"Staff are great, and everything about the hotel itself is also great. But I personally don’t like the location and the whole area around because especially as a woman traveling alone fatih and sultanahmet area is not the best choice. There are tourist traps and in some areas people looking at you like a target, I heard some people also get stabbed in fatih."

"For a trip to Istanbul's Old City, the Hampton by Hilton Sirkeci is a top choice. Its location is a major highlight, just a short walk from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar. It's also right next to Sirkeci train station and a tram stop, making intercontinental travel and sightseeing incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is new and clean, with compact yet practical room layouts, comfortable bedding, and excellent water pressure in the bathrooms. Housekeeping is thorough daily. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety of Turkish local dishes and Western light meals, and complimentary tea and snacks are available all day. They have a 24-hour front desk and a small gym. The front desk staff are friendly and professional, always ready to help with travel planning or arranging taxis. Overall, it offers great value for money, making it a hassle-free stay for pure tourists."

"A good hotel, conveniently located. From the airport, you can take a bus to Sultanahmet and walk a short distance, and the same goes for the return trip from the same stop. All the main attractions are within walking distance, and the T1 tram line has a very convenient route. Near the hotel, there are many shops, cafes, and currency exchange offices with good rates. The staff were all friendly. Unfortunately, our English isn't great, but they patiently explained everything to us. The room was small but cozy, clean, and had all the amenities. The breakfasts were delicious and satisfying. Overall, this was our first trip to Istanbul, and we spent a long time choosing a hotel. In the end, everything went great, and we were very happy with our stay. I hope we can come back again!"

"Great location, just a relaxed 5-10 minute stroll from the Blue Mosque, with the Basilica Cistern on the way. In the other direction, it's a 5-minute walk to the Bayezid Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and markets nearby. It's a small, cozy hotel in a quiet spot. The staff speak many languages and are always ready to help and offer advice. Our compact room had everything we needed, and everything worked perfectly. Thanks to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!"

"The location couldn't be better: close to the metro and the Eminonu Pier, all the main attractions are no more than a 15-minute walk away. The room was very spacious by Istanbul standards. Besides the bed, the room included a vanity, a soft chair, nightstands, a TV, a minibar/fridge, a hairdryer, and power outlets near the bed. It's a shame there wasn't a kettle. The bed linens were clean, and the towels were not new, but they were also clean. Breakfast was varied and served from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, with brewed coffee."

"Good day! Overall, this is a very good hotel for the price! The only thing I didn't like was that the walls felt like drywall, and the noise insulation was very poor. If someone was talking near your door, you'd be unlikely to sleep, and if someone closed a door, the bang would practically echo in your ears! We eventually got used to it. However, the soundproofing from the street was generally quite good. They have those French-style balconies. Breakfast was different almost every day, but there were also some consistent items. The staff were friendly. Housekeeping was daily or on request and they did a good job. The hotel's location is excellent, with a metro station right outside, a tram stop within walking distance, and a ferry just a short walk down. Major attractions are all within easy reach. It felt safe; we visited many areas, including some 'ghettos'. There are several good places to eat nearby. There's a currency exchange on the way to the ferry, and the rates were always good, among the best we saw while traveling around the city. Thank you!"

"Wonderful hotel! It's right next to the Grand Bazaar. The location is good, but it's on a hill, so it can be tough climbing back up when you're tired in the evening 😅. The breakfasts are very tasty and substantial; there's something for everyone. The staff is welcoming and kind; you can ask them anything. They speak several languages, which is very convenient. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the tea, coffee, and water in the room were replenished every day. We loved everything; there was nothing that spoiled our trip! Thank you for the stay ❤️"

"The hotel is very cozy, freshly renovated, snow-white linen, cleaning every day. Very clean. The staff is wonderful, English-speaking, but there were no problems with communication. Tea, coffee available 24 hours a day. Breakfast: eggs, cold meats, cheese slices, French fries, some vegetables, muffins, cookies. The location of the hotel is convenient, 10 minutes to the Blue Mosque at a leisurely pace. I really liked everything! I recommend! 👍"

"The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival, they offered coffee or tea and provided maps, explaining nearby attractions and convenience stores, which was super helpful. They even gave me a special scarf, which came in handy for visiting the mosque as it requires a headscarf – a meaningful touch! They also helped carry my luggage upstairs and provided several complimentary bottles of water, which not all hotels do. The breakfast spread was one of the best I've had at any hotel, with a good variety, and the fruits like cherries and watermelon were very sweet! When checking out, they even gave me a local fridge magnet, which was a lovely gesture! The value for money is excellent, and the owner and staff are all so warm. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, and its location is fantastic – very close to the mosque. You just have to walk up a hill and cross the road to get there, or you can take the tram up the hill for convenience. The only downside is that the uphill path can be quite steep and uneven, so wearing sneakers is recommended for comfort. Hauling luggage can be a bit challenging, but you can always take a taxi directly to the hotel entrance. Despite the tricky walk, overall, I'm extremely satisfied!"

"The hotel converted from an apartment has an excellent location, right next to Istanbul's Grand Bazaar and Turkish Baths. It is very convenient to visit the Bazaar or take a bath. There are also Chinese restaurants nearby, although the taste is not authentic, it is better than nothing. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helped call a taxi and help negotiate the price. If you like to visit old streets, you can choose here, although the conditions are average."
