"Extremely satisfied! When I was booking, I hesitated a bit because the total price for a 7-night stay wasn't cheap. However, I decided to book it after seeing that it's close to the station, has spacious rooms, and the beds in the twin rooms are larger than those in other hotels. Upon arrival, I was so glad we chose this place; it was incredibly convenient. Nagoya Station is directly accessible from the hotel. This made getting to and from the airport, traveling to other cities, visiting Legoland, and meeting for our day trip to Shirakawa-go all incredibly easy and saved us a lot of hassle. There's a food street on floors 12-13 directly downstairs, where we enjoyed several meals. The lobby is on the 15th floor and features Japan's highest Starbucks. A shopping mall is also directly accessible downstairs, making shopping at Takashimaya very convenient. For an extended stay, comfort is key. The rooms are spacious, offering city views. The shower is large, and the bath amenities are comprehensive. The complimentary capsule coffee machine and other in-room provisions were also quite nice. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with incredibly convenient access. If budget isn't a concern, I highly recommend it for families traveling with children."

"The room was generously sized for Japan. It's conveniently located near Nagoya Station, just a 10-minute walk away. Several popular cafes and bakeries are also within easy reach. Overall, the location is extremely convenient. The Sakae shopping district is about a 20-minute walk."

"Well located hotel, beside nagoya station and next to malls (takashimaya). JR, subway and shinkansen accessible. 30mins ride via the airport train from nagoya airport. Popular Osu is just 2 stations away. Hotel provide a trolley of toiletries daily n housekeeping. Best hotel ever stayed with a awesome view!"

"It’s a great hotel located in the heart of Nagoya - Sakae is a great spot to see attractions and plenty of food options nearby. You can see Oasis21 and Mirai Tower, the ferris wheel and the restaurants nearby. You can do Lawson runs and enjoy the overall comfort of the hotel. The Breakfast is awesome and I highly recommend getting it. Grindelwald was nice as well!"

"-Located approx 10mins or less from/to JR train station. Not far from Ibis style Nagoya. - Have a 7/11 or family Mart right next door. - Small rooms size and challenge for those with big baggage (only short fall). Powerful air-conditioned. -seafood mkt (morning & afternoon) within walking distance. -Strict chk in time. - Full Amendities (regular like tooth brush, vainity pack, facial cotton etc) provided + face steamer, hair curler - Htl even provided fire proof seal at the door (underneath the change towel magnets). - 1st time see a htl provided a fake door card to slot in while pax are out shopping."

"Five Stars! This hotel offers incredible value for money. It's perfectly located, just about 200 meters from Nagoya Station, with an abundance of izakayas nearby, making dining out extremely convenient. Our twin room even had the luxury of a wet-dry separated bathroom – a definite plus! The staff were diligent and well-trained, ensuring an incredibly efficient check-in process. Plus, there are two highly recommended breakfast spots right next door, Komeda and Hoshino, both excellent choices!"

"This is an excellent hotel. Its location is super convenient, and being newly renovated, it's spotlessly clean. It also offers great value for money. The surrounding area is perfect for strolling, eating, and shopping, with most establishments in the Rong business district reachable within about 10 minutes on foot."

"This is my second stay here; I also stayed last year. The price is reasonable. The room with one large and one small bed was just right and didn't feel cramped, though it might be a bit small for two adults. It's super convenient, right outside Sakae Subway Station Exit 2. The hotel is new and clean! Right outside, there's a famous Nagoya chicken wing restaurant, and a tonkatsu restaurant is also very close by. Nagoya TV Tower is also nearby. All in all, the location is quite convenient. One minor point: I'm not sure why my room was always on the fourth or fifth floor. I wonder if this is common for Ctrip bookings, as I noticed other Korean tourists and guests from different countries were assigned higher floors."

"Overall, it was pretty decent. The room rate in September was quite reasonable, and the location is convenient for getting around, situated in the Sakae business district. Several subway stations are within easy walking distance. The hotel was quite busy; I arrived around 3 PM for check-in and still had to wait for 10 minutes. The room wasn't small by Japanese standards, and it even had a massager, which was great for a quick massage after a long day of walking. The front desk area offered a coffee and cocoa machine, and the laundry room next door had an ice machine – all very convenient. The only minor hiccup was that housekeeping misplaced my blanket. It took two days of back-and-forth communication to get it back. While their attitude was very polite, constantly apologizing, their service ultimately fell short. They only provided a hotel blanket as a temporary replacement *after* I specifically requested it. The entire process was very inefficient; once my blanket was located, they first sent a photo for my confirmation, which further delayed things, before finally sending someone to pick it up from the factory. I even had to alter my itinerary for the last day to wait for its return. Aside from verbal apologies, there was no compensation whatsoever. So, a traveler's note: always pack your personal items carefully before leaving the room..."

"The Mitsui Hotel boasts an excellent location, just a five-minute walk from both the bus station and Kintetsu Nagoya Station, making it incredibly convenient for travel to places like the airport and Takayama. The hotel's design and ambiance are first-rate; it's both grand and elegant. The large public bath (大浴场) adds a wonderfully welcoming and cozy touch. The only minor issue was the room size. It felt smaller than 24 square meters, making it quite a squeeze to open even two suitcases."
