Close to everything, great service, friendly and helpful staff

Very nice people working in tis Riad.Mohamed and the girls very good atenttion with us. Close to the center to go shopping. Nice and safe Riad. We had a Great stay and we love Everything. Beds confortable and nice rooms. We Will come back!!!!!

Very cute riad, nicely decorated, with good location and friendly staff! Rooms were clean, not very spacious, but big enough. The reception area is beautiful and the rooftop is great, offering enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy the sun. I will recommend this place to my friends and really hope we will visit again some day.

Wonderful staff, perfect location, quiet, peaceful and understated. Decorated nicely, felt like a genuine old Maroccan home. Our room was cleaned daily and the temperature was great. Rooftop a sunny oasis with wonderful views and places to relax. Friendly cats and homely atmosphere. Concierge always available day and night to help with any of our needs. Will definitely come back

We booked this Riad for our first few nights in Morocco. What a disappointment it was. We had reserved a junior suite, but upon arrival we were given a smaller room and expected to pay the same price. When we questioned this, the night manager's first words were 'so you make trouble right from the beginning, you need to pay me now'. We offered to pay for the first night and reconsider our position, but the only options we were given were to stay in the small room, for the price we paid for the suite, or to pay twenty Euros per night more for a different room. The night manager could have accepted our money for one night, but was in fact so rude and unwelcoming that we went in search of (and found) alternative accommodation instead, despite the late hour. In addition to this debacle, the Riad proved to be nothing like the pictures online (we booked with *******). It is old and tatty, pokey, dark, and generally not nearly as pleasant as is suggested by the website. It is also quite hard to find, being down a dark alley, around a corner and badly signed. I can't recommend this establishment on any level, based on the fact they double booked my room, because 'they had a better booking'. Also the night manager was very unpleasant. Also, he expected me to call his boss myself to sort the problem out, after offering us a downgrade or paying more money for another room. Also because they refused to give me a refund, took my money without permission, even though I did not stay there because my room was double booked. Also because the place is not on any level as nice as the pictures suggest. To be clear, they gave our suite to another paying guest, then charged us for it, even though we did not stay there. They are crooks. I hate writing bad reviews, but this place needs to be avoided, at all costs. It's not great, they are thieves, don't stay there.

We had the best experience at the riad. We were a group of four girls and felt incredibly welcome by the staff. We would like to thank especially Naima and Mohamed for their kindness as well as all the members that made our experience so safe and lovely. Also they prepared us some of the best tea we ever tried :) We know where to return when we go back to Marrakech!

We booked Riad Vendôme for a Hen do party in Marrakech for 20 girls. The riad was the perfect place to celebrate Lila's hen weekend and we hope to be back. Thanks Naima and Mohamed for this wonderful time.

We stayed in riad vendome for 2 nights in March and was a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect and thanks for the moroccan team to the attentive service !! In a great area closed to the main souk, and a few minutes walking distance for main the square. The manager, Naima, was superb and made us feel safe at all times; by making sure we understood the culture of the Medina. The night time manager was also great and greeted us ! A very comfortable stay, with Spa and jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace! Thank you so much ☺️

Not honest... Booked via ***********, got a confirmation and all looked good. Shortly after got a Whatsapp message from Eric, see screenshot, saying I can get a discount if I cancel with *********** and book direct. Preferred the safety of a confirmaed reservation with *********** so left it and was prepared to pay more for the peace of mind, that and alarm bells started ringing. As I had left it this obviously upset them as they were probably expecting me to cancel and go direct so they said my credit card would not pre-authorise and that if I did not update with another my booking wouod be cancelled. Updated my card with another and shortly after received another email from *********** sayong my card had been declined again... This being a card we had used while travelling the work for six months and had never ewver had a problem with it. Contacted *********** to let them know what was going on, lady was fairly helpful, not much resolved other than I asked her to seee if she could canel our booking, which thankfully she was able to and we will be going elsewhere. So be careful with these guys... I was in the hotel industry for 23 years and have seen and heard of these sorts of scams before. Main one being the overbooking, whereby hotels overbook then do everything they can to cancel your booking because they are receiving more money form nother client so boot you out. Usually they should book you to a similar or better hotel but this is often not the case. The credit card pre-auth is a classic ploy to be able to book you out. SOmetimes they will even book you out to another hotel wheree they get a better deal on it so they are even making money on your book out. Can't say for certain but this all felt like a bit of a scam and glad we cancelled. *********** you really need to do something about these guys as they have obviously done it before, judging by another guests experience, and will definitely be doing it again.

the one star is for the wonderful staff at the riad who deserves a 4-5 star on their own.. the owner is a bit shady as he cancelled my *********** reservation the day BEFORE we checked out - we had been staying for four days already- all so he doesn’t have to pay the commission at ***********. the riad is cute but sound travels from one room to the other easily. we were going to leave a positive review w some areas to improve - but then the entire scam of cancelling our reservation happened.

PHOTOSHOP, like I've never seen before (like in the movie "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe").. in short, bad, very bad, terrible with the number of Riads in Marrakech, fourth time I've been to this place, that's why we're back, but of course the city is the same, the Riad, No. To change to see new accommodations and catastrophic... They gave us part of the money back, it's clear if you're not right they won't give you a single euro back. The room with the patio is a hole, and since there's no room for activities at the door of the room, dinners, breakfasts, lunches, reception, guest check-in and check-out... If you want excitement and adrenaline rushes by raising your voice, GO AWAY... I have photos of all this, but let those who want to believe believe it. The curtains were never washed, the grab bar is built into the wall, and the bathroom has no door, other curtains, and no closet, just a bar and you hang your clothes, covered with... another cloth as a curtain. We had an excellent stay at Riad Vendôme in Marrakech. The riad is very well located, a stone's throw from Rue des Antiquaires which leads us to Place Jemaa El Fna. The staff is very friendly. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by Naima and her excellent mint tea. Our room had all the necessary comfort and the large roof top terrace was very pleasant for enjoying succulent Moroccan dishes: the tagines and couscous are great. We also took advantage of the scrub services and massages: super relaxing, a real pleasure!!! This is not our first visit to Morocco but we liked this riad for its size, the terraces are very spacious and allow everyone to find a space to relax and sunbathe. We will come back with great pleasure.

We spent 4 nights in this very beautiful Riad. The stay was perfect. Very nice room, beautiful riad with a terrace on the top floor. it is well located! Naima and the entire team are very pleasant and attentive. Naima prepared an excellent dinner for us!! the breakfast is also delicious. Thanks again! Bertrand, Clémence and Victoire
