Located near the fun Regent;s street with lots of restaurants and bars, near the convention center and cathedral, but a bit farther away from the Riverside market etc (10-15 min walk). Staff is friendly, kitchen is really big and has everything, with lost of fridges and storage space. I booked the room for myself, it was very comfortable. They provide big towels, which is nice. No hair drier though. Right next to bus stop to airport.

Parking, despite filtering for parking, is not free of charge at the hotel. The listing details 'additional fees' on the 'Amenities' page, not on the initial landing page. Upon inquiring where to park, I was directed to the public car park almost immediately opposite the hotel - $12 overnight; $25 for the day (not 24hr).
Still, this is not on the hotel, as additional fees details are on the listing.
I was not offered the $30 basement parking the hotel claims to have.
Some rooms have a window but zero view. Twin rooms with double beds cannot accommodate much luggage.
The shower cubicle is small. I am not tall (180cm) but the showerhead barely cleared my own head.
Otherwise, the hotel delivered exactly what was expected from an Ibis. Beds comfy.

This is a fantastic hotel. Due to flight issues, I checked in late at night, but the lobby was incredibly warm and comfortable, with a beautiful and pleasant atmosphere. The environment is truly outstanding. It faces a large park, offering lovely views, and the transportation is convenient as it's right in the city center and very close to the airport. The lobby fireplace was cozy, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, treating guests like family. The room was very clean and tidy, hygienic, and comfortable. It was spacious, and the bedding was excellent – clean and very comfortable to use. The bathroom was great, and the room overall was very spacious, neat, bright, and grand. Everything felt relatively new. I would definitely stay here again next time. It offers great value for money.

The heater in the studio room is connected to an extension plug which switches off frequently. Hence, it is cold in the unit. Location is good , 15 minutes walk to the restaurants. The hotel staff arranged late check in for us. So check in is easy .

The rooms have a clever layout: you enter one door, and it leads to two separate king-sized rooms, each with its own kitchen and bathroom. The facilities are brand new. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, a dishwasher, and a microwave, and it has an induction hob. In terms of hygiene, there are both a washer and a dryer. However, the shower lacks a curtain, which means water easily splashes out – a rather thoughtless design that makes the floor slippery. The location is excellent and central; just across the road and over the river is Riverside Market, lined with restaurants and shops. Overall, aside from the parking and shower issues, this hotel is quite satisfactory.

A great stay for one night. If you didn’t book parking for your car, you might have to park on street which is annoying coz you have to wake up early to look after your car and avoid tickets . Overall, it was a great hotel room with nice shower head with strong water flow in big shower room.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights in Christchurch. Overall, it maintained Hilton's usual high standards and was generally satisfying.
**Ambiance:** The hotel is beautiful, with vibrant flowers in the garden. Enjoying breakfast in the restaurant with a view of the garden outside the window was a real pleasure. The hotel is also very close to the city center. On a sunny day, it was lovely to walk to the city center, visit the Botanic Gardens, the Arts Centre, the Riverside Market, and the Cardboard Cathedral, all while strolling along the Avon River. I managed to check off many attractions without even realizing it.
**Cleanliness:** Housekeeping was prompt, and the room was clean and tidy. I didn't find any dirty spots.
**Facilities:** The hotel seems to be a bit old, so the facilities aren't brand new, but they are sufficient and well-equipped, including a hairdryer, iron, kettle, refrigerator, and air conditioning – enough for a short stay. The room's balcony was also nice, overlooking a lawn, perfect for some peaceful relaxation. The only drawback was the poor soundproofing in the room. The room next door frequently opened and closed their door, sometimes more than ten times between 10 PM and 1 AM, and at one point, it was every ten minutes or so. Each time, it made a huge noise that felt like the bed was shaking, waking me up multiple times. I even started to wonder if countless people were staying next door. This kind of thing is really down to luck, but better sound insulation would have made for a less disturbing stay.
**Service:** The front desk staff were very polite and enthusiastic during both check-in and check-out, which left a great impression. We were given two bottles of water and two warm cookies upon check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. The only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was the suspected subtle racial discrimination from the restaurant's reception staff. I stayed here for three days and saw many other Chinese tourists. Not once did I hear the staff say goodbye or thank you to us when we left the restaurant. They would just stand there, pretending not to see us, but then smile and thank the Caucasian guests walking behind us. This happened every single time for three days, and they pretended not to see other Chinese guests leaving too. I have to wonder, is this how the hotel trains its staff? To provide different service based on race? These staff members, who were older and positioned at the restaurant entrance for greeting and guiding, were not the young, busy servers inside the restaurant, who did a great job. Based on this subtle differential treatment, I can only give the service three stars, no more.

Amazing
YYuyuyuyuanOverseas rooms don't come with slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrushes, so you'll need to bring your own. Water isn't provided in the room either; you have to get it from the hallway, so it's a good idea to bring your own cup or water bottle. Other than that, it's pretty decent. It's within walking distance to the terminal, and the front desk staff are quite friendly. There's also a restaurant upstairs. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. This place is better than the Novotel at Auckland Airport.
CConstance_HuoThe location is just right, not in the town center but not too remote either. There are some restaurants nearby, and an Indian mini-mart that's open late. I booked a basic room, and the amenities were indeed very basic. I brought my own slippers and toothbrush, but the room didn't even have tissues, only toilet paper. The fridge also had a curry smell... The front desk service was quite good though.
Ffairy-smileThe location is superb, directly opposite the cathedral. It's a shame, however, that the cathedral is still undergoing renovations and seems several years away from completion. On the bright side, the beautiful Cardboard Cathedral is within easy walking distance. Just outside the entrance, there's a beautiful library with a cafe – a perfect spot for both intellectual nourishment and a coffee or snack. Riverside Market is also very close, easily walkable, and features a wide array of restaurants and bars. While New World supermarket and Chemist Warehouse are a bit further away, they are still within a manageable walking distance, and we opted to walk there. The staff were exceptionally warm and professional. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and the bathrooms featured a convenient wet/dry separation. Luggage storage was also available. Overall, this was, without a doubt, the best value-for-money hotel we stayed at during our entire South Island New Zealand trip.
AAnonymous UserAmenities: The facilities were comprehensive. My only minor issue was that our room type didn't have a wet/dry separation in the bathroom.
Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent.
Environment: The environment was great. The hotel area was very clean, and within 100 meters, there was a bus stop, gas station, supermarket, and restaurants.
Service: The front desk staff were very friendly and patiently handled our check-in, explaining all the necessary information.
We think this is a great choice for young people looking to stay for a day or two. Unlike the city center, parking isn't an issue here, and it's a pleasant walk to the city center for sightseeing.
匿匿名遊客The room is large and spacious. Private full kitchen is provided for your cooking. The whole room is well partitioned into sleeping area, washing room and kitchen which are all tidy and clean. The manager is friendly and can chat with you on different topics. Wifi signal is strong.
GGuest UserIt was a rainy and windy New Year's Eve in Christchurch. After a long struggle picking up the rental car at the airport in the rain, we cautiously drove for half an hour to reach the hotel and park. The black gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel's inner courtyard is beautiful. The room decor, as mentioned in other reviews, is indeed a bit dated, but the room itself is quite spacious. We braved the stormy weather to walk back and forth to Amazonita for our New Year's Eve dinner, and my pants and socks were completely soaked when we returned. To my surprise, there was a washer-dryer combo unit, complete with two small packets of laundry detergent and instructions taped next to it. After getting Doubao to translate how to use the machine, I washed all my wet clothes. They came out warm and dry, ready to wear the next day.
GGuest UserVery convenient to get to the airport especially if have an early flight to take . The restaurant is very handy too that do not need to go out to find a place for dinner the night before the flight
DDragan S**Comfortable Stay with Great Service**
I had a pleasant stay at **Rosewood Court Motel**. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the essentials, including a comfortable bed and a small kitchenette. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the parking was convenient.
The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was also great—close to shops, restaurants, and easy access to the city.
Overall, it’s a good choice for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.
GGuest UserMy friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well!
The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details.
The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up.
Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :))
I didn't get many good photos but here you go!
小小俩口吕The room was small but had everything I needed, which was very convenient. The kitchen was well-equipped with oil, salt, vinegar, and soy sauce, and had plenty of space for cooking. It's also close to the airport, and the path was well-lit the whole way, so I felt safe walking alone as a woman.
