GGuest UserI saw the recommendation of Zhaiziqing Great Wall on Xiaohongshu, so I chose a nearby homestay. It was a pleasant surprise. The boss is a Great Wall guardian and has won many awards. He has been interviewed by CCTV several times. There is a TV in the hall that plays it in a loop while eating. I booked a loft room. I can see the Great Wall while lying in bed. I can reach the Great Wall in ten minutes by walking out of the homestay. The breakfast is very delicious. It is made by the boss's wife herself. The taste is very good. The boss is very enthusiastic and explained to us the origin of the Wuzihao. It was a good experience. #早餐

PPauOHanlonI believe my friends and I spent Christmas eve here. Being an exchange student from England, far from home, and my friends and classmates from Latvia and Cambodia, we needed somewhere homely and comfortable to stay. This place was exactly what we needed.
We stayed here for one night in the middle of winter as part of our road trip from Beijing to Wutaishan, following the sections of the Great Wall. We turned up after dark, we were welcomed with a big smile and slept with ease after the long drive.
In the morning I woke up early, found a spot in the courtyard garden and opened my Christmass cards. The owners dog immediately rolled over to be petted and for the next hour I had good company, drank tea and enjoyed the peace.
The owners awoke to find me outside, probably thought I was a ****** and so, immediately lit their fire in the garden. They saw me drinking tea so got the iron kettle boiling over the heat of the flames. My mates awoke to this and joined me and the boss by the fire. The outside temperature was negative, but we were warm, happy and ready for the day ahead - exploring Baishishan. The boss also showed us his great tea collection.
I want to thank the owners for a short but great stay and I highly recommend. I would like to come back in spring to see their courtyard in full bloom.

GGuest UserIt was a great trip, clean and hygienic, the environment was elegant, and most importantly, the breakfast was so rich that it satisfied my taste buds as a minority. There were seven or eight kinds of stir-fried dishes, both meat and vegetables, and the taste was amazing. I highly recommend it.

MMaimang2333Trip.com I rarely write reviews of hotels, I must praise this homestay! The first point is that Beijing is very close to driving by car. The homestay has a lot of space. There is also a window sill balcony on the second floor. The view is good, and it has its own open grass and warm small yard. The environment is very comfortable.
In one, the homestay is very close to the scenic spot, and the surrounding facilities are super convenient: the night market is lively, there are many choices of snacks in restaurants, and you can rent a small eDonkey to go for a ride along the road, which is full of comfort. There are two rafting nearby, one of which is still a stimulating glass rafting, and the experience of playing in the water is full. Adults and children are playing.
It is highly recommended to come to play and live here near the suburbs of Beijing. The overall travel is worry-free and fun. It is highly recommended that Beijing families come here on weekends. The price/performance ratio and experience are double online!

It was just that due to the disaster last year, the surrounding environment was not very good and a lot of things were still being rebuilt, but the room and service were still very good. Before I went there, I read reviews and there were three activities that children can play for free. However, when I arrived, I asked whether water fights and fishing gear activities were free and there were charges. Moreover, I didn’t see the fishing gear activities, and there was no water fight because it was opposite the accommodation. The water in the creek is extremely turbid. I must say this. There are basically no children playing in the water. The water in the creek is too unclean. There is nothing for children to play in Shiguang Garden. In the evening, Shiguang Garden has a big screen with karaoke and a bonfire party. I want to talk about this bonfire. After booking the accommodation, I asked the staff and they said that it will be there only if someone lights a bonfire. Even bonfires also require flowers. The money is not free. On the night of the Dragon Boat Festival, the staff lit the fire and just piled a small handful of firewood and lit it. No other activities were organized. I imagined that the bonfire party would be for everyone to sing and dance around the torch, but there was no such thing. There is a small mountain behind the accommodation observation deck that can be climbed. The overall feeling is that except for the clean and satisfactory accommodation environment, there are no other supporting activities. There are fees for fishing gear, water fights and bonfires, and it can be said that these three items are basically impossible to play. Before going there, I took my whole family with me and was looking forward to this trip. I was a little disappointed when I arrived. If I only focus on the quality of accommodation and choose her place to play, I can only drive to other places in the surrounding area. There is nothing to do in the accommodation place.
