LLuis LuOverall satisfactory, but the duplex is actually very inconvenient. You have to go downstairs to go to the toilet at night; but the location is excellent, the Winter Palace, the Blood Cathedral, and Nevsky Street are all walking.

AAnonymous UserPros: Excellent value. Very close to the train station, convenient for those traveling in and out of Moscow. Nevsky Prospekt and the metro station are both very close, and the Bull Restaurant is just over a 10-minute walk away. I bought a three-day St. Petersburg pass, which made bus and metro travel very convenient. The hotel was very clean, with a bar on the first floor offering free snacks. The breakfast was excellent, with hot dishes suitable for Chinese palates. The family rooms also had kitchenware, allowing for cooking vegetables. The staff were also very friendly, and the front desk spoke English. On my last day, I had to catch a train and had breakfast at 7:30, which they readily agreed to.
Cons: The hotel is difficult to find. After exiting the train station, go past two traffic lights and into a small alley, turn right. There's a bakery on the corner, next to a bank. There's a small white door (see the third picture, the small door next to the green shop). Ring the doorbell and go up to the second floor to check in. The hotel is a converted old building, so there's no elevator.

DdeeperloverA perfect hotel in an unbeatable location, right next to St. Isaac's and the Winter Palace, close to the cruise ship terminal, and a short walk to Nevsky Prospekt. Almost everything is within walking distance. The decor and amenities are excellent, with beautiful architecture and décor. The toiletries provided in the room are also good. Highly recommended.

Hygiene: Clean, no strange smells. Very satisfied.
Environment: Great. There's a ramen restaurant downstairs. It would be perfect if the soundproofing for rooms facing the street were a bit better.
Service: Excellent. They helped me with my luggage.

MMalkov AlekseiWonderful hotel. Even though the facade is currently undergoing renovation, we were given an upgraded room on the 6th floor (the facade is covered up to the 5th floor) with a view of the main street. Our room had both a shower and a bathtub, which was very convenient. There was even bath salts provided. All toiletries, including toothbrushes, were available. Hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, a safe, and a refrigerator were also in the room. Breakfasts were à la carte with 3 options, very filling. Good coffee, pastries, and fruit. Housekeeping daily. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne for our wedding anniversary. The hotel's location is ideal. I would definitely be happy to stay here again.

AANUBHAV2386We stayed for 3 nights in Saint Petersburg. So 1) location: The hotel is in a quiet locality and is almost unrecognizable. Does not look like a hotel from the outside 2) Staff support: The staff speaks minimal english 3) Service: The hotel does not have breakfast or a restaurant, but there are restaurants and cafes within walking distance (10 minutes), so workable; and the elevator makes quite a noise, but it's workable/safe. 4) Overall experience: Bad - Mediocre: No one helps you out with the luggage, even when they see you are struggling. I am not sure if that is the norm here in Russia. no courtesy, no support/ no extra help for any sort. I guess kindness is chargeable in Russia. Not just this hotel, every hotel we stayed in Russia, I saw no one helping families or even asking for help. Just cold, transactional behavior.

AAnonymous UserVery clean hotel and pretty good location, friendly staff. I arrived early at the hotel, but since they had a free room, they let me in at 12pm. I was grateful for that. The room is clean enough. The cooler with a water is located near the reception( has hot and cold water). They also have a restaurant with breakfast, lunch and dinner (quite a lot of people were there). Unfortunately, I didn't have time to try, but ... I think that people went there for a reason, and most likely they offer decent food, which they cook themselves. For that kind of money, I think it's a very good option.
I want to note that the sound insulation between the rooms is not very good.

KKumnataVery enjoyed the Trauberg Hotel!!! First, it is located next to the Gorkovsky metro station, the tram and bus station as well.in the second almost in the same house and to it the most delicious, with excellent service and (price= quality) cafes, restaurants and bakery. The hotel itself is a visit once in a residential house, on each floor 3 rooms on the right and 3 on the left, floor 5. All hotel is very clean, on the recipes of a pleasant and friendly staff. The room itself (we got on the 5th floor(no elevator!!)) Inside- modern repair and furniture, and a sleek. There is a closet+slippers; mini-refrigerator, tv, microwave, teapot. Welcome tea, coffee for 2 packets; shampoo, gel d/d, toothbrush . There were 7 days no longer replenished. Bed 2bedroom with a comfortable mattress and good clothing, towels clean(but also not once changed!!!it is strange). Cleaned every day. Did down 1 star for service and cleanliness, according to the above facts. Ah yes the hotel offers a custom breakfast 600 with a person, I think it is not worth such money, around so much delicious and atmospheric places that for this money it is definitely possible to refresh breakfast.
