Hotels near Seo-Gu, Busan

The room was great and booking was super easy. After arriving in Busan by KTX, I took a taxi to the hotel. The entrance was easy to find. I just showed the front desk my email confirmation code, filled out a form, and then checked in. (A note on the form: they require a credit card for the deposit, but since I didn't have a Visa or similar card, I just paid 100,000 Korean Won, which was refunded immediately upon check-out). There are time restrictions for early check-in, but the check-in and check-out times are clearly stated in the email, and the front desk staff also confirmed them when I arrived. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and enthusiastic! ❤️ The hotel is just a short walk to the beach. You can also take the Crystal Cable Car for scenic views. I booked this hotel last minute, so all the ocean-view rooms were taken, but even our city-view room offered a glimpse of the sea. There's a convenience store downstairs, as well as local eateries, which was really handy.

Location: It's in the same building as the Grab the Beach Hotel, only about 100-200 meters from the Fairfield. When my taxi couldn't pinpoint the location, I'd just set it for the Fairfield. View: If you want to watch the sunrise directly from your bed, this hotel is unbeatable. I think the view is even better than the Fairfield because this building faces directly east. Layout: Overall, it was better than I expected. Although the room isn't huge, the different areas are well-organized and comprehensive, with a wardrobe and a small fridge. The table and chairs are indoors, but I imagine you could easily move them to the balcony in the summer. It was too cold for that in the winter. The bathroom layout is very practical. However, the vanity area doesn't have a door and is quite close to the main entrance, so you need to be mindful of privacy. They've thoughtfully placed a reminder sticker about this. Cleanliness: It was clean. But the balcony glass wasn't clean😭 I even braved the cold early in the morning to try and wipe it down so I could photograph the sunrise from inside. I hope the hotel can pay attention to this in the future, then it would be perfect. Service: I was a bit anxious before checking in because the entire process, from check-in to check-out, is self-service. The emails were only in Korean and English, and if you wanted to book additional items, the interface was only in Korean, which was quite inconvenient. In the end, I brought my own toothbrush and toothpaste. The hotel provided facial cleanser, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Remember to confirm your check-in online via email before arrival; the room door code will be sent to your email 3-5 hours before check-in time. The card you receive upon check-in is only for operating the elevator. For check-out, just drop the card into the box at the self check-in counter. View - If you are keen in wharf / harbor view, this hotel (see images) is along the harbour next to wharf, Songdo, so there is no beach on the wharf. At 4am you can hear commotion at the wharf, interesting for a different view from city or sea view. Nearest Songdo beach is still at distance, it is not at door step. Booked a large room for family of 4, comes with 1 Queen bed, 1 single, the last pax ended on the floor with Futons. (Although I indicated i had 4 pax, housekeeper does not seem to be aware, replenishes only for 3 pax?). Small hand towels are issued as bath towel, just be aware. Quite common for smaller hotel accommodation here (inn, AirBnB). Floor heater, water heater works, daily housekeeping. Has bath tub not used at all for winter. Good balcony for sitting in the cold to watch the wharf bustle. Pax using futon had a few bites by bugs, not sure if flew in from outside the room, else the room is clean. Nice open terrace at roof top with telescope to look into Lotte mall at distance, and the open sea after the bridge on the right. Complimentary breakfast offering at basement kitchen is available until 9AM (not 9.30am) - kitchen staff will remind you to finish up at close to 9am, and please clear your dishes at collection area, discard leftovers, return cultery, utensils. Breakfast spread : Cereal with milk (only on weekend), ONE slice of toast with jam, egg/s, one fruit or yoghurt, one coffee/tea, ONE juice, one instant noodles (if you want). Only tried for first morning, other mornings has similar menu on the wall. Staff - looks like husband wife team. Friendly to greet at reception at upper level. Safety wise - As accommodation is located at harbour with large prime movers and containers movements, it is better to travel in groups to look out for each other. I note the drivers are generally careful to look out for pedestrians on the harbour, wharf. Can be a bit dark at night in the surrounding area of the accommodation. Plus point - Double entrance door which allow you to lock inner door in case main door is being accessed externally. Location - About 20mins or so by bus to Busan shopping area where the crowd is. Not too far, The more popular tourist spots, beach sites is further up northeast at Haeundae beach, which is about 1 hour bus ride away. Pricing -, for the pricing, there are better known hotel chains going at more economic rates. So need to do proper research before booking. Else pleasant stay, simple, large room, no fanfare.

Everyday was great. But there is no 24 hr reception. I luckily met the reception lady as wanted to store my bag there. Location: great for the specific activities but it is not very central. If I have limited time and want to see multiple places, I would sat very close to bus station because getting a bus is not difficult but sitting in that bus is.

Super good location for a shopping and sightseeing 🫰 Place has weak soundproof. Untill 2 a.m. other tourist behaved loud and it was not possible to sleep. Was not possible to open a window cause kitchen vents from neighbor buildings face same direction as mine window. The result whenever I tried to open a window I had a constant smell of food. Front desc is super helpful and friendly 🫰 Big thanks for keeping my luggage while I was in Fukuoka. Really appreciate that 🫰 Love youre rooftop 🫰

I had a very pleasant stay at Foret Premier Hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, making it easy to rest after a long day. The location is very convenient, especially with the subway nearby, so getting around Busan was simple. The service was good and the staff were helpful throughout my stay. I also appreciated the free coffee, which was a nice little bonus. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable and convenient stay.

This is a good value for money hotel in Songdo. You can't see the beach. The interior facilities are tidy. It was early April, but I was bitten by a few mosquitoes, but the hotel's response was ... Oh ...

1. Actually, this is a motel, not a hotel 2. According to Trip's advertising photo, it's the photo outside the nearby building, not the hotel's picture. 3. The road to the hotel is a bit difficult to find, it took quite a while to find a small alley leading to the hotel. 4. There is only 1 old lady who manages the hotel and can't speak English, so he has a lot of difficulties in communication. 5. The room is small and narrow, the electrical cord is awkward, there are heating mattresses on the bed and on the floor but the air conditioner can't work. 6. No daily cleaning and cleaning of the room: in 3 b***f, only 1 small set of towels. No toothbrush and drinking cup.... 7. The location is quite convenient to go to the colorful village, BIFF, Jalgachi, Busan tower... but far from gimhae airport. Forgot to take a picture of the room interior (the room is painting the style of the 40s of the 20th century)

Facilities: Brand new. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Even the most basic rooms offer a partial ocean view! Despite being near the bridge, it's incredibly quiet—no noise at all. Plus, it's very close to Songdo Cable Car and the beach. Downstairs, there's a convenience store (which also sells fresh produce) and a coffee shop. Service: The front desk had staff who spoke Chinese, and the greeters were always smiling. My requests, sent via email beforehand, were met as much as possible. Breakfast: Purchased separately, at a discount from the listed price: 50,000 KRW per person, payable via WeChat. The best part is the restaurant itself has an ocean view! The breakfast spread was incredibly rich; my favorite was the honey-roasted chicken wings—absolutely delicious. The vegetable pancake was also amazing, though sadly, it was the last piece available. The coffee beans could use an upgrade, especially since the milk was so good, haha. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value for money. I would definitely stay here again.
