After a long day guests can head to the on-site bar to unwind with a beverage.For those travelling on business there are a number of meeting rooms at your disposal as well as the services of the business center.In their spare time guests can make use of this Xining hotel's spa, sauna and massage facilities, or hit the gym for something more active. In the evening pay a visit to the on-site nightclub or belt out some tunes in a private karaoke room. Parking is provided for free.
"The hotel room and its bathroom are very large spacious and they would meet four star hotel standard if they were kept clean and well maintained. But the carpet throughout the hotel needs to be changed and only one (and two later) out of four elevators was (were) working that caused big problems when all room were occupied. Guest reported the problem to the local police and a second elevator started to work one day later. Overall a great asset but very poor managed."

AAnonymous UserThis stay was absolutely amazing! Too bad my trip was so rushed, I forgot to take pictures of the room setup. Facilities: The room, lobby, TV, and air conditioning all felt brand new. The hot water pressure was great, really satisfying for a shower. Hygieness: Very clean! No dust on the room tables, the sheets and duvet covers were spotless, and they provided disposable amenities like face towels, toilet seat covers, toothbrushes, and cups. Environment: It seems like my room was upgraded to a family room? One bed was 1.8m and the other was 1.5m. The room was spacious enough to open my suitcase without blocking the walkway. Plus, I stayed for two nights and slept perfectly fine without earplugs, so the soundproofing is good. Service: Excellent! Anything I needed, the housekeeper was super quick to assist. The front desk ladies were all very warm and helpful, and other staff members I encountered in the hallway would politely greet me. A chain hotel of this quality definitely deserves to thrive and open more locations!

FF SheikhThe rooms are very big and spacious! Really helps one feel relaxed. The only problem we experienced was that there was a smoke smell in our rooms which was a surprise given we had selected non smoking rooms. The hotel staff made things right though immediately after we complained by switching our rooms. The rest of our stay was great. The location is pretty good with a lot of halal eating options nearby.

The rooms were thoroughly cleaned and the environment was tidy, which was very reassuring. The staff were warm, thoughtful, and efficient. There's an airport shuttle stop right outside, which makes transportation convenient and saves time and effort getting to and from the airport. Definitely worth staying again.

This is absolutely a top recommendation for accommodation when traveling in high-altitude regions! As part of the Jin Jiang chain, the hotel's quality is outstanding. Upon entering, I was immediately drawn to the grand and elegant decor. The bright, clean environment, combined with the front desk staff's warm smiles, instantly melted away my travel fatigue. Check-in was efficient and thoughtful; the staff were soft-spoken, answered all my questions, and professionally handed over the room card with both hands. The whole process was smooth, and they even patiently answered my questions about local attractions – truly a great first impression. My room experience exceeded all expectations! The spacious room, around 50 square meters, felt incredibly open. The smart home system made everything convenient, with voice control for curtains and lights being super easy to use. The Simmons mattress was just the right firmness, ensuring a restful sleep whether I was tired from sightseeing or a business trip. What was most thoughtful, especially considering the dry high-altitude climate, was the in-room humidifier and complimentary hot compress salt packs. After a day of exploring, relaxing with these really melted away all my fatigue. The bathroom had a dry-wet separation design, and the international brand toiletries were reassuring to use. The coffee machine with capsule coffee and complimentary soda water at the tea station were also lovely touches – every detail showed genuine care. The amenities were also incredibly comprehensive! The gym on the 20th floor had excellent equipment, and the self-service laundry room was clean, tidy, and regularly disinfected, which is so practical for long-term travelers. Dining was another highlight; the Tingyuan Halal Restaurant on the 3rd floor served authentic Qinghai specialties. The hand-grabbed lamb, stir-fried noodles (kàng guō), and traditional yogurt were delicious. Enjoying a barbecue in the evening breeze was incredibly pleasant. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety, ensuring a great start to the day. The hotel's location is also excellent, with convenient transportation nearby, making it easy to get to the train station or city attractions. Whether for family trips, business travel, or romantic getaways, the diverse room types can meet every need. I honestly couldn't find any faults during my stay; both comfort and value for money were exceptional. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Xining!

GGuest UserThe room was cozy and comfortable, complete with drip coffee. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the gym and laundry room were super convenient and well-equipped! The front desk service was excellent. My clothes were accidentally taken by another guest in the laundry room, and the staff helped me check the surveillance footage, located the guest, and even had my clothes washed and delivered to my room. Definitely deserves a five-star rating!

SSee LimWe stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is just opposite Xining Train Station and is quite convenient for transportation. The hotel room was clean but having cigarette smell even though I requested for non smoking room. The safe in the room was not working and the bathroom drainage was blockage. Most of the hotel staff here are not friendly and helpful. I would stay in other hotel if I visit to Xining again.

I absolutely have to sing its praises! First off, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive, making the entire experience fantastic. As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip. Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs. What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day. Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money. In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!
