"beach water and location were amazing. As was Hamdan our concierge. Italian and indian restaurant the bomb and some of the best we have tried. That being said, resort is tired, rooms vary and need updating and staff required further training on hospitality. If you are looking for excellent water beach, sand then it's great but it's not an overall 5 * resort."
"The Peridot is a beautiful resort but is undergoing renovations so they don't offer any services at the moment. The pool is full of dirty water, the reception bathrooms are still full of lime and insects, there are workers (rightly) wandering around the entire resort and the breakfast is really poor: they offer toast with butter and jam and something savory. The rooms, on the other hand, are fabulous, spacious and state-of-the-art... ours was directly on the sea and offers L'Occitane products which in our opinion are excellent. The price for the current conditions is decidedly high."
"The resort offers quadruple rooms that are well-suited for families. These rooms are clean, and equipped with basic necessities, providing good value for the price. Overall, Redang De'Rimba Resort can be a good choice for families who are looking for a budget-friendly stay and don’t mind the distance from the beach."
"The service and the people were honestly so nice super friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff and the bus driver who drove us to and from our rooms the whole trip. The rooms were okay, I’d give them a 4/5.
But the food? Absolutely terrible. This was hands down the worst food I’ve ever had at any hotel in my life. The boiled eggs were rotten, the bread was old and stale there was literally nothing worth eating.
As for the private beach… total disaster. You have to go down a lot of stairs just to get to this so-called beach, which ended up being full of garbage and sharp rocks. Definitely not the relaxing beach experience anyone would hope for."
