Location is wonderful, near to major tourist attractions with nearby subway. Room is great & staff are friendly. Special mention to Ada, Candy and the gentleman at the main entrance who impressed us with their warm service. Hotel has no breakfast option, but they include warm touches like complimentary coffee/pastries at lobby, complimentary cocktail at rooftop bar with nice view. During our stay, they had a cool food truck outside with serving complimentary noodles & bun. It's a nice experience enjoying local flavours with great autumn weather. Totally worth a stay here.

The hotel is well situated just maybe around 10 min from heavy Nanjing road and close to the hotel we can find some supermarket which is very convenient. The staff is very nice and the service is great.

Firstly, I have to begin this review by highlighting the impeccable care and attention provided by the staff at Opartment. I’ve been so impressed that it’s still on my mind even days after leaving the city. This trip was particularly special for me. I’ve visited Shanghai many times for work and have always loved the city, so this time I decided to bring my family along to experience it together. Choosing to stay at Opartment truly made the trip even more special and memorable and a big part of that is thanks to Ben. Throughout our stay, Ben exceeded every expectation with his great care and attention. His professionalism, warmth, and thoughtful gestures made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Ben demonstrated an extraordinary standard of hospitality that’s hard to come by. His sincerity and dedication left a lasting impression on our entire family, and for that, we are truly grateful. My heartfelt thanks also go to Candy and her front desk team, who were incredibly kind and helpful. They went beyond their usual duties helping us arrange shipments, place orders through local apps we weren’t familiar with, and always doing so with patience and a smile. And also not forgetting the gentlemen at the hotel entrance always greeting us with friendly smiles and on rainy days using an umbrella to bring us to our car at the pick up point. In terms of service, I’ve stayed in several hotels in Shanghai, but honestly, this has been the best experience I’ve ever had here. The room was spacious, well arranged, and simply beautiful, a space that felt both elegant and cozy. I especially recommend the suites with a balcony and city view! standing there and feeling the cool breeze, especially in autumn was such a joy. The bed was very comfortable, and I later discovered from the leaflet that guests can even choose their preferred type of pillow. That said, I slept wonderfully with the ones provided by default. I also appreciated the thoughtful details - complimentary detergent capsules for the washing machine, a hair dryer that’s even better than Dyson, and Byredo toiletries that add a luxurious touch. Every aspect of the room reflected meticulous attention to detail. Overall, my stay at Opartment was nothing short of exceptional. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to anyone visiting Shanghai.

Beautiful boutique hotel and 10-15 mins walk to 步行街. Have dryer and washing machine. Good for family. Only confusion is the complimentary breakfast that comes with bao and eggs on day one with paid noodles but day 2 egg need to pay and noodle and bao are complimentary. Rather inconsistent policy that creates confusion and slight frustration.

I truly believe this hotel is excellent and trustworthy. The facilities and services are first-class, making my stay very comfortable. Most of all, Candy, the housekeeper, was extremely thoughtful and attentive, and her genuine care left a lasting impression. Thanks to her, my stay was even more enjoyable. I can confidently recommend this hotel to anyone—thumbs up!

This is my fourth stay at Opartment, and it's always a fantastic choice for a staycation in Shanghai. I really appreciate their 'home away from home' concept; it's my go-to place when I want to clear my mind and relax in Shanghai. Food deliveries are always brought directly to your room by a butler. From 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the lobby offers complimentary croissants from Crave, along with savory vegetable bread and sweet fruit bread. They also provide complimentary in-room coffee service from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. For Qixi Festival, the hotel even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of red wine, which was a very welcome unexpected bonus!

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of Shanghai, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. The place was clean and tastefully decorated. They even provided toiletries for the children, which was a very thoughtful touch. We booked a two-bedroom, one-living room apartment this time, which was perfect for our three generations. The hotel staff member, Bella, was incredibly attentive. We absolutely loved it here and will definitely be back!

The hotel boasts impressive French-style architecture and offers outstanding views from its terraces and windows. The service was excellent, with all staff proactively greeting guests. However, the building is quite old, and the elevators are slow. Rooms lack amenities such as a sound system and a bathtub, and there was no dedicated hamper for used towels. It feels like the hotel prioritizes aesthetics over practical convenience. Furthermore, the room soundproofing was not very good, and as it was during the summer holiday, despite repeated interventions and reminders from staff, they were unable to curb noise from other guests at 2 AM. Breakfast is not provided; only a limited selection of bread and coffee was available. Overall, the value for money was rather mediocre.

Clean room and friendly staffs. There is no restaurant in the hotel but they provided free pastries from the bakery next door for breakfast.

Nice stay at a central location next to the renmin park metro station. Decent size rooms and complimentary breakfast and coffee .

This hotel’s location is amazing with its close proximity to the train station, Raffles City and more. The service also went above and beyond my expectations, with Bella taking care of all my needs and wants. She was very lively and proactive, which made my stay all the more enjoyable and comfortable. The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed as well, I could have spent my entire trip in the room alone!! 远东饭店位于城市中心地带，临近主要交通枢纽，为我们提供了极大的出行便利。步行400米即到上海博物馆非常方便～ 服务方面呢，酒店管家bella展现出的专业素养和热情服务是酒店的一大亮点^_^ 安排的房间设计非常人性化，布局合理且宽敞明亮。床品舒适，让我每晚都能有一个良好的睡眠还不错。

very nice boutique style hotel and have very friendly staff and attentive service. It is not in the busy area within HuangPu but near enough to walk to the metro lines and the famous Nanjing Street. The architecture is very beautiful and restoration of the hotel is very well done. The rooftop bar Opus is also very nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and it has 2 bathrooms and a washing machine / dryer which make it very convenient for travellers.

It has been a very pleasant stay at Opartment Shanghai. My family will definitely staying at Opartment again the next time we visit Shanghai. Thank you for all the staff for your kindly service.
