Friendly and professional staff. Clean simple rooms. Excellent location, can walk to many restaurants, bakeries, night market, rivers, mountain temple, etc. WiFi could be faster and more reliable. Breakfast is okay, great fruit plate and croissants. Excellent staff. Laundry two doors down.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home throughout my stay. The location is right in the town center, which made it very convenient to explore the main attractions, cafés, and night market on foot. The building itself is full of charm and character, reflecting the heritage of Luang Prabang. They also offer motorbike rental services, which is very handy for travelers who want to explore further. Another point I appreciated is that they keep guests’ passports safely in-house, rather than handing them to an external party—this gave me extra peace of mind. Honestly, I couldn’t find any downside during my stay. Everything was smooth and enjoyable, and I would happily return again.

I love the Villa a lot. It’s quiet, clean, and very near to the river, old town, and temples. The breakfast is so great. Customer service is top notch! I love every minute of my stay in Luang Prabang and this hotel is a part of that.

Great location with friendly and english-speaker staff. Walking distance to night market & museum. Alms giving ceremony just in front of this guesthouse. Mount Phousi trailhead is also just nearby. Offers many services & tour options with the cheapest price. For a muslim like me, it is easy to locate halal restaurants nearby - right by the Mekong riverside. All in all, I’m glad i stayed here and will definitely stay again if i am visiting Luang Prabang in future. Thanks 🙏

Location is good as it’s near to the main city of Luang Prabang. Sound proofing was really bad, can hear ppl’s footsteps at corridor. Room is clean One thing I really don’t like is that one of the staffs was dishonest. They charged us 190k kip for airport ride. But when we checked with another staff for our return airport transport, he told us it was only 150k Kip, he was shocked too when heard that we were charged 190k kips.  Many restaurants nearby.

A very cozy little home with only three guest rooms in total. The service is excellent, and the owner always greets you warmly whenever they see you. The facilities and cleanliness are decent enough, as you can't expect too much given the nature of the place.

I recently stayed at Pakhongthong Villa in Luang Prabang, and it was an exceptional experience! The location is perfect, conveniently situated near key attractions and within easy walking distance to the city center. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They assisted us in booking a minivan to the stunning Kuang Si Waterfalls and also arranged a shuttle to the train station, which was very convenient. The villa itself is beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful and luxurious ambiance. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Luang Prabang!

The owner is very familiar with surrounding restaurants, if you have no good options in mind, just ask him, his recommendations are always nice! I do like its layout, very typical style of Laos. It’s clean without annoying mosquitoes 😅

Good location in the historic district. No river view, and only a view of a wall (with plants to liven it up), but that's okay as it's private. The rivers, temples, colonial buildings, and numerous places to eat and shop are all just a few minutes' walk away. Clean and spacious room, with separate shower, so the bathroom floor doesn't get too wet. Fridge, kettle, and toiletries are provided. Friendly staff, but they lock the front door at night. So if you want to go out or come back late, you have to wake up the night receptionist.

Although we had a very comfortable stay we encountered quite a few issues. The vent in the bathroom had a slight opening which meant we had constantly had flies come into the bathroom and the room was quite dusty in places. Also just be aware the door doesn't lock automatically when you close it. Having said all that the staff were super helpful and friendly and did everything they could to make sure we had a comfortable stay.

Overall a nice little guest house. You are greeted at the reception. You can also rent a scooter from them inexpensively. Here you can also buy tickets for a boat cruise on the Mekong River from the reception. And also buy tickets to go to the caves and see something. It is also possible to buy tickets to see the elephants. You can also book train tickets from them, as well as bus tickets. And other services - they will do everything for you. It is located next to a delicious restaurant: "Khaiphaen". Ask at reception where it is. They will tell you everything about Luang Probang.

First impressions on arrival at Pakhongthong Villa were that it was very dated and was in need of some upgrading. Stains on the ceiling and bulbs missing in the room did nothing to improve the look of the place and other minor things, such as a loose and stained toilet seat and an overall lack of natural light didn't help. However, it is located in a fairly central location, just off the Mekong River and close to many restaurants, bars and sights. Staff were helpful and courteous and the standard of daily cleaning was excellent.
