"The room was spotless and offered stunning, photogenic views. They even included a complimentary travel photoshoot, though we didn't get a chance to take advantage of it due to our tight schedule. I'd love to come back and stay longer next time to fully explore! In my rush to catch the flight, I forgot some items, but Manager Chen was incredibly helpful and mailed them back to my home – I'm so grateful! Every single staff member was incredibly attentive; they even washed and returned my clothes. Plus, the breakfast was delicious."

"The ceiling of Dali B&B is worth the stay experience of travel experts who like the style. What is different is that Jiudu is a private mansion tailored by the owner for himself, and he himself is the top luxury mansion designer in China. It was originally used for self-residence and reception of relatives and friends. Because the novelty has passed, seven rooms were taken out for B&B. Each room is luxuriously equipped, with an excellent location and angle for viewing the sea, and Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain are in full view. The seven guest rooms are actually equipped with two full-time aunts for cleaning, which is more secure than other B&Bs that use hourly workers for cleaning for profit purposes. I also searched for this small and beautiful B&B with zero negative reviews through Ctrip comments. I have to thank Ctrip's rating mechanism for being lucky enough to stay. I have seen that many negative reviews of Internet celebrity high-scoring B&Bs are just for show. The location is good and the appearance is beautiful and suitable for taking pictures. There are more complaints about the interior decoration and sanitation. Jiudu B&B is both inside and outside. You don't want to leave after staying in the hotel. It is very comfortable, cozy, clean and hygienic. Jiudu B&B is worth staying for a long time. It is the king of cost-effectiveness of high-end B&Bs. It is worth staying again and it is highly recommended."

"This boutique hotel is located in a quiet and upscale neighborhood. All rooms have a large balcony with panoramic views of the Erhai Lake and Dali city. The amenities are excellent. Rooms are very clean and beautifully furnished with a modern touch. They offer a set menu of breakfast with two options: Chinese or western. Both are delicious. One can order additional portions of anything on the menu for free. The breakfast comes with multiple coffee options. There is an on-site restaurant offering delicious Thai style food for lunch and dinner. Staff members are super friendly and helpful. They offer free airport or train station pickup and drop offs. Also help guests arrange rental cars, photography sessions, etc. They helped us hire a car and driver, which was an excellent way to do a day-trip around the Erhai Lake. One thing to note is that I speak Chinese and I’m handy with using Chinese ride hailing apps. Since the hotel is located on the top of a hill, I would recommend taking a taxi or hail a ride going back (there is a shortcut going down the hill to the lake front). My family stayed for five nights at Aranya and very much enjoyed it. Would definitely want to stay there again on our next trip to Dali. "The hotel's unique architectural design is truly remarkable and worth experiencing. Our kids had a fantastic time, and it's so photogenic that every picture we took turned out amazing. When making a reservation, pay close attention to the different room types, as some offer superior features. The outdoor pool is also quite large. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and both the breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent. The only slight drawback is the hotel's location within a very crowded scenic area, and the surrounding environment outside the hotel grounds can be a bit chaotic and unkempt, which feels a little inconsistent with the hotel's otherwise premium appeal."

"I travel with my husband and 2 kids (17 y.o and 14 y.o). We really enjoy stay at this hotel. The hotel, especially the room is so clean, very comfortable and modern. The location also quite and view from our room is superb, facing Erhai Lake. Service also very good, we couldn’t catch tea time but they offer to deliver to our room once we come back to hotel. Everything is amazing about this hotel."

"We had two days trip in Dali, and find this amazing place to stay, our family are pleased to be hosted by XuQi and her colleague, and my daughter really enjoy the time and the space she can running free without problems. The view from balcony is awesome and you can pretty much see half of Erhai and the west side of Dali. However there are still some things need attentions, the wallpaper had peeled off in some areas and the privacy in toilet even in bath room. You can’t use the indoor bath tub freely which I don’t quite understand why need to be done on that way. There is no snacks and instant food provided that clearly mentioned in policy, some facilities are not kids friendly. We had stay over 2 nights however the outside pool besides balcony not ready to use by we arrived and the next day we requiring to use but still got leaking issues.:( Anyway overall it’s good and we are happy to staying here. I would say a long way to go if you are targeting the high level guests."

"I've been so busy with work lately, and I really wanted to find a place to relax and unwind, so I decided to go on a solo trip to Dali. After comparing several B&Bs, I settled on this one. It felt like a dream trip back to the south of France. The hotel's white hues are predominantly white, with plenty of greenery inside. My room had a direct ocean view and a small balcony. The weather was perfect, so I sat on the balcony and enjoyed the hotel's thoughtful afternoon tea, which was incredibly relaxing. In the afternoon, I walked from the hotel to Erhai Lake. When I returned late that night, the housekeeper thoughtfully left the door open. The next day, they prepared a hearty breakfast tailored to my taste. Even though I was traveling alone, it gave me a strong sense of belonging. I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I had the chance. 💕"

The modern design of pink and blue stands out from many homestays. It is very rare that the real thing is exactly the same as the photo. The room decoration is modern and stylish, and every detail shows the ingenuity of the owner. The bed is comfortable and the home appliances are also high-end, such as smart toilets and Dyson hair dryers. The staff are also warm and thoughtful, and they also help rent a car.
