the city center, Itaewon, and the airport.

I didn't like this hostel. The prices are expensive and double on weekends, plus there's very little availability, and I forgot to extend my stay by one night at the last minute. The rooms are very small, some don't have curtains, and they're dirty. The walls are damaged, there's mold, and unpleasant odors from all the travelers' bags and clothes. I paid 9,000 won for a washing machine, which is extremely expensive. On the other hand, I was able to ask them to remove a stain from my t-shirt. The common areas are okay but small. The showers aren't great. The toilets don't lock; you have to leave the door open to show that no one is in it. I don't recommend this hostel. Generally, I can do without comfort, but in this case, the price should reflect that. Compared to other hostels in Seoul, China, or Japan, I'm disappointed. On the other hand, the staff is very pleasant. The lady at reception was very kind, gave me a warm welcome, and explained all the amenities. I also met Pierre, a volunteer, a great guy who helped me meet other people during my trip. The location is close to Hongdae, which is a plus, but far from other areas like the palaces and other neighborhoods.

Happy with my stay, the room was spacious, had a great sized balcony. Location is in a business district however was ideal for my stay. Check in and check out was extremely easy. The only downside is that you have to pay for your toothbrush etc in a vending machine for an extra fee.

Had a fantastic stay! The guesthouse was super easy to find and conveniently located near two subway stations, like Hapjeong Station. You check in at the bar on the first floor, and they even offer free luggage storage, which was great. There was a live performance on Friday during my stay, which was a lovely surprise!
The rooms have keypads for entry, and the common areas were neat and clean. The beds were also very hygienic, which I really appreciated. Plus, there's a buffet breakfast every morning at a set time.
Highly recommend if you're traveling around the Hongdae area!

I stayed here for three nights. The capsule itself was great—clean, equipped with a charger, and it had a lockable door which provided excellent privacy. I also felt very safe as there are plenty of cameras around. The breakfast is basic, but a nice way to start the day.
However, there were some facility issues. I had hot water the first night, but unfortunately, it was cold showers for the rest of my stay. The maintenance could be improved, as my shoe locker was partly broken (though still usable).
Also, arriving can be tricky. The signage is poor; I had to walk around before finding a sign in the driveway, and even then, it didn't specify which floor the hostel was on. Overall, despite the maintenance and signage issues, it is a good hostel if you are interested in this specific area.

The hotel is visible right from the subway station exit, so it's super convenient. The room was also very clean. The only minor downside is that if you get hungry late at night, there are only a few BBQ restaurants on the next street, but the BBQ was delicious!

The facility was recently remodeled and was very clean and comfortable. There were enough things you need such as different types of chargers and TV, especially the cozy lighting in the room was very suitable for relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was great for sightseeing and vacationing in Seoul. If I ever visit Seoul again, I will choose this place without hesitation.

Great
RRoger Ow YongFirst time in Seoul and stay in hotel. Hotel was excellent: receptionist is helpful and courteous. Check in and out is fast. Hotel facilities is excellent too. Water pressure is high, with separate restrooms. Living room had a sliding door to close to separate restrooms and washing basin. Had a small vacancy is more than enough. Location is the best walking distance 2-3mins to hongdiv MRT station exit 9. Overall is professional and high standard of living. I surely with stay again for next trip to Seoul never regret . I like make commitment to housing keeping for the well done, receptionist will help to call taxi for customer . Well done !
TTharunKlWe had an exceptional stay at Nine Tree Premier Hotel Insadong by Parnas. The biggest highlight is its unbeatable central location everything you could possibly need is right at your doorstep. From shopping and great food options to easy access to buses and the subway, it truly doesn’t get more convenient than this.
The hotel is modern, very clean, and well-maintained, making it perfect for a comfortable stay, especially when traveling with family. The vibrant Insadong area adds even more charm, with plenty to explore just by stepping out.
The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist, which made our experience seamless.
While it’s not overly pricey, it offers excellent value for money and is absolutely worth what you pay.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Seoul!
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts convenient transportation. You can take the airport bus to and from the airport, and the drop-off point is also where you catch the return bus, which is super handy. I took bus 6015 and got off at Myeongdong Station. After getting off, you'll see Subway Exit 8. Head towards Exit 8, and at the first intersection, turn right and walk straight. (Make sure you don't go past the CU convenience store; it's actually right opposite Exit 8.) It's quite close, just a few hundred meters walk. The hotel is also very close to our embassy, which gave me extra peace of mind. Every morning, I could see the embassy from my window seat. The room was a bit small; opening a 28-inch suitcase made it feel a bit cramped, but the hotel's cleanliness was good. The soundproofing was excellent; even though it's in lively Myeongdong, it was very quiet at night, which was fantastic.
GGuest UserMy stay at HOTEL BOTANIK's Deluxe King Room in Myeongdong exceeded my expectations. The room had a modern, apartment-style feel with brand new facilities and full amenities, making it ideal for those planning a longer stay in Seoul.
The in-room amenities were definitely the highlight. The air conditioning had a control panel for temperature adjustment, and it came equipped with an AirDresser, a washer-dryer combo, a separate fridge and freezer, an induction hob, and a microwave oven. Inside the cabinets, there was even a wine cooler, wine glasses, and mugs, giving it the feel of a small boutique apartment. Charging was also convenient, with both USB and Type-C outlets available, and the bidet toilet had a full range of functions. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation design, and the water pressure was consistent, making for a very comfortable shower.
However, there were a few things to note:
The kitchenware provided was quite basic, with only two plates, which might be insufficient if you plan to do a lot of cooking. Also, laundry detergent wasn't provided in the room, but you could purchase it at the front desk if needed.
There are several construction sites near the hotel, but surprisingly, the soundproofing was excellent during my stay, with no noticeable noise at night. My sleep quality was quite peaceful.
Overall, this hotel is more of a ”high-functional type” accommodation. The facilities are new and highly practical, feeling more like staying in a well-designed apartment than a traditional hotel. It made for a very comfortable stay.
GgobacktonovemberThe hotel is very nice + very newly designed hotel.
Pros:
-nearby the sinsa station/area (but required around 5-7 minutes walk there)
-Big and cozy bed for two people
-Toilet with good warm water
-Good amenities
-Good space for 2 luggages to fit (big ones)
-Has a very nice cafe on the rooftop to see seoul city
-Able to see seoul towel from our room!
What to improve/Take note:
-the staff service at night can’t really speak english so sometimes I don’t understand what they say abiutbthe deposit when checking in.
-No microwave/only fridge available
-The walkway is actually on the slope/hills (the picture doesn’t show that much that the hotel is on the hill so anyone who has big luggages or on snow time it is recommended to book an uber on the winter time)
AAmelaineWe enjoyed our stay at hotel manu. The room was spacious for 3, and did not have odor. I liked that every time they clean it, they leave a fragrant aroma to the room. The place was also quiet and did not have a lot of noise or caused any disturbance. They did not give free toothbrushes, but overall, the room was excellent and clean. They also provide netflix and youtube on the smart tv, which was a plus for us as well. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.
BBokexierdienThe hotel has a great location. It's just two turns away from Chungmuro Subway Station Exit 8. Airport buses 6105 and 6011 also stop near Exit 8, making it very convenient to get to the hotel.
It's a fully self-service hotel with a self-check-in machine that has Chinese language options, which is super handy.
The room door uses a key code, which is easy to operate. The bathroom is very clean, and there's a slight step down from the toilet area to the shower, which prevents water from splashing out.
Myeongdong is also within walking distance. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Seoul.
AAnonymous UserStayed in a twin room in March. It was on the 4th floor, facing the main street with a tower view. The hotel's email after booking made the check-in process clear and easy to understand, which was helpful. Although the pre-arrival information stated that toiletries like shampoo wouldn't be provided, they were actually available in the room. Even though there was no Wi-Fi in the room, they offered pocket Wi-Fi rentals, which made my stay very comfortable. The toilet had a bidet, but the paper couldn't be flushed and had to be put in a trash can. This wasn't a big issue as I was prepared for it beforehand (the trash was collected when the room was cleaned). Considering the convenience, I would definitely consider staying here again.
MmunimunitantanThe room looks exactly like the pictures. The bed was really comfortable and clean, with no strange smells (housekeeping came daily to clean and empty the bins). The bathroom was spacious, making for a pleasant shower experience. We chose a quad room, and there was enough space to spread out my luggage. There are also lockers for valuables, but you need to bring your own padlock. The accommodation is on the third floor with no elevator, so it's a bit of a struggle if you have large luggage like I did. Also, the beds don't have curtains, which can make you feel a bit exposed. Since the room is small, any noise, like using the toilet in the middle of the night, is amplified, and I worried about disturbing others. However, for the price, I'm very satisfied! No complaints at all!
AAllysh@comfortable place...close to dongmyo flea market..have to wait for more money because it's random when walking, wash your eyes at dongmyo flea market..close to laundry..wanting to wash clothes in the middle of the night is ok..,,😂😂😂
