It was clean, which was great. They gave me a non-smoking room, so there was no cigarette smell inside, but I did notice a bit of it in the hallway. Still, the room was clean, no smoke smell inside, and the location was good too.

I last year trip was staying at a charming small hotel that pleasantly surprised me. The room was spacious, featuring a comfortable queen-sized bed and elegant mirrors that created a stylish atmosphere. The hotel’s black decor was particularly cool, adding a modern touch. While the room lacked a window, it compensated with access to an outdoor area where a chair offered a view of the city from high. The hotel is ideally located, surrounded by numerous restaurants, which made dining out a breeze. Overall, the hotel may be small, but it provided a cozy and enjoyable experience that exceeded my expectations. It’s an excellent choice for couples looking for a romantic getaway. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a delightful retreat in the heart of the city.

The room was quite spacious and the environment was good, offering great value for money. My only minor complaints are that the air conditioning fan was a bit too strong and blew directly onto the bed, which I found a little uncomfortable. Also, if you're staying multiple nights, you have to check out at 12 PM and then check in again at 7 PM or 8 PM on the same day, which is a bit unusual.

After living abroad for a long time, I suddenly moved here, so I gathered at Bongsa-ri, where I used to hang out with my friends when I was young, had a drink, and stayed. It was so accessible and friendly that I stayed one more day before leaving. I don't know if it was because of the day of the week or because I made a reservation from a foreign country, but I made a reservation for the first day, which was a bit expensive at 80,000 won, and I went directly the day before departure, and since it was Thursday, I was able to stay at a cheap price of 45,000 won, which was nice. I just wish it would be possible to check in early even if you make a reservation through an app. I had a lot of luggage, but it was very difficult to carry it around since check-in time was 11 o'clock. Other than that, it's the best place to stay alone!

The location was great, close to the subway station. However, the room had a rather musty smell and the lighting was too dim, so I wish there was another bright light. The bedding was a bit dusty, but I slept well thanks to the fleece lining. Good value.

The rooms have USB ports for convenient charging, and a water purifier, which is a nice thoughtful touch.

This is definitely a love hotel and I was here just to stay while on business so it did have some challenges around sounds and times of people coming in and out of rooms when trying to get a rest for work the next day but I sleep heavy and it wasn't too bad. The room is fine with all the basic needs but the best thing was free ice cream and they had a guide in English for people to stay there so be sure to ask for that. The people were friendly and I like that area for exploring and walking so I enjoyed my stay here for 3 nights!

Stayed at MD Doksan Hotel recently and overall had a great experience. The hotel is quite a bit away from the main city, so keep that in mind if you're planning to explore central Seoul a lot. The nearest bus stop is about a 5-minute walk, and the train station is around 15 minutes on foot. There aren’t a ton of food options nearby, especially if you have dietary restrictions, so you might want to plan meals ahead or be ready to travel a bit. That said, if you prefer a quieter area away from the busy city vibe, this place could be a good fit. The staff were really helpful and made the stay comfortable. Would recommend if you're okay with the location and looking for a peaceful place to stay.

The hotel is a standalone building, making it easy to spot. It's a bit far from central Seoul, about an hour away. The nearest subway station (Line 1) is a 15-minute walk, and there's a bus stop and a GS25 convenience store about 200 meters from the hotel. The hotel also sells instant noodles on the first floor. Service: The owners are very nice! One of them is fluent in Chinese and gave us tips on where to find breakfast. You can just put your trash bags outside your room door in a designated spot, and someone will collect them. Cleanliness: The slippers weren't very clean, but everything else was fine. Facilities: The room was very spacious, and the bathroom was huge, with a large double bathtub and an electric toilet. The only minor drawback was that the sink was too small and there was no space for toiletries. Apparently, hotels in Korea charge per person, but I'm not sure if that's true since there was a language barrier and I didn't ask in detail. When I booked on Trip.com, there were reminders to specify the number of guests, so even for the same room, the price varied for two versus three people. I didn't try to avoid any potential trouble and booked for three people. I stayed for five days and overall, I'm very satisfied.
