Hotels near Songdo Cable Car, Busan

The hotel's location right in front of the beach offers a stunning ocean view! There are also plenty of things to do nearby, with Songdo Beach, the cable car, and many great restaurants. The room condition was excellent, so I would definitely choose this accommodation again if I visit the area.

This was the most satisfying accommodation I stayed at during my trip to Busan. The room was kept clean, and the ocean view directly from the balcony was truly impressive. Getting around was convenient as you could take the cable car right below the building, and the area was great for sightseeing with many great restaurants nearby. Gamcheon Culture Village was also close by, making the sightseeing route very convenient. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next trip to Busan!

The room was great and booking was super easy. After arriving in Busan by KTX, I took a taxi to the hotel. The entrance was easy to find. I just showed the front desk my email confirmation code, filled out a form, and then checked in. (A note on the form: they require a credit card for the deposit, but since I didn't have a Visa or similar card, I just paid 100,000 Korean Won, which was refunded immediately upon check-out). There are time restrictions for early check-in, but the check-in and check-out times are clearly stated in the email, and the front desk staff also confirmed them when I arrived. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and enthusiastic! ❤️ The hotel is just a short walk to the beach. You can also take the Crystal Cable Car for scenic views. I booked this hotel last minute, so all the ocean-view rooms were taken, but even our city-view room offered a glimpse of the sea. There's a convenience store downstairs, as well as local eateries, which was really handy.

Trip.com had a mismatch with this booking and I stayed at Hyoi Stay Busan Songdo. It's the same hotel as they said, just a different name. It's also the same building and room type was identical. So my review is for Hyoi Stay. Great hotel, new, very clean room with a washing machine and a dryer. Location is also great, view from the room was beautiful. Hotel is like airbnb, room also had a kitchen and a balcony. Very helpful and nice manager met me near entrance of the building to help find the office on 3rd floor to check-in. Now, if you don't have a car and don't use taxi, be careful as the walk from the bus stop is going downhill and if you have a heavy bag coming back up can be hard. Even with this it's only 10 minutes walk from bus stop. Overall 5/5 loved it, would gladly stay again.

Location: It's in the same building as the Grab the Beach Hotel, only about 100-200 meters from the Fairfield. When my taxi couldn't pinpoint the location, I'd just set it for the Fairfield. View: If you want to watch the sunrise directly from your bed, this hotel is unbeatable. I think the view is even better than the Fairfield because this building faces directly east. Layout: Overall, it was better than I expected. Although the room isn't huge, the different areas are well-organized and comprehensive, with a wardrobe and a small fridge. The table and chairs are indoors, but I imagine you could easily move them to the balcony in the summer. It was too cold for that in the winter. The bathroom layout is very practical. However, the vanity area doesn't have a door and is quite close to the main entrance, so you need to be mindful of privacy. They've thoughtfully placed a reminder sticker about this. Cleanliness: It was clean. But the balcony glass wasn't clean😭 I even braved the cold early in the morning to try and wipe it down so I could photograph the sunrise from inside. I hope the hotel can pay attention to this in the future, then it would be perfect. Service: I was a bit anxious before checking in because the entire process, from check-in to check-out, is self-service. The emails were only in Korean and English, and if you wanted to book additional items, the interface was only in Korean, which was quite inconvenient. In the end, I brought my own toothbrush and toothpaste. The hotel provided facial cleanser, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Remember to confirm your check-in online via email before arrival; the room door code will be sent to your email 3-5 hours before check-in time. The card you receive upon check-in is only for operating the elevator. For check-out, just drop the card into the box at the self check-in counter. I hope all my fellow Chinese travelers have a great time in Busan! Busan is good!

Everyday was great. But there is no 24 hr reception. I luckily met the reception lady as wanted to store my bag there. Location: great for the specific activities but it is not very central. If I have limited time and want to see multiple places, I would sat very close to bus station because getting a bus is not difficult but sitting in that bus is.

Good and quiet near the hostel, beach and restaurant It was clean and well equipped even though it was a bit old. ㅡ Is the smell of cigarettes in the bathroom? The window is small and it's unfortunate to see outside

Stayed on a 3 night schedule and it was really good. The furniture was good and the terrace was covered with grass. It was also excellent to be able to go out and see the night view. Right next to the Songdo Cable Car, taxi is always waiting, so it is easy to move. I was so satisfied that I wanted to stay again if I went to Busan next time. However, even though it was a high-rise building, there were two elevators, so one was checking out, so there was a fuss at check-out time. I'm sorry about this, but it was a sudden situation, so I understand. I hope I can meet you in the same condition next time.

Great hotel! Very close to the beach. Clean and cozy. However, breakfasts are served until 9am! That's just something! Of course, I was late for breakfast and when I came to the reception at 9.15 to at least ask for a cup of coffee, there was no one there. I waited for a very long time, but no one came to the reception. That really spoiled the impression. Everything else was just super.

View - If you are keen in wharf / harbor view, this hotel (see images) is along the harbour next to wharf, Songdo, so there is no beach on the wharf. At 4am you can hear commotion at the wharf, interesting for a different view from city or sea view. Nearest Songdo beach is still at distance, it is not at door step. Booked a large room for family of 4, comes with 1 Queen bed, 1 single, the last pax ended on the floor with Futons. (Although I indicated i had 4 pax, housekeeper does not seem to be aware, replenishes only for 3 pax?). Small hand towels are issued as bath towel, just be aware. Quite common for smaller hotel accommodation here (inn, AirBnB). Floor heater, water heater works, daily housekeeping. Has bath tub not used at all for winter. Good balcony for sitting in the cold to watch the wharf bustle. Pax using futon had a few bites by bugs, not sure if flew in from outside the room, else the room is clean. Nice open terrace at roof top with telescope to look into Lotte mall at distance, and the open sea after the bridge on the right. Complimentary breakfast offering at basement kitchen is available until 9AM (not 9.30am) - kitchen staff will remind you to finish up at close to 9am, and please clear your dishes at collection area, discard leftovers, return cultery, utensils. Breakfast spread : Cereal with milk (only on weekend), ONE slice of toast with jam, egg/s, one fruit or yoghurt, one coffee/tea, ONE juice, one instant noodles (if you want). Only tried for first morning, other mornings has similar menu on the wall. Staff - looks like husband wife team. Friendly to greet at reception at upper level. Safety wise - As accommodation is located at harbour with large prime movers and containers movements, it is better to travel in groups to look out for each other. I note the drivers are generally careful to look out for pedestrians on the harbour, wharf. Can be a bit dark at night in the surrounding area of the accommodation. Plus point - Double entrance door which allow you to lock inner door in case main door is being accessed externally. Location - About 20mins or so by bus to Busan shopping area where the crowd is. Not too far, The more popular tourist spots, beach sites is further up northeast at Haeundae beach, which is about 1 hour bus ride away. Pricing -, for the pricing, there are better known hotel chains going at more economic rates. So need to do proper research before booking. Else pleasant stay, simple, large room, no fanfare.
