Amazing
伊尔姆河畔普法芬霍芬霍根The proprietress was very enthusiastic and helped us book a car to the airport. The car drove very well and steadily, and it was cheaper than grab! Breakfast included, optional, the location is also good, quiet in the noisy, the room is clean and big. Our room has a small balcony, and it is very comfortable to sit on the balcony at night...I am generally satisfied.

Amazing
GGuest UserThis was a hotel that I spent a long time researching before booking. It had excellent reviews and a very high rating online. Unfortunately, my experience was a case of “looks great from a distance, but not quite as impressive up close.” Let me start with the positives. The lobby is beautiful, with a charming vintage design that creates a great first impression. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and communicated well in English. Upon arrival, we were offered cold towels and refreshing welcome drinks, which was a nice touch after a long journey. We decided to have lunch at the hotel’s restaurant. The food was average—not particularly memorable, but enough to satisfy our hunger. The staff escorted us and our luggage to the room. At first glance, the room looked acceptable, but as someone who is quite particular about cleanliness, I quickly noticed a significant amount of dust on various surfaces. I tried not to dwell on it because, for me, the most important thing is a clean and comfortable bed. Unfortunately, that night became the worst part of our stay. I barely slept during my first night. Throughout the night, I felt as though something was biting my skin, and I found myself constantly scratching. It was extremely uncomfortable and frustrating. The following morning during breakfast, a staff member kindly asked how we had slept. I honestly explained my experience and mentioned that I felt I had been bitten by something during the night. I requested that the bed linens be changed. To their credit, the staff responded immediately. They informed the front desk, and shortly afterwards a manager came to speak with us personally, apologised sincerely, and arranged for a deep cleaning of our room. At that moment, I truly appreciated their attitude because they made me feel that they genuinely cared and were actively trying to solve the problem. We then left for our day of sightseeing. When we returned to the hotel that afternoon, I was genuinely surprised. The room felt completely different from the day before. It smelled fresh and clean, every surface had been thoroughly wiped down, the floors were spotless, and even the musty smell that I had previously noticed was gone. The room finally felt as clean as I had expected from a highly rated hotel. As an additional gesture, the hotel offered me a complimentary 20-minute herbal bath treatment as compensation. I thought that was a thoughtful gesture and appreciated the effort they made to make things right. Most importantly, I slept wonderfully on the second night. For service and recovery, I would honestly give the team more than full marks. While the initial issue should not have happened, the way they handled the situation was professional, sincere, and efficient. As for breakfast, it was decent and perfectly acceptable. There was enough variety, although I believe there is still room for improvement. I would still recommend this hotel. The location is excellent, with many attractions and the riverside within easy walking distance. Regarding the facilities, they are all on the smaller side. The swimming pool is beautiful but quite small. The gym is compact, and the children’s playroom is also rather limited in size. None of these were deal-breakers for us, but they are worth noting for future guests. Overall, while the stay did not start well, the outstanding service recovery and excellent location left a positive final impression. No hotel is perfect, but what matters is how they respond when something goes wrong—and this hotel handled it exceptionally well.

GGuest UserAs a relatively new hotel, the facilities and rooms were incredibly clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. The front desk staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, diligently addressing even the smallest issues, which I truly appreciated. It was also a plus that there was a staff member who could speak Korean. While there were a couple of mix-ups on the hotel's part, they handled them smoothly and professionally in the end, so I was satisfied. The breakfast offered a wide variety, but the taste was a bit disappointing; however, it was perfectly fine for a quick morning bite. The peach yogurt was absolutely delicious, and the staff were very friendly too! If I visit Da Nang again, I would definitely want to stay at this hotel.

MMarg088_I can't think of a single bad word when I recall my time at this hotel. Everything was top-notch, from the reception area to the gym, the pool, and even the laundry service. It's a really great hotel; everything is clean, the housekeeping is excellent, the staff are friendly and very pleasant, and the breakfast is varied. The gym is well-equipped with all the necessary gear. There's a small shopping center nearby with a grocery store and a Starbucks, as well as many eateries on the 4th floor. You'll need to take a taxi to the beach, but the pool is so clean and enjoyable that you won't even want to go anywhere else. The hotel also offers spa services. I highly recommend it! Thank you for your hospitality. We checked in at 9:00 AM using the 50% off early check-in service, bought breakfast, and even made it in time for it, as it was served until 10:30 AM.

BBouangeunArrival & First Impression (7/10): Mandila Beach Hotel’s understated facade belies its prime location along Da Nang’s bustling My Khe Beach. The lobby exudes a contemporary minimalism, with natural light streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows, casting soft shadows at midday. Acoustics are well-managed, ensuring hushed conversations despite the proximity to the entrance. A refreshing lemongrass spritz upon arrival was a thoughtful touch, though the welcome ritual lacked the personal flourish one might expect at this tier. Room / Suite Inspection (6.5/10): Initially assigned a room marred by an unpleasant bathroom odour, the staff promptly relocated me to a smaller, albeit odour-free, alternative due to full occupancy. While the room was impeccably clean, the compromise in size detracted from the overall experience. Natural light at golden hour was enchanting, highlighting the crisp, high-thread-count linens. The duvet, weighing a comforting 12 pounds, promised restful slumber. However, storage space was limited, and the tech offerings felt slightly outdated. Service & Staff Interactions (7.5/10): The staff demonstrated commendable responsiveness, particularly in rectifying the initial room issue. Their attentiveness was evident, yet there were moments where interactions veered towards the procedural rather than the intuitive. A memorable instance was a staff member’s recommendation for a local hidden gem, which enriched my stay considerably. Dining & F&B (6/10): Breakfast was serviceable, offering a decent selection of local and international fare. However, it lacked the finesse and creativity one might anticipate in a luxury setting. The eggs Benedict, while perfectly cooked, was served with a hollandaise that bordered on bland. The bar, situated on the rooftop, provided panoramic views and a well-curated cocktail menu, though service was inconsistent. Facilities & Amenities (7/10): The rooftop pool, maintained at a refreshing 26°C, was a sanctuary from the city’s heat. The gym, though compact, was equipped with modern apparatus. Spa services, while pleasant, did not quite reach the transformative heights expected. The hotel’s gardens, lush and meticulously maintained, offered a tranquil escape. Location & Context (8/10): Situated directly on My Khe Beach, Mandila Beach Hotel offers unparalleled access to the sand and sea. The neighborhood, a blend of local charm and tourist amenities, provides a genuine taste of Da Nang. However, the proximity to a busy road occasionally intrudes on the otherwise serene environment. Value Perception & Any Standout / Disappointing Elements (6.5/10): While the hotel offers a comfortable stay, certain elements fall short of justifying its premium pricing. The inconsistency in room size and service detracts from the overall value. Nonetheless, the location and rooftop amenities are commendable. Final Verdict + Score (7.0/10): Mandila Beach Hotel delivers a competent luxury experience, though it is marred by notable inconsistencies. It is a solid choice for travellers prioritising location and comfort, though those seeking a seamless, opulent stay may find better alternatives nearby. Who it’s for: Couples and solo travellers seeking a beachfront retreat in Da Nang. I would not return but might recommend the Anantara Hoi An Resort for a more consistently luxurious experience.

AAnonymous UserThe room all old furniture… Small room… can’t imagine those who bring big luggage, hardly got space to walk… Such small room should remove the small table and chairs… The TV remote was not working, request to change battery … they say will come to my room immediately … but in the end… waited 10minutes nobody comes.. I have to bring the remote to reception to get the battery replaced …. They got a cold fridge… The breakfast serve nice buttery pancakes… Other food… not so good… They never top up food when finished… The restaurant that only one who always give a smiling face is the one who cook the pancake and egg station… More room for improvement… Surprisingly this hotel have many Indian nationals customers … so you can see few when breakfast, use hand to take food although tongs are provided …I just comment what I saw in the 3 days…no hard feelings … Hotel Near 2 nice bakeries…and Macdonal… Also near an overpriced massage place for men… no women… better skip this place…

RRuan Ming Jun (The Good King)The hotel looks good at first glance – the view is beautiful, the room is spacious and nicely decorated. On the surface, it feels like a quality stay. But that’s where the positives end. The amenities inside the room are very basic, and honestly feel cheap compared to the standard of the room. Considering the price (which is not cheap at all), the overall impression is underwhelming. Breakfast was a complete disaster – poor quality, lack of variety, and far below the standard expected from a hotel of this level. It left a really bad taste for the rest of the stay. On top of that, the front desk staff were not friendly. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them every time I approached. Hospitality is supposed to be about warmth and service, but this hotel failed badly in that regard. Verdict: Beautiful view and spacious room cannot make up for the poor service, terrible breakfast, and disappointing amenities. Definitely not worth the price. I would not stay here again.
