"Pro: Rooftop pool is exceptional (no shade area) and has a phenomenal view of Phnom Penh in all directions (albeit a bit of a hassle to get to), nice gym, very secure building, clothes washer on the balcony is great, great price for long stay, staff is very quick to help.
Con: It took 4 rooms to get me one without an ant infestation - in the bed, on the couch, in the bathroom (Cambodian ants appear to love Colgate toothpaste), and all 4 rooms smelled like dried fish (Koreans and Chinese love this place).
Look at your room and make sure it's okay... big difference in cleanliness of apartments."

"First, we checked in to a room the aircond was only blow warm air, and bathroom only provides one toothbrush. We then requested to change to another room. This second room the aircond is perfect except for room amenities, again there’s nothing provided except for towels. I have to request room service to refill what is necessary. Second and third day, they clean the room but without replace amenities. When I asked the cleaner, she told me I have to call to request. Anyway, I did not call to ask for replace shower cap, body lotion and facial cotton for the next 2 days. I personally felt that the hotel should provide and replace all basic amenities daily. First time I felt so disappointed after so many times stay here."

"This is a favorate stop of mine. Clean rooms, nice views, reliable air conditioning. Located in what can only be called China Town, a short walk or tuktuk to Aeon shopping mall. About 20mins from Riverside depending in traffic. They have a fantastic swiming pool, which would be better if some of the guests would stop spitting and blowing their noses in the water (not locals) and what seems to be a popular gym. I was told they have free washing facilities for use, but i didnt have need of these. The staff are helpful, polite and friendly, speaking chinese and english."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience.
Pros: The swimming pool is absolutely lovely, providing a nice spot to relax and unwind.
Cons: I would have preferred to have a full-length mirror in the room, as it’s always helpful to check your outfit before heading out.
It would also be nice to have a stand for my luggage instead of putting it directly on the floor, which can be inconvenient.
One downside of the pool is the lack of privacy. There’s a restaurant located just one floor above, and it feels a bit awkward knowing that diners can see me swimming. It takes away from the relaxing vibe, as it feels like I'm part of their entertainment.
Overall, while the pool is a highlight, some improvements could enhance the overall experience."

"The photos don't do this absolutely gorgeous hotel (conveniently located close to the airport) as much justice as it deserves. Everything at this hotel was absolutely perfect!! The massive lazy river style, H-shaped pool was stunning, clean and massive. I only wish that I could have spent more time in the pool during my 3 night visit. The gorgeous four poster bed was super comfortable with beautiful bedding. My extremely comfortable, spacious room was beautifully decorated with Khmer furnishing. The bathroom is large, modern, luxurious and very clean. My flight had been delayed so I had to check in very late and even thought the restaurant was near closing time I could still order room service. The staff was very friendly and professional but could be more helpful with correct up to date tourist information about local attractions. The delicious breakfast was served in a lovely restaurant that provided many choices and fantastic coffee. I HIGHLY recommend The Bali Hotel for your Phnom Penh visit!!"

+ big rooms
+ nice view from the pool terrace, especially at night
+ convenient location, walking distance to many sightseeing spots
- pool, chairs and loungers partially need to be replaced
- NO buffet for breakfast: although the pictures showed it and the description in the booking stated it as American/Asian buffet, there is only limited options for a la carte breakfast. If you eat meat or are vegetarian, that's fine, still many options to choose from, but as a vegan I wouldn't recommend coming here.
- request a room below the 16th floor: we had a room on the 16th floor near the stairs that led up to the restaurant/bar. The pool bar is playing music until after 11pm and breakfast starts at 7am with chairs dragged around and so on. So no early rest and sleeping in possible
- construction site next to the hotel. Work starts around 7am, so better be prepared and bring earplugs"

CCaroZimThis was our second stay at Le Botum. We were upgraded to a family room which was a lovely surprise as it was quite a bit larger and higher up than the original room we had booked - it also had a nice balcony with a great view of the Mekong. The rooftop pool and restaurant have stunning views of the Phnom Penh although the food in the restaurant is very average is is overpriced for what it is. The location of the hotel is very central.

GGuest UserI highly recommend this hotel. Very reasonable price yet excellent service. Breakfast is superb. Fine dining vibe not buffet but you get to order everything in the menu until you have enough. Egg Benedict is my favorite. I will always stay in this hotel every time i visit phnom penh. Near all the restaurants and tourist attractions. There is night market in front of hotel every weekend. My son and i had the best experience given the short stay after marathon.

SsolenchinaThe hotel is walking distance from the bar and restaurant area. The rooms need a make over, my room was nice (very small window) but then when it started to rain i had a liking in my bed and i had to be changed. As i didnt like the room they put me in, i have seen many of the rooms of the hotel and they all need a make over. The swimming pool is very small and right in the reception which makes it weird. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was not buffet but i loved it. It is a hotel for people who are flexible and who are not looking for luxuries.
Internet worked all the time and the tv has many channels.

EErik StawAll good except for a particular approach to customer’s finances. I asked them for anti diarrhea medication and hotel staff said that they didn’t have it but they could buy it for me. They sent a security man upstairs but we couldn’t communicate. I used a translation software to say that I wanted one box. They left and never came back. Later I found that he needed money from me to buy the medication. Seriously??? The hotel didn’t have few measly dollars to use to buy the meds?? And then of course add this money to out hotel bill. They had our 20 dollar deposit anyway. Not good to offer help and then screw it up.
