The room is quite big. The girls and guys at the front desk are very enthusiastic and answered questions accurately and carefully. The hotel is also very conveniently located, not far from the subway station and train station. It is very convenient to take the train to Sintra and Cabo da Roca. There is also a kettle in the room. I recommend it to everyone. I didn't take any photos.

It was a very nice holiday and the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was very varied, and there was something for everyone. The proximity to the airport was noticeable, but not really a problem; the construction work at the hotel will eventually finish, so all is well. 👌🏼 What wasn't so great for me, as a fresh air enthusiast, was that we couldn't open the windows. Despite the air conditioning, the air quality in the room wasn't good (even though the air conditioning was running constantly)! Otherwise, everything was fine. 👍🏻

The breakfast was very good, the service was also good.
The rooms were not equal to the 3 I booked, one was spacious and had coffee machine the other two very small nor a bottle of water had, had to ask in the receipt with a 10-euro deposit, I'll leave photo.
The noise is another negative aspect, both of the planes and of the water pipes and corridors.

The location of the hotel is quite good, not too far on foot from the subway (~5 min.), there are convenient service shops around: laundromat, small supermarket, a few restaurants (BRUTI is absolutely the one to recommend, the food is really good, the prices are ok - not cheap but not overpriced compared to the quality you get).
The service given by the people working at this IBIS was fantastic! Huge praise to Davi, Isa and Fernando! (If you have the chance to meet them, say hello to them for us ;)
About the room, it was a bit of a let-down: quite small, cheap furniture which felt old, no small fridge (although there is room for it, and with the supermarket nearby, it would have been nice to put some of our own purchases in a fridge), ... it could be improved.
All in all though, a good stay, but mainly thanks to its personnel.

The hotel is not located in the city, but there is a subway station that takes ten minutes' walk to the old city. It is also very convenient because there is no taxi in the city to go to the airport. The breakfast in the hotel is very good, the variety is rich and the quality is good, and the service is particularly good. SANA is a local hotel chain in Portugal, and its quality and service are quite guaranteed. The hotel is located on the flight network where planes land and take off, but the soundproofing in the room is good, which is perfect if you want to watch and take pictures of planes.

The room is reasonably clean. But the remote control of the air conditioner was out of order. We needed to turn on the air conditioner by ourselves. Toothbrushes and toothpaste were out of stock. We needed to buy them ourselves. The bed was very big.

Hotel was very nice, I went to this hotel to meet my friend as she was staying here.
My room was well appointed, I had a comfortable bed, my bathroom was well supplied. I did not use the coffee/ tea facilities but they were available should I have wanted to use them. I was concerned that we were quite far away from the centre of town, but the metro made it quite convenient to access and we felt safe coming back in the evening.

Really clean! Great value for money! And spacious! The beds are so fluffy! The only minor thing is that the water facilities are shared, so you have to be a bit mindful, but because it's so clean, it was fantastic! There's even a kitchen, I wish I could have used it!

Amazing
TTomazzI recently stayed at Hotel Lumen and had a really great experience. The service was outstanding – the staff were friendly, helpful and always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are delightfully spacious and modern, much larger than what you usually find, with comfortable king size bed.
The bar deserves a special mention:
they serve excellent drinks and cocktails, perfect for unwinding in the evening at also to see the lightshow from or going out to the patio
Location-wise, it's very convenient depending on your plans – close to metro and within easy reach of both the city center and other areas.
Overall, highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
GGuest UserI spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts:
PROS:
- Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport.
- Nice decors and overall pretty clean.
CONS:
- The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room.
- Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer.
NNuannuanIt's been a while, but the memory is still vivid. The room was spacious, and breakfast was excellent – unlimited egg tarts! The capsule coffee was surprisingly good, comparable to freshly ground. Maybe I was just exhausted, but this last stop was pretty good. It started raining heavily as we left, marking the beginning of the rainy season, yet the taxi drivers didn't overcharge, which felt like a perfect ending!
I must have a soft spot for Portugal; even after 10 days, I still wanted more. So, I'm happy to express my gratitude to the places I stayed and the people who helped and served me! Wishing you all the best!
LLily&lacyIt is not soundproof at all... I am a good sleeper. I have been in Europe for more than a month. The wall of this house is like cardboard. The normal speech next door is clear, just like in the ear... day, but breakfast is delicious. Location is generally cheap after all, Lisbon taxi
GGuest UserTop-notch hotel, excellent services, cleanliness, courtesy, and helpfulness. I always have a wonderful stay when I manage to find availability at Hotel Roma.
AAihechadeyangguangmaoThe location of the hotel is excellent and the facilities are very good. But the service is really bad. First, the friend's room can't be done. Find the service staff to wait for a long time! It is very troublesome to check in.
GGuest UserOverall great stay. It was a comfortable experience in a spacious room compared to a typical hotel room. Only downside is that it is bit further away from the city center so bit additional travel was required, but for the price and comfort I did not mind it. Only thing I wish they had was washer/dryer.
GGuest UserMy husband and I loved it. I was a little apprehensive because I saw a lot of comments about the area where the apartments are located and I didn't see anything wrong with the ”men on the stairs”. They were just drinking and having fun. They didn't even look at us or intimidate us. And we arrived very late because we went out to enjoy ourselves a bit.
The apartment is excellent, super clean, smells impeccable.
AAnonymous UserThe room with bathroom inside the room with balcony.
No curtains on the beds, the light can bother, no privacy.
There is elevator, no problems with luggage.
There is a kitchen, but is closed in the night time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
SSefy LevyThis hostel is located about 3km walk from the center city, but does have some close by attractions (such as the Jeronimo's Monetary)
The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall.
We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos)
We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond.
Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.
