LLuis LuOverall satisfactory, but the duplex is actually very inconvenient. You have to go downstairs to go to the toilet at night; but the location is excellent, the Winter Palace, the Blood Cathedral, and Nevsky Street are all walking.

-Location: Just a 5-minute walk from the train station, on Nevsky Prospekt, very convenient for getting to all of St. Petersburg's attractions. Plenty of bus routes are nearby.
-Environment: We booked a triple room, which was very spacious with high ceilings and high-end kitchen appliances. Breakfast trays were collected daily, the room was cleaned, dishes were washed, and bottled water was provided.
-Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast had many choices. We selected our meals and time on the iPad at the front desk the day before (Chinese language available!), and a staff member delivered the meal to our room – excellent service. Three jars of jam were delivered on the morning of our check-out.
For this location and price, this hotel is incredibly good value! Our family was very satisfied!

Almost everything is within walking distance. The decor and amenities are excellent, with beautiful architecture and décor. The toiletries provided in the room are also good. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserIt is far away from the city and has convenient surroundings. It has a four-star logo. The restaurant on the first floor is delicious but not expensive. There is a classical piano in the bar in the evening. Opposite is a ”Friday” supermarket. The apartment facilities are similar to those in China, but there is a kitchen and tableware. The environment is very good. It's a relatively new building, so you don't have to worry about traveling with a car. How could such a good place not have reviews? The price/performance ratio is very good.

Choosing the right hotel was crucial for my trip to St. Petersburg! Helen Hotel truly exceeded my expectations and deserves a five-star recommendation!
📍 Prime Location, Within Walking Distance of Attractions
Located in a historic building in the city center, it's about a 500-meter walk to St. Isaac's Cathedral, 700 meters to the Winter Palace, and close to the Admiralty Headquarters. A shopping street is right outside, with restaurants, supermarkets, and chocolate shops. Admiralteyskaya metro station is just 350 meters away—super convenient for getting around!
🛏️ Clean and Elegant Room, I Slept Absolutely!
The neoclassical decor is very stylish, the space is spacious, and the natural light is excellent. The bedding is soft, and the soundproofing is superb. The room was spotless, with a separate shower and toilet and plenty of hot water. The toiletries smelled wonderful, and the room was cleaned promptly every day—perfect attention to detail.
👩💼 Friendly Service, Fluent English
The front desk staff speaks excellent English, are enthusiastic and efficient. Arriving early, they proactively helped with check-in and patiently provided maps and restaurant recommendations. The bellhops were helpful, and the 24-hour front desk was always responsive, making me feel very safe.
🍳 The breakfast was plentiful and catered to Asian tastes. The breakfast restaurant had an elegant ambiance and offered both Chinese and Western options: freshly ground coffee, fresh bread, sausages and bacon, roasted mushrooms, fruit, pure fruit juice, and creamy milk. The variety was extensive and the food was delicious, giving me a great start to each day.
✨ Summary: A high-value four-star hotel in downtown St. Petersburg: excellent location, new rooms, warm service, and a fantastic breakfast. A worry-free and comfortable stay in St. Petersburg, I'll definitely choose it again next time!

VViktoria AndreoliWe stayed at Hotel Saint Petersburg and found the location good for visiting the city.
Unfortunately, not all of our experiences with the staff were positive: some people – in particular one at the reception and one in the restaurant in the evening – were rather unfriendly with us, perhaps also because we are Italian, and they were not even able to inform us that European Visa and Mastercard cards were blocked due to sanctions.
One aspect that definitely needs improvement is cleanliness, both in the rooms and in the restaurant, especially considering this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel.
On the positive side, breakfast was very rich and varied, and we would like to sincerely thank the staff members who made our stay more pleasant: the young man preparing omelettes in the morning, two receptionists, and one of the ladies welcoming guests at the restaurant in the morning. All of them were kind, helpful, and professional.
Overall, the location, breakfast, and some of the staff deserve a positive mention, although we regret that not all the service and staff lived up to the expectations of a 4-star hotel.

GGuest UserOverall, the stay was satisfactory, although the room ventilation was quite poor and the room felt too warm.
The major letdown was the check-in experience with Ms. Sophia, who appeared to be new and seemed quite confused about our booking. Unfortunately, she did not appear to understand how to handle the situation, which resulted in considerable delay and confusion. Rather than apologizing, she raised her voice in front of other guests standing at the check-in counter, which was highly unprofessional.
Thankfully, Mr. Ildor stepped in to assist, and the matter was eventually resolved after about 30 minutes. His help was appreciated and made a difficult situation manageable.

GGuest UserI absolutely loved staying at this hotel. From the moment I walked in, the whiteness of the entrance, staircase and reception area was wonderful and it was so clean! The staff was very quick and courteous while checking us in.
When we entered our room, it was a delight - spotless, gorgeous cushions and good windows. We were so happy. We had an extra bed added which did make the walking space a little less but since we were out most of the day, it didn't matter.
We stayed for 6 days and in that time they responded to all our requests quickly and efficiently.
The bathroom was super spacious and we loved the big tub, especially in the winter when you want to have a hot bath!
The reception staff was very helpful with directions, booking a taxi, and in addressing all our questions.
The breakfast staff was also very helpful and polite.
There are 2 negatives I noticed - the breakfast plates were sometimes dirty and i had to request the staff for clean plates. And the shower curtains should be cleaned.
Overall its an amazing hotel and we will definitely stay there if we go back to StP.
The location is phenomenal, cant get better than this!
One tip- breakfast is good but exactly the same every single day, there is nothing new and no change, so if you like some variety, there is a breakfast place opposite. You could go there sometimes.
Definitely a highly recommended hotel!

AANUBHAV2386We stayed for 3 nights in Saint Petersburg. So 1) location: The hotel is in a quiet locality and is almost unrecognizable. Does not look like a hotel from the outside 2) Staff support: The staff speaks minimal english 3) Service: The hotel does not have breakfast or a restaurant, but there are restaurants and cafes within walking distance (10 minutes), so workable; and the elevator makes quite a noise, but it's workable/safe. 4) Overall experience: Bad - Mediocre: No one helps you out with the luggage, even when they see you are struggling. I am not sure if that is the norm here in Russia. no courtesy, no support/ no extra help for any sort. I guess kindness is chargeable in Russia. Not just this hotel, every hotel we stayed in Russia, I saw no one helping families or even asking for help. Just cold, transactional behavior.

AAnonymous UserVery clean hotel and pretty good location, friendly staff. I arrived early at the hotel, but since they had a free room, they let me in at 12pm. I was grateful for that. The room is clean enough. The cooler with a water is located near the reception( has hot and cold water). They also have a restaurant with breakfast, lunch and dinner (quite a lot of people were there). Unfortunately, I didn't have time to try, but ... I think that people went there for a reason, and most likely they offer decent food, which they cook themselves. For that kind of money, I think it's a very good option.
I want to note that the sound insulation between the rooms is not very good.
