"Extremely satisfied! When I was booking, I hesitated a bit because the total price for a 7-night stay wasn't cheap. However, I decided to book it after seeing that it's close to the station, has spacious rooms, and the beds in the twin rooms are larger than those in other hotels. Upon arrival, I was so glad we chose this place; it was incredibly convenient. Nagoya Station is directly accessible from the hotel. This made getting to and from the airport, traveling to other cities, visiting Legoland, and meeting for our day trip to Shirakawa-go all incredibly easy and saved us a lot of hassle. There's a food street on floors 12-13 directly downstairs, where we enjoyed several meals. The lobby is on the 15th floor and features Japan's highest Starbucks. A shopping mall is also directly accessible downstairs, making shopping at Takashimaya very convenient. For an extended stay, comfort is key. The rooms are spacious, offering city views. The shower is large, and the bath amenities are comprehensive. The complimentary capsule coffee machine and other in-room provisions were also quite nice. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with incredibly convenient access. If budget isn't a concern, I highly recommend it for families traveling with children."

"The lobby has a great artistic vibe. The hotel's location is superb, and nearby convenience stores are very handy. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit of a walk to the subway station, making it more suitable for families traveling by private car or chartered vehicle. On the bright side, the rooms are significantly more spacious than what you typically find in other Japanese hotels."

"Let's start with the objective pros: The location is excellent, right above Nagoya Station in one of its twin towers, with Takashimaya downstairs and Kintetsu lines and numerous famous shops nearby. Dining, shopping, and transportation are all incredibly convenient. However, my stay this time was very unpleasant. I booked three rooms on July 19th for three nights, from October 3rd to 6th. The reservation clearly stated no corner rooms and requested all three rooms to be on the same floor. Upon checking in on October 3rd, after receiving the room cards, I found all three rooms were corner rooms, and they were on different floors. Corner rooms are non-standard room types; they are oddly shaped, smaller than the standard size for the same room type, and have strange layouts. The bed is immediately visible upon entering, with a wall right next to it, as shown in picture one. Initially, they claimed they were fully booked. After some negotiation, they managed to switch one room to a standard room of the same type, but still on a different floor. Since we were rushing to a reserved restaurant that evening, we could only accept the one change for the time being. You can see what a normal room looks like in pictures 2, 3, 4, and 10. We rushed out that evening, worried about being late for our restaurant reservation. On October 4th, I contacted Ctrip, and they said they had spoken with the hotel and could upgrade the room type, with Ctrip covering the price difference. So I went to the front desk again to discuss it. Front desk manager Yuki Misaki stated that they were fully booked and couldn't make any changes, only offering to switch rooms on the last night, which was pointless. He then called Tsuyoshi Sakurai, the head of accommodation for that night. While Misaki was relaying the situation to Sakurai, he was smiling and talking, and the two of them were casually chatting and laughing in low voices. Misaki then stated that either we switch rooms on the last night or there was nothing they could do. There was no sincerity, only arrogance. I told them I would file a complaint about such an attitude, and the two even smiled and said I was welcome to complain and that making a big deal out of it was fine. The attitude of these two leadership-level staff at a Marriott hotel front desk was shocking. My dissatisfaction stems from: 1. During booking, I specified no corner rooms and requested them to be on the same floor, but all three ended up being corner rooms! And on different floors! I was hoping for the best but got the worst. If it were just one room, it might be acceptable, but all three being non-standard corner rooms makes me wonder if it was intentional discrimination. They initially claimed to be fully booked, but after negotiation, they could provide one standard room of the same type, which means their claim of being fully booked was deceitful. 2. Managers Misaki and Sakurai were dismissive and unhelpful when facing a customer, disregarding my concerns and refusing to address them. They even laughed and chatted casually in front of a customer, which was extremely disrespectful and rude. This is not the service attitude expected from a Marriott hotel front desk. Based on our experience, if your room number is 26, 27, or 14, it's a small, oddly shaped corner room. If you mind, you can directly request a change."

"The hotel is excellent. Though an older property, it's remarkably well-maintained. The airport bus drops you directly at the entrance, which is incredibly convenient. Downstairs, you'll find a 24-hour pharmacy, a convenience store, and a McDonald's. It's also just a 6-minute walk to the subway station, making transit very easy. Two popular chicken wing spots are a mere 2-minute walk behind the hotel and a 3-minute walk in front. The Chunichi Building is also nearby, where you can find Blue Cafe and Montbell, and take advantage of tax-free shopping. Legoland is directly accessible by subway, and arranging a chartered car to Shirakawa-go and Hida Takayama is hassle-free with direct hotel pick-up and drop-off. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Nagoya!"

"Nice hotel for short stay. We stayed in a deluxe room. Space is fine. Big enough to have 2 big suitcases. Room is well equipped. Location is fantastic. Very close to Nagoya station and subway station. We haven’t used the laundry facility, but you can see the process on the tv screen!"

"Five Stars! This hotel offers incredible value for money. It's perfectly located, just about 200 meters from Nagoya Station, with an abundance of izakayas nearby, making dining out extremely convenient. Our twin room even had the luxury of a wet-dry separated bathroom – a definite plus! The staff were diligent and well-trained, ensuring an incredibly efficient check-in process. Plus, there are two highly recommended breakfast spots right next door, Komeda and Hoshino, both excellent choices!"

"Stayed with BWH for nights. Pros: The location is great. Only approx. 5 minutes walk to Sakae Station. There are many restaurants to go to. Convenience shops like Lawson and 7 eleven are just across the road. The double room itself is spacious by Japanese standards (as in the photo). Cleanness is superior. The hotel does routine daily cleaning services including replacing slippers and towels, etc. Almost all amenities are provided at the reception. Must mention that many things like face cleansing gel are from Pola. Cons: The fridge makes clear noise (even when switched to level 1), so that I have to power off the fridge before sleeping. The soundproofing can be improved. I could hear laughter and natter from the next wall (their large voice did contribute though), especially when the night was very quiet. Another one is the small chair on the corner. It kept preventing me from accessing the window side of the bed. Should've chosen a better place to place it."

"This is my second stay here; I also stayed last year. The price is reasonable. The room with one large and one small bed was just right and didn't feel cramped, though it might be a bit small for two adults. It's super convenient, right outside Sakae Subway Station Exit 2. The hotel is new and clean! Right outside, there's a famous Nagoya chicken wing restaurant, and a tonkatsu restaurant is also very close by. Nagoya TV Tower is also nearby. All in all, the location is quite convenient. One minor point: I'm not sure why my room was always on the fourth or fifth floor. I wonder if this is common for Ctrip bookings, as I noticed other Korean tourists and guests from different countries were assigned higher floors."

"Overall, it was pretty decent. The room rate in September was quite reasonable, and the location is convenient for getting around, situated in the Sakae business district. Several subway stations are within easy walking distance. The hotel was quite busy; I arrived around 3 PM for check-in and still had to wait for 10 minutes. The room wasn't small by Japanese standards, and it even had a massager, which was great for a quick massage after a long day of walking. The front desk area offered a coffee and cocoa machine, and the laundry room next door had an ice machine – all very convenient. The only minor hiccup was that housekeeping misplaced my blanket. It took two days of back-and-forth communication to get it back. While their attitude was very polite, constantly apologizing, their service ultimately fell short. They only provided a hotel blanket as a temporary replacement *after* I specifically requested it. The entire process was very inefficient; once my blanket was located, they first sent a photo for my confirmation, which further delayed things, before finally sending someone to pick it up from the factory. I even had to alter my itinerary for the last day to wait for its return. Aside from verbal apologies, there was no compensation whatsoever. So, a traveler's note: always pack your personal items carefully before leaving the room..."

"The room isn't very big, listed as 18 square meters. Opening a suitcase flat on the floor was already a bit challenging. The facilities are all new, which is nice, and there's a hot spring bath. You can even see how crowded it is on the TV. It's indeed not very large, located on the 18th floor, which is also where the hotel's front desk is. It's a 'sky hotel,' only occupying floors 18-24, I believe. Oh, and a heads-up: during the National Day holiday, it was pretty much 'taken over' by Chinese tourists. While bathing, everyone was a fellow countryman. Back in my room, I could even hear a guy singing 'Zhu Ni Ping An' (Wish You You Peace) loudly in the hallway after his bath. The room offers a view of quite a distance. Nagoya is Japan's third-largest city, so it's quite expansive, and from the room, you can see an endless sprawl of buildings. The photos show the main entrance on the first floor, and how to transfer to another elevator to descend into Nagoya's 'underground world,' complete with signposts. Of course, there's a lobby. The first-floor elevator area is decorated with greenery and features Nagoya Castle's golden fish *shachihoko* ornaments."
