LLeia K.The Orchid Hotel was everything and more as described on their website and the reviews. I stayed in the superior room with 1 king bed which was very comfortable. The air conditioner is adjustable to your preference. The hotel was very clean, spacious, very friendly staff (24hr lobby staff)and in the perfect location. They provided robes, slippers, 2 bottled waters, clean towels daily. The bathroom has a bidet which is separate from the shower area. They also have a pot to heat water instantly and they provide coffee and camomile tea bags. There was a large desk area in this room and a large television. The location is right across the street from a large shopping mall that also has restaurants and walking distance to Musil (restaurants, cinema, shopping). They do have a pool and has pizza and beer every evening at rooftop bar. All your needs are very close to this hotel. The bus terminal is ~6 minutes walking distance and train is ~ 10 minute taxi ride. Approximately 2 miles is the outdoor market (food/shopping). Considerations: make sure to bring international chargers, translate app and if get Wow pass can top up with cash at 7/11 or CU. I did make several attempts to top up on Wow pass app with credit card and was having difficulty. The bus terminal and taxi’s accept international visa credit card. The bus terminal does not accept T card. I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks to the staff and cleanliness.

BBokkie TruongLarge room, comfortable bed and nice shower/toilet made our 3 night stay very pleasant. A supermarket and bakery/coffee shop nearby. Bus stops very near so easy to get into the city. Nice walkway and park nearby too. Self check-in (at the machine on 3rd floor) only from 4pm. Lockers on 3 floor for earlier luggage storage if needed.

RRunzhi_LiThis motel is close to Wonju Free Market, Jungwon Traditional Market, and Wonju Doraemi Market. It also has a 7-Eleven just around the corner.
I arrived at the motel at around 10:30pm, and there was already nobody in the check-in counter. I had to rang the bell and call and waited for around 15 minutes before someone came out and checked me in.
Water kettle was not provided in the room, I had to go down to the lobby to use the public water kettle, which was very inconvenient. And no instant coffee sticks or tea bags provided.
Room facilities were also quite old, however space is very generous as the room was quite spacious.
One thing I was particularly not satisfied with was the toilet water, it was very weak, and it drained very very slowly.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Oak Valley Hills Village, a 37-pyeong unit, for our winter family trip. Online check-in wasn't available, so we checked in at the Lobby of Building C and were directed to Building D. Our room overlooked the parking lot, but the snowy mountains were beautiful, and the room itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious.

JJae-Nam SonOverall, there was no inconvenience in using it. However, since cooking is not allowed, it was harder than expected to have to go down to the first floor to get food delivered. Of course, I understand that delivery people cannot use the elevator for security reasons, but there were inconveniences such as drinking and being drunk and having to wear comfortable clothes and then going down again wearing clothes.

GGuest UserIt is located just off the bus terminal outside Yuanzhou City.
I arrived at the bus terminal around 21:00 and headed for the motel from there. Haraju was my first place to visit, but it was helpful because the motel was in an easy-to-understand location.
Since I arrived at night, the front desk was out of the seat and had to wait for a while. Even if I called the number on the guide board, I couldn't help but do it.
I was at a loss for a moment, but the front desk basically seems to be manned at night, so if you wait, the staff will come back.
Also, I think the building is old and the scale is small, but I glimpsed the cleaning of the room with a ２ person system and the cleaning was firmly done with a deck brush.
However, it is the cheapest motel in the surrounding area.
The quality of the facilities is high for the price, but you may be shocked if you expect it.
If you are used to going to a motel in a Korean region, you should be able to spend comfortably without any problems.

GGuest UserThis motel was affordable and clean. Conveniently located off the main street near a gas station, Starbucks and McDonald’s with free parking. The only thing we would fault this hotel with is the attempt to charge extra for a child after the price was confirmed for two adults and a child. This extra fee was not mentioned at confirmation, nor was the value provided. It made us feel that they could arbitrarily make up a price after the fact. Didn’t feel above board.

AAnfernoI've stayed here before, and it is clean, quiet, and blackout dark. This time, however, the standard room I had reserved was unavailable, and so I got an upgrade, which just had two computers instead of one (both of which I don't need), and the room actually seemed smaller than the last time I remember. Checkout time was not until 12, but I received two phone calls to tell me to check out before then. I was in the shower and ran out to get the first call, but they had already hung up. So just a bit of an annoying start to my day. Otherwise, I would recommend it again. Just ask them not to call you.
